Best pawn shop around. Staff are so friendly. Caught it when they had a special on the AR-15s and got at a phenomenal price. The staff were more than willing to help me with questions I had. Definitely recommend. Will be back for ammo and more guns.

We are beyond excited and thrilled with our handgun purchases with FJP! This was my first handgun, and the sales associate, Brayden, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about what makes and models would work best for me as a CC gun. I found one that was absolutely perfect for me! My husband was also looking for a very specific make/model that, due to its popularity, isn’t always available in all shops. They not only had one, but it was an “XL” version that worked even better for my husband. They sell both refurbished and brand new firearms (all types). (We chose to purchase new ones). Brayden assisted us from start to finish, taking care of all of the required steps, and everyone else in the store was also friendly and professional. They all helped to make the visit to the store and our purchase so enjoyable! A wonderful benefit of purchasing from FJP is that they get to know you, so when you come to the store, they treat you like a friend.

My family has been shopping at fjp gor years. We always get the best deals on game systems, jewelry, tools and everything else we might need. I would recommend this store to anyone who likes good deals. And Gaby is the beat, come ask for her and you will not regret it.

I’ve purchased one handgun gun from Family Jewelry and Pawn and have another on layaway. First, I have to say that they have the best layaway terms that I’ve ever seen, so if you want to pay slowly over time, this is a great resource. This is the friendliest, most welcoming gun shop I’ve ever been to. Being new to the world of firearms, in other stores I’ve felt very intimidated and unsure of myself. Not here! The entire staff is trained to take the time that I need to feel comfortable and makes sure I understand how to safely operate the weapons. Secondly, when you purchase a gun you can get a discount on their Concealed Carry Weapons class. Tim was my instructor and he was amazing! He was able to incorporate real-world scenarios and keep the class engaging and entertaining. If you’re looking for a CCW class, (weather you bought a gun there or not), I highly recommend this location.

Very friendly staff who have been helpful with my wife getting her new guns and ammunition. They spend the time talking to her and explaining why each gun would be good or not so good for her. Even though ammunition is hard to come by, they are charging a fair price. I highly recommend stopping by and checking them out.

i Recently took the ccw class at Family jewelry & pawn. The staff was very respectful & helpful. Tim is a great instructor really cool guy. He helps you get a better understanding on firearm saftey & firearms there were a few things he helped me confirm as well as explained what firearms are the best to choose from . I recommend anyone who is interested in purchasing there ccw to check them out!! PRICES ARE 100% reasonable they even give you a discount on the ccw course if you purchase a firearm or reserve one on layaway. I will gladly be coming back for jewelry or firearms in the near future.

Tim helped me with my first pistol purchase, he was extremely informative and offered plenty of advice. I was shown plenty of options, and the gun I was looking for was in stock. They do layaway, and a CCW class is discounted if you buy a gun. The CCW class was also informative, realistic, and Tim kept it fun and involved. It didn't take a long time, and parking was fine for a decent sized class on a Saturday. (No stress about masks) All in all a great experience, will be doing plenty of business with this store as it's very local, and they seem like good people who deserve it.

Different from a stereotypical pawn shop. I grew up not liking pawn shops. Honestly I thought they were seedy places who preyed on people. Until I walked into Family Jewelry and Pawn. They really care about their customers, which nowadays is lacking everywhere. They are really fair about their pricing and I have bought several things from them. Some new and some items that were sold to them. All were in clean and perfect working order. It’s nice to be able to get some items for cheaper to help out during the holidays. The staff is really friendly and some are funny and very helpful, especially because I know nothing about firearms. They are so patient and informative. I am really interested in their new CCW class they offer and heard some great stuff about it from others. Although I did not win the big raffle at their customer appreciation event this month, I am blown away at how much the owners give to their customers. Free food and entertainment and then there were huge free raffles and sales on items in the store. I heard they do it every year! Glad they changed my mind about Pawn Shops, well...at least this one.

Bought two hand guns and they spent all the time we needed to make the decision. Tim was very knowledgeable (actually they all were) and patient with us, never rushing us to move to the next dale (and there were lots of people in the store!) We also took the concealed weapon’s class and it was FANTASTIC! We will definitely be a returning customer for years to come!

Family Jewelry and Pawn was recommended to my wife and I to purchase firearms and take Florida’s CCW safety course. The staff are amazing! They make you feel like you’re family. I really respect how strict they are regarding safety and guns. Whether you’re experienced with guns or not, you will always have something new to learn talking with the staff. Our instructor and self proclaimed (Gun Nerd) Tim was fantastic! My wife and I took the course at the same time, and they allowed my 7 year old daughter and 11 year old son to come with us. Tim held everyone’s attention with a little humor, and it allowed people to absorb and retain the information. Both of my kids were answering his questions too! The word Family definitely belongs in the name of this business.

I am rewriting my review. This place in comparison to other pawn shops in Clermont is really great, because they do listen to the clients an try to help out. I have had tough times and they do the best to give me what I need to get by. I had avoided them in the past because I was upset of losing things that I made payments on for months. So losing my things and money for multiple payments ticked me off. In the past they did not send any notifications of upcoming payments due, I just went today and was informed that they now have a service they'll text you 4 days before your payment is due. That is extremely helpful to any busy clients they have. So glad they changed that !

Went to the store for a shot gun and saw that they had the new glock 19x. The same one I saw a year ago and jumped on it before it was gone again. The price was a bit higher than what I saw last year, never the less I still put money on it. My budy was also looking for a new pistol so over the weekend we drove around looking and I saw the g19x for less. I took a picture and went back, I showed Todd the price and he didn't hesitate on matching the price as I was waiting for my background to come back.
