I worked at Sage. Nothing special. They don't pay very much (not a livable wage) for the production people. The equipment they use to make Sage rods is old, half broken, and causes a LOT of re-worked rods. Each rod with a printed logo on it had to be redone at least once, sometimes as many as 10 times over. These Rods are WAY OVERPRICED, considering they are the same as other rods. Cheaper rods are made in better factories with new, state of the art equipment. Sage rods are made on equipment that is 30 years old, maybe older.

No... deal with someone else. Customer service is low quality. I break my pole from just being stupid. And ask to buy a new part, they insist that I mail it to them and keep asking me if it is a warranty fix. Like no I said it was my fault I told you what was wrong stop trying to baby me, and sell me a freaking part. So stupid. Alright I had to edit this review up a bit since I really did like the pole. It performed very well for an economy package, just frustrating service.

If you buy a Sage rod and you break it, you will be waiting two to three months for your repaired rod to return to you. At the current silly prices for Sage rods, the current level of warranty conditions is the worst in the industry.

I have been a patron of Sage rods for years, they make superb flyrods and their kinetic line of rods are top shelf treats for advanced casters in both single and double handed rods. Recently, I was the unlucky customer to experience few rare hiccups within the warranty department. Management took the time to call me, apologize, and then went above and beyond, to let me know that they valued my patronage as a customer. With Sage, you get what you expect, great people, superb rods!

Made a purchase back in March. The order never arrived. I have been trying to contact the company for months with no luck. I've called the number and sent about 5 emails to the listed email address. We are a small nonprofit that does water quality monitoring and we need our staff to be protected in waders. I paid almost $300 for these waders and i am really bummed I cannot get into contact with the company. Please please get back to me.

I have been looking to order a rod and reel combo for 5 or 6 months now and have been watching the Redington website checking on stock and have contacted customer assistance a few times checking on eta and have been given three different dates when stock would arrive. I have checked back on and around the dates given with no luck, so three weeks ago was around the last date I was given when stock would be in so I gave them one last chance and boom it didn't show out of stock so I placed my order. A week goes by and it hasn't shipped so I contacted customer assistance only to be told I wont be getting my order. I exchanged a few emails with customer assistance about the order then he tells me he found one of the combos to fill my order and keep a eye out for a confirmation email in 2 or 3 days, GREAT NEWS! Well it's been two weeks and I still haven't received that email and and don't have my product. Guess I'll take my business and money somewhere else. You have lost this customer.

Ordered something on Tuesday for two day delivery. Come Friday the item has not arrived FedEx tells me they guarantee it will be there before 8 AM on Saturday. 8 AM on Saturday still no delivery call FedEx they tell me it might be there sometime today. I already cut my trip short by planning to leave on Saturday instead of Friday night and I’ll either waste my Friday night cut short my trip but now I don’t have my fishing gear for a fishing trip.

Customer service was great. Didn’t have parts for my broken rod because it was discontinued. They gave me a more expensive rod for only 45 dollars.

Worst customer service ever!! I was told a backordered rod would be available mid March, now changed to mid June. Also spent 30 minutes on hold, only to get voicemail!! Their competitors have nothing to worry about!!!!
