Fifth Third Bank & ATM W Dundee Rd, Buffalo Grove

Absolutely horrible customer service. The bank made a mistake, I tried to resolve several times by calling, stopping by and talking to associates. After 2 weeks of waiting tried to call this branch and spoke to the Manager John, who clearly did not have time to listen to my explanation and before hanging up on me, shouted “Lady, I do not have time to argue”. I honestly have not had this kind of rude service in awhile. Was truly shocked.

I must say that I am pleasantly surprised with my experience at Fifth Third Bank based on other Google reviews at this location. John Gallagher is exemplary. He is informative, helpful and professional. I highly recommend this branch.

The Worst Customer Care at This Location. The Staff don’t do their Job. Sits into one Cabin and Chit Chat. They don’t care for any New Customer. They don’t care giving out any information. If you have any questions just keep the Questions within you. Do not Ask Them. They are not there to answer your questions. They are there to do their Chit Chat and not to work. Manager is never on Duty. Why 53rd Bank keeps these kind of Useless Branches Open???? Don’t waste your Time Going this Location, And May be all Locations.

Horrible customer service. I got a coupon code in the mail. I was brought into the office, and the lady gave me all the wrong information. She told me I could not open a new account unless I had $1500. I also was told I had to wait 4 months to get bonus. The manager said to her that I could not use the coupon code, as it was only available at Kildeer location. GO TO KILDEER LOCATION_THEY ARE AWESOME

I have fraud on my account. Called twice. Was on hold 40 minutes. Finally reached a representative. She started the fraud info and disconnected me before she finished. Tried to call back two more times. On hold 40-90 minutes each time . Never got through. Called the bank. They can do anything! In the meantime I have FRAUD on my account. I need to cancel my card and get this resolved. Still on the phone TWO DAYS later. I would not recommended this bank. I have most of my money at Chase.

I would never do my banking here and only came to deposit my rent. I entered the establishment and was not greeted whatsoever; walked up to the counter as a woman was typing away and was told that she'd be with me when she was finished; and then proceeded to type on her computer for another 3-5 minutes. She then handled the transaction with the personality of a slug and I had to ask for a receipt. It was like going to the currency exchange minus the bullet proof glass

This place does NOT deserve any stars at all! WORST customer service, came in to close an account, there was 1 personal banker (Javeria Siddiqi), who was on the phone, her door was closed, but the entire conversation could be heard and appeared to be personal. Once I started asking if any one else can help us, she yelled through a closed door that she is almost done and she will help us. I t was also suggested that I should come back tomorrow, by the girl behind a teller like. When Javeria was finally done, she was extremally unprofessional with us, very rude, she was giving me wrong information, then she went to the teller line and was having a personal conversation with the male teller (didn't get the guys name), I came up to the teller line, since everything was taking way too long and she kept having a personal conversation about Mike Kukla who called her and what he said and abut someone names Juan......I was ignored the whole time, I felt like I was at a Flea market....Very Dissapointed

I have had a 5th 3rd bank account for the better part of a year. I have had nothing but problems with them. Don't pit your money in this bank!

This place is a joke!!!!! Starting with the personal bankers all the way to John, the branch manager. We have never experienced such a bad customer service anywhere. We were yelled at by John, for coming back to get a banker's error resolved...………….

WHY, Why is it all I see here is complaints? Surely this bank exists and stays existing because the MAJORITY of patrons find value banking here. INSTANT GRATIFICATION only exists in short supply these days. Stop and smell the roses ....occasionally.
