I recently was represented by Gabrielle Valentine for a citation. She and her staff were very professional in nature. During the consultation she asked good questions and took notes as needed. Then she told me what the options were in my situation and it was clear she knew what she was talking about. I agreed to have her represent me and without trepidation awaited my court date. Well the court date finally arrived and once my case was discussed with the DA Mrs. Valentine came to me and said I was free to go and that my case had been dismissed. He took the time to explain the entire process in detail, emailed me information, and made sure to follow up with me. Once we got the ball rolling he and his staff (Erica) were very efficient. Adopting a child is an emotional rollercoaster and having them step us through everything assured us we never had to worry about that part of the process. As we got closer to delivery time, Mark gave us his personal cell phone number so he could be at the hospital to get the paperwork signed. They even brought us a baby gift!! I would not hesitate to use this firm again as a result of the outcome they achieved for me in traffic court in Polk County. I was charged with speeding 52 in a 25 zone, with a charge of reckless driving tacked on because of the potential for children playing in the area, a mix of residence and business buildings. There was no other traffic on the street at the time and it was a clear day. I had not received a traffic ticket in 20 years, but prior to that I had a history of chronic speeding offenses resulting from driving long distances related to my employment. I had been to driving school several times and endured crippling insurance rates on occasion. Gabrielle Valentine, Attorney, and Alexis dos Santos, her excellent Legal Assistant advised me of the best and worst case scenarios that could result from my hearing and I was prepared for something in between. They obtained the best possible result without me even having to appear in court. I was so grateful that I took a flower arrangement to their office with an additional contribution that would certainly have gone to the insurance company had they not accomplished the reduction to 9 miles over the speed limit and dismissal of the reckless driving charge.
