Federal Title was fantastic in every way. Prior to closing, they excelled in both proactive and reactive communication. The team was constant at answering my questions quickly and clearly. Furthermore, they provided good information for us to be able to make decisions on title insurance options. The closing went incredibly smoothly, and their office is very accommodating and comfortable. I highly recommend Federal and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future!

I had a very complicated closing a very high end property and Jamie Banks was by far the most responsive professional out of all of the parties involved. This responsiveness included my random requests for information, deliverable updates etc. all the way until I closed via mobile notary where she gave me updates via text and calls every 30min to a hour on the ETA of the notary. She also walked me through the itemized closing disclosure line by line and ensures that all totals were correct after receiving it from the Lender. Thank you for making just a turbulent closing feel so pleasant at the end, Jamie. Linda, the notary was great as well! Efficient and a lovely personality.

On the purchase of our home we used Federal Title and they were great from the beginning of the process to the end. Super responsive and friendly. I felt like I knew what was going on going into the close and they helped kept the stress level down. The close itself was super organized and fast. We have purchased a few homes and this was definitely the most organized and fastest which is nice.

Federal Title made requesting title services and sending our earnest deposit quick and simple! Their settlement coordinator was responsive throughout the process. Catherine, the attorney who met us at closing, explained everything in clear terms and had valuable suggestions for us and our new home. She was fantastic! Be aware that the guaranteed quote for services that Federal Title provides upon ordering services is for their services and the survey only. The government taxes, stamps, and recording fees can vary quite a bit by the time you get to closing. With that said, I would highly recommend Federal Title.

Worked with Federal Title for the first time recently and the experience was excellent, a breath of fresh air in an industry that often can lack the personal touch. I've now worked with Federal Title three times; first when buying our first home, second when refinancing the same home, and third with the purchase of our second home. All three times proved to be an extremely smooth and painless experience. They are very responsive to emails and made sure I was aware of everything well ahead of time. I refinanced my property from quarantine during COVID-19, and the entire staff were able to keep my case ahead of schedule, despite all of the high volume and telework complications that came during that time. I especially want to highlight Catherine and Jacquice - both were extraordinarily responsive to any questions and concerns I had throughout the process. Catherine, the attorney with whom I worked most closely, welcomed the proactive role I wanted to play in the process, never making me feel like I was overbearing. She also was open to creative solutions to resolve the peculiar title situation of my property, in order to keep the process moving forward. The warmth and attentiveness of that service is exceptional and cannot be taken for granted, particularly in this industry. I look forward to working with Federal Title again for purchases in the future; in the meantime, I will be enthusiastically recommending their team to friends, colleagues, and (now) strangers on the internet looking for title services in the DMV.

Federal Title are efficient, fast and responsive! We requested closing as sellers at a different location closer to us separate from the buyer and their location, and Fed Title were able to accommodate us. Got the proceeds fast and were clear in their costs. I’ve done 4 transactions in the past two years and glad we came across these folks!

Federal Title did a great job with my closing. They realized I could get a better discount with one method versus the one previously chosen, notified me, and saved me money! When my closing was a bit up in the air, they were flexible changing the time from early morning to mid-afternoon without an issue. And finally, they were professional and responsive to my questions throughout the process, and the closing was very smooth. Plus, the free coffee and jelly beans in the office were a perfect touch since I hadn't eaten during the stressful closing day!

Tedd and his team at Federal Title were great when we closed on our first house. While we were very nervous about the "big day" the staff at Federal made it a little less stressful. The staff walked us through all the papers we were signing, their importance and meaning. And all of this was done in a timely manner. We were out of there in an hour. Overall very professional and friendly!
