I’m posting to warn anyone that these associates, specifically Amy Lipps. Failed to be responsive, told me and the perspective property owner that they sent for an appraisal and lied. In this day and age we’re there is email, text, phone calls. She sloppily told us we could get a loan for 126k on a 207k property, giving 40% down and 6299 in closing fees. Then after not returning calls to either me, my family and the property owner, she called today to state i made a mistake we can only loan you 50k. The lack of service in burning up my clock on contract was devastating and now rushing to deal with professionals.l else ware. There was no apology or compassion. I asked for the supervisor to call but nothing. Lack of accountability in their organization breeds this crappy complacency and it’s sad. I strongly suggest never being their customer. Thank you

Farm Credit Mid-America/Rural 1st completely mishandled our mortgage application. Amy Studebaker Lipps (Eaton, OH office) failed to process our loan application in a timely manner and did not order an appraisal on our home. We are now left with 7 days to secure alternate financing or we will not have a home for our family. I hope that nobody has to endure the stress that Farm Credit and Ms. Lipps has imposed on us.

Highly recommend for land and new construction loans. Amy Lipps is great!

Reading below reviews I can only feel that getting a loan is a very stressful process, and finding a bank for a specific loan can be even more daunting. Even so, everyone's financial situation is so different in how much money you have, and well, how much you don't. I've been dealing with Amy Lipps for a few years now, and can truly say that she has the customers best interest at heart. I came to Amy more than 2 years ago talking about a dream of a pole barn structured house. She made that happen for me. That being said all the financial pieces aligned for us just right. We are able to be our own GCs on the project, needing 10% cash in hand, owned the land as equity, and appraised for what we needed which is key. They were only able to lend 65% of appraised value so money in hand is important. Overall the process took right at 3 months. We were more than happy with our final closing. Now for the hard work to begin! Thanks again Amy!

Amy Lipps gives poor customer service took over 2 weeks to get back on a loan.

Called over a week ago. Spoke to someone named Amy. No follow-up whatsoever. I’m not pursuing someone who obviously doesn’t want our business.
