This review is more for my personal FIMC representative than the company as a whole. The reason for this is that she, Dana Lucas, was working with a different company when we first came into contact for my mortgage loan. She was great! Very knowledgeable and great with communication. This was my first mortgage so I didn't know anything getting started. She basically had to explain everything to me. And did so with patience. She was very helpful throughout the entire process and regularly checking in to see how things were going. A true professional! That being said, I ended up using Fairway because Dana moved to the company and we had established a good working relationship. Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation is lucky to have Dana Lucas on their team and anyone who has the pleasure of working with Dana is lucky as well.

I'll start by saying that we have purchased several homes over the years in varying locations. The lending process is typically the most stressful part of the process. Well, that is until we me the wonderful people at Fairway. Jeff and his entire team worked diligently to give us peace of mind. We were relocating from the north which presented some concerns; being out of state means you aren't right here. That did not impede the Fairway team. We always knew what was going on at every step because they were proactive in communicating what was happening. Whenever we had questions the questions were answered quickly. I will use Fairway again in a heartbeat if ever we decide to move again.

The Gilmore team made this mortgage process extremely easy. As a first time home buyer, I had a lot of questions which they answered quickly and thoroughly. The quality that I appreciated the most was their willingness to accommodate the VERY short timeline for this situation. They kept me in-the-know at all times and I never felt surprised by anything in the process.

Had a great experience with getting a loan on a new home purchase. The negative comes with communication with refinancing our home. I started inquiring last December which home values in our neighborhood skyrocketed. I was sending emails quite often trying to get some idea of what can be done for me. I was getting the run around as if refinancing wasn’t a priority for them. I did the leg work of providing recent home sales on my street and my credit score was good enough for the refinance. The homes on my block were reassessment and payment has gone up by $150 a month. They said they would look into it and then also pulled my credit and never heard back. I emailed asking for an update, and no response what so ever. With the home values through the roof and good credit scores, there should be no problem they could not do a refinance. If you would choose not to work with me, they could at least send a response saying to look elsewhere instead of leaving me in limbo. Also, with the interest rates gone up by dragging their feet has left me with no options at this time.

David was so patient with us, he was there guiding us throughout the entire process from start to finish, he remained professional and kind always. Was having trouble with my local "Rocket" mortgage broker getting an appraisal of the historic home my wife and I were buying. After three weeks of waiting they finally got us one guaranteed within two additional weeks. Apparently appraisers don't like old homes. This would have it back on the last day of our due diligence and I found it unacceptable. The reel estate agent recommend Karl Hoeferlin with Fairway mortgage. I spoke with him and by the end of the day he had an appraisal guaranteed within the week leaving plenty of time for DD if a problem were found.. which there was. We addressed the issue with the house and closed in a timely manner. Not only that Karl was able to get us the same rate Rocket offered. He really save the day for us.
