There is no way we as the people should allow a company like this to continue to exist there MUST be a way to get rid of experian due to the lack of concern, availability, and service, provided by this company there should NOT be a single company in a America that will not or does not have a live call center available or a live rep taking calls. I feel that it’s very shady, very suspicious that there is not one available live rep to take a call in 2022.

These people are responsible for our lives through our credit scores, but they can't rate higher than a 1.3... this is scary beyond words. They make mistakes and we suffer for that.

My report showed a delinquent account which I don’t have, experience hasn’t removed that from my credit and blame AT&T. AT&T say d the sent information that I have not bad credit with them.

The worst response I have ever seen! Wrote letter 2 years ago to subject corporation? two years ago, and have never received a reply. Rating service is the worst. Only followed by Transition and Equifax. Only interested in monthly charges, not accurate reporting.

This is the worst System I’ve ever seen our credit is endangered by these people and then they don’t even want to answer any questions or help you when there’s something going on I need to talk to a person. I have things on my credit report that should not be there

Since I've been on hold now for 35 minutes, waiting to speak to a human, I figured I'd use some of this time to share my experience with Experian. My identity was stolen a few weeks ago, and I was fortunate enough to catch onto it after only one account was opened in my name. Went online to freeze my credit report- TranUnion, simple; Equifax, easy; Experian, next to impossible. I have been unable to put a freeze on my credit online, by phone on the automated system, and so far my only option is to MAIL my full name, social security number, a copy of my drivers license, a utility bill, and other sensitive information to Experian in order to get a freeze put in place! Really, Experian??? I'm trying to lock this down and you want me to send sensitive information to you by mail now??? Hey, while I am at it, maybe I should put a few signed, blank checks; my credit/debit cards; and my pin numbers into the envelope as well! *Update* So, after 72 minutes I was connected to customer service, who then said I needed to be connected to Fraud. After another 24 minute hold I was connected to someone at the fraud department who, I have to admit, was pretty darned helpful. He was knowledgeable and gave me a lot of good information, and ensured my credit report was frozen as well. For that, I give two stars. Had the hold time been reasonable, I'd have given 4 or 5 stars, but 72 minutes before speaking to a human, followed by another 24 minutes before being connected to the correct department is unacceptable in every way imaginable.

Your customer service is horrible!!! The other credit bureaus in the United States are easy to work with online and also on the phone. It is impossible call you on the phone and talk to a human being unless possibly we put in our social security numbers. Which I will not do for a automated according. We wasted half the day I'm trying to talk to someone and gave up. EXPERIAN IS HORRIBLE!!!!! You make it super hard to put a simple freeze on an account oh, other bureaus are easy

Experian is one of the worse company to deal with, i have been trying to remove fraud Alert from my account for almost 7months, no live person would answer my calls, i drove there they sent me away, saying they dont handle personal matters at their Allen location I mailed in documents as required to the same Allen location as stated online, no progress. they have cost me a lot of losses. i may have to take them to court. I KNOW YOU ARE READING THE REVIEWS POSTED. My Last name is Butler you have my recent doc probably thrown somewhere in your office. this is ridicules

There is no way to speak to a live person and JUST to temporarily remove a credit freeze you have to mail in a letter with ALL your credit info (name, SS#, last 2 addresses, PIN id, DL, 2 home bills, and a bank statement). TOTAL WASTE OF TIME... i was directed this way AFTER filling out an online application AND working through all the phone prompts. Ridiculous.

I honestly wouldn't even give this place one star but I had no choice. They have lost or stolen my wife and sons social security and other credentials. They claim the envelope arrived with no information. My wife mailed this envelope double sealed and with a signature required. DO NOT SEND YOUR INFORMATION HERE OR IT WILL DISAPPEAR.

I have been trying to get into Experian website but after I answer the questions and put my SSN I was kicked out with an oops message. I cannot get anyone on the phone. I did a mail request found there are errors on my report but have not way to get help. One of the errors is a company I never missed a payment and the account is paid and close shows I have been in collection for the last 5 months. They have the power to ruin your credit and no phone number for the public contact them.

I received an alert asking had I moved and informed that a new address had been added to my account. Trying to remove an unknown address from my account has been impossible.

The only Credit Bureau out of the 3 that intentionally refuses to pick up the phone. All i wanted to do was remove my fraud alert. TransUnion and Equifax, i completed over the phone in just 5 minutes. Experian, they force you to send your Bank Statement, Driver License, Utility Bill, and a written Letter just to remove an alert that will end up taking approximately 4 days to clear in the mail. I spent the entire day digging through papers and looking for places to scan and copy documents just for this lazy company. Now they have all my Bank information, and all my personal information. I wouldn’t be surprised if they use that information to commit fraud. That pretty much sums up this company.

How can they be so bad?! They have my name wrong (changed 7 years ago with SSA and all companies) and can't update it, so I can't pass security checks for anyone using Experian information to verify my identity. They provide me with phone numbers that are for private companies you have to enroll with, and when you contact the toll-free number listed online you only receive the automated system which doesn't offer you anything beyond security alerts and security freezes.

Trying to do a cash out at bank but the credit report they pull is 120 points lower than what I pulled online. I was told to contact experience but when I call the number given online it is all animation and at NO POINT DID IT EVER ALLOW ME TO TALK TO A PERSON. I NEED TO TALK TO A PERSON TO FIGURE OUT WHAT IS GOING ON, AND I FLAT OUT CANNOT DO SO DUE TO THEIR ANIMATION. HOW IN THE WORLD CAN I TALK TO SOMEONE AT EXPERIENCE?? THIS IS FRUSTRATION.

How is this not illegal to never be available to resolve issues with a third party that handles our identity. America is literally an embarrassment to the way of life. A prisoner to their incredibly flawed and ineffective system of robots, outdated processes, and disingenuous approach to their citizens. It’s absolutely ridiculous that a company that mortgage companies and everyone else rely on to validate the credibility of someone, had ONE star and it’s constantly decreasing. Can they not be held accountable? What is this?? Is the BBB not interfering to get some responses, government officials, CFPB, hell somebody. How are you over our identity, but too incompetent to ensure it’s correct or that someone is available to rectify they errors.

Experian is the worst company to deal with, i have been trying to remove fraud Alert from my account for weeks, I drove to an Experian office in town and they sent me away, saying they dont handle personal matters at their location. Finally got to talk to a real person by phone by tricking the automated system and they told me their policy wouldn’t allow them to unfreeze my account and that I would have to mail in all my credentials. I overnight mailed in documents as required to the Allen location as stated online over a week ago and no progress. I’m in another state trying to buy or rent a place to live for work. Luckily I have someone that can check my mail in my home state. I have been stuck in a hotel costing me $1,000’s

This organization should be prohibited from participating in credit related data gathering and distribution. It seems they can deny credit in seconds, but i requested a credit report from them nearly 6 months ago and I've heard nothing back at all. Terrible company. I will support any and all legislatures seeking to remove federal contracts and considerations from this company.

First of all Google pay Attention you did not catch the mistake made? The adress says clearly in writting 701 and the building in bold print black numbers 601. If i put a business on google Maps I must be registered and certified. You send me a post card with my speacial pin code. Why is it this particular business that has my sensative info allowed to be listed in Google Maps with the wrong address. And why am i giving my sensative information. And Experian why are your workers; in Brazil answering my Identity issues and hang up when I ask questions. MARK ID NUMBER 032459 if this even is who you are. Needs a check. Ive just been a victim of identity theft with the identity theft protection company. Are you kidding me?

Ok, why did I receive my "supposed" credit report in the wrong name with wrong information? Something that the government claims so important to be handled so carelessly.

Good grief this place is terrible to get any help!.Received my credit scores thru a company that monitors my credit and TXU and Equifax gave me my usual excellent rating, Have always had an excellent rating with Experian but this time they put me in the "good" category! No remarks for anything on my credit report. Called my monitoring system and they said to contact Experian. Well I tried and after many attempts I finally got a live person who sent me to another dept. That dept sent me to another dept. THAT dept said since I was NOT a member of their club they would NOT help me! I tried and tried to find someone who could tell me why the drop in score but they said NO--have to be a member! Looks like they can do any darn thing they want and as customers we are left out in the dark unless we belong to their "club" .Didn't want to give them the one star but forced to. Now I feel that since I wrote this ,my score will go even lower!!! Maddening!

I’m not pleased with Experian’s Customer Service after being a loyal member for several years now. Experian went ahead and cancelled my membership today because my credit card info has changed and Experian were not able to bill me. Instead of notifying me to update my billing info, they went ahead and cancelled my membership. I didn’t get a chance to update my credit card information because I didn’t receive the new card yet. I was on promotional price but after calling Experian today, they refused to reinstate my memebership for the same price and asked for more money. Is this how you treat your customers? Bad customer service!!!

I don’t have to say much because the reviews speak for themselves. For those having trouble reaching someone you have to press 2 for the business department then ask to be routed to personal consumer

I downloaded the mobile app and had no issues. But all of a sudden a credit card I don't even use anymore or have, has been getting membership fees drafted from experian I've never entered this card info anywhere. My bank has disputed the claim and hopefully all goes well but this place should really be shut down immediately!

I subscribed to the monitoring service two years ago, but cancelled a year later. About 4 months after I cancelled the subscription, I realized that Experian was still charging me. So I called and explained the situation and asked for a refund. I was told there would be no refund, because it "Doesn't matter if you cancelled, if Experian didn't except the cancellation". Four days later, an overdue debt showed up on my report dropping my score A LOT. So it seems Some Radiologist said I owed $150 for an ER xray. THE LAST TIME I WENT TO THE ER was 2006! #parkingdebtsisillegal

I submitted a discrepancy about a month ago via my online account. I have heard nothing. I had a bankruptcy that should b removed & my credit adjusted accordingly. Nothing has happened! I submitted the report to Trans Union & the next day it was resolved. Can someone please get on this.

absolute JOKE! I've never been so furious with customer support in my life! I have called the contact number which when you look for more contact information I've found a total of 3 different numbers to call so far. collectively I've tried talking to someone 7 different times within a 20 minute period. I've gotten as far as talking to A LIVE PERSON twice and she immediately hung up on me and when asking to speak to a supervisor she forwarded me to a completely different service! I can't "chat" with anyone online because their "closed" but yet you can get 1 person who answers the phone. I want a refund of my money RIGHT NOW! This whole thing is a F**KING scam! I would highly suggest just using credit karma which is a completely free service to monitor your credit and tells you ways to fix you credit as well! After reading some of the reviews I'm glad I didn't drive to Allen location otherwise this situation would have gotten more heated!

Am I living in the 90’s? I have to literally mail physical paper with proof of ID in order to unfreeze my credit? They claim you can accomplish this via phone or online but that is absolutely false. The other 2 credit bureaus are simple and straightforward but experian makes you jump through so many hoops it’s absolutely infuriating. Very shady practices going on here.
