Fifth Third Bank & ATM Harding Pike, Nashville

This isn't set up like a traditional bank; it's more of an open space with desks where you can sit down in collaboration with your banker. It seems more friendly and personal, and I love this idea! My banker is now a gentleman named Lucky, who caught a mistake with how my accounts were set up, and fixed it for me. I was about to get up, thinking everything was as good as I could get it, but Lucky saw an error message on the screen and knew it meant overdraft protection wasn't set up. I had originally opened my accounts in a different city before moving to Nashville, and my first credit card never arrived (I was in a bad neighborhood). As a result, my account had gotten a bit borked. Lucky explained everything to me and fixed it. It's nice to find someone who can understand complex situations customers can't even explain, and who can make everything right. I expect that this Fifth Third bank probably has pretty good customer service in general, regardless who you see. It appears to be well managed and staffed, and it might be a test market concept branch to try out new ideas (just a guess, but my last town Columbus, Ohio, is a huge test market city; so I notice these things). This is the right Fifth Third branch to go to. You'll probably get better service here than any other branch.

I had a horrible experience here in college. The ATM ate my debit card, so I had to go inside in order for them to return my card. As I sat with an employee (she seemed kind), we chatted about me getting a loan in the future to buy a home. I told her it would be a few years. Eventually, I received my debit card and went home. A week later, a credit card came in the mail from that bank! I was livid. I had NOT signed up for one, nor had I asked or approved its receipt. Upon calling to get it removed from my account, customer service said that I could NOT get rid of the card once it was open unless I closed it... which would affect my credit. I was baffled! Fast forward to last month, my husband's bank (US Bank) opened a credit card for him without his approval. When he called them, they apologized and had the card completely removed from his credit history. At least US Bank did the right thing to fix this situation! Did you know it is considered FRAUD when banks open a credit card on your behalf WITHOUT your approval. Fifth Third "couldn't" help me. It's appalling to take advantage of people.

I applied for an loan with Hasan and he has been amazing with the whole process. I’ve never had someone be so accommodating and helpful. There were some other matters I needed to handle, and we were able to knock them out no problem. Hasan told me he’s big on family, and the service he’s provided has more than proved that. Finances can be a major point of anxiety for me, but I trust I’m in good hands banking here.

Nina is the rudest Teller in all of the Fifth Third Banks in TN. This bank has so much turnover! All of the good people leave and the bad people somehow manage to stay!
