I was at BOFA's financial center in South Park, Charlotte, 2 weeks ago to pen a checking account. Everything went OK, Harry McCallister was very nice and efficient. I am now in Chile and need to contact Harry but I received a message that he may be away for some time. I would appreciate if you could provide with an alternative Manager (e-mail address) as I need to solve an issue.

    Response from the owner

Whenever I visit the Bank at the Fairview road on Fridays or Saturdays I have noticed the manager telling me "today the teller is closed". I visited the bank today to get money change not notes but coins as I needed for my needs, I was told by the manager "the teller is closed today" (08/20/21 10 am). Unfortunately like Japan ATM in the bank of America does not spit out coins when you need . Why does this happen on Fridays or Saturdays? I would expect as an emergency the bank would have a back up if due to unforseen circumstances the teller is not able to come to the office.

    Response from the owner

We are doing our best to remain open to serve our clients while implementing changes within our financial centers to follow CDC and government guidelines. As such, some locations may be either temporarily closed or operating at adjusted hours. If you’d like to visit an alternative financial center, please click the following link for the most up-to-date info on our centers: http://go.bofa.com/Locator. Also, when new information is available regarding openings and hours, the website will be updated.

So tired of having to deal with their automative service. Been trying to make an appointment online for the past hour. It keeps kicking me out of the system. Customer service is good once you get through to them. Getting a hold of them by phone or online can take hours. And I don't get it because everytime I go to the bank people are chatting around so why does no one pick up the phone and difficult to schedule online. Very frustrating!

Long lines. A second cashier at lunchtime would be nice when you consider your paying maintenance fees ( if your poor like me) for a bank with locations that have been reduced to a single outdoor atm. If your not poor good for you.

Waiting time in this location is truly ridiculous. Extremely understaffed or just a normal pace of working here? Not sure. But waiting for around 2 hours to do the wire transfer in a current circumstances of life regimen for a person who has a daytime job and needs to be somewhere else too? More windows and associates would definitely benefit in the location rating.

    Response from the owner

Hi, Anna. We value your business and are sorry that you were disappointed. We’ll certainly be sharing your feedback with our leadership team. I went here with my fiance so she could get an account opened. We had come in and scheduled an appointment several days ago, but when we arrived we were told that our appointment wasn't on the books. So either the lady messed something up or there was a system error, which I can't account for and this review isn't about. But the guy at the front tried to squeeze us in and we were able to sit down with Kyle Bryant. He was very professional and helpful, and definitely knew what he was doing and was able to navigate our unusual situation (at least it was to me). Thanks!

I called this location 6 times with no answer, because I needed to know if their full service drive-thru teller was available. There was no way for me to find out online if it was open or not. I drove across town, only to find out the drive-thru is shut down. This was during normal business hours, and the rest of the bank was open. I was not able to get the services I required, and was very disappointed no one to answered the phone the many times I called. The customer service at BofA is not comparable with smaller banks or credit unions. I would highly recommend banking elsewhere.

I needed to replace a damaged credit card. I went on the web site, where it stated I could not replace the card online, but had to go to a branch or call the number. I went to this branch and the representative was not very friendly. She stated I would need to call the number. I explained what it stated on the web site and then she said I could "make and appointment" and wait an hour to get my card replaced. It cannot be this hard. She again stated I would need to call the number. I called the number and the automated prompts directed me back to the web site from where I cannot replace this card. Does not compute. Fix your disconnect, BOA. Here I sit waiting for a "call back" from the automated service.
