Excellent pawn shop! Best place around to buy jewelry as well. They also work with an excellent jeweler for sizing and customization needs. I bought my husband a gold nugget charm years ago. I took it there and the jeweler mounted 2 diamonds into the charm. Just the way I pictured it! Thank you so much and I will be a customer for life!

I have dealt with these guys several times and they are very professional and more importantly, very flexible. I went through a pretty rough time and was unable to make a payment one month. I called and they were very understanding and allowed me the extra time to get my payment into them. They understood how important my ring is to me and were very willing to work with me. Most pawn shops have zero leniency but these guys are awesome! They are laid back and fun to interact with. They also give very fair prices for pawn or loan items. I strongly recommend these guys for anyone that may be looking for some quick cash for a few weeks or are looking to clear out some old items. You won't be sorry. This Is my favorite pawn shop in the state of Maryland the owner is very friendly and a ladies man with all the older women. And the two other guys they are so sweet and caring and always smiling. They always help me when I need it most I feel like they have become friends more then workers to me and that is what we need more of in this 🌎 they do not take older items but if you build credit with them they might work with you so don’t worry! My boyfriend and I have been coming to this pawn shop for many years. He has bought many tools here, we recently bought a Wii U here, and just got my wedding set here, as well. They are very knowledgeable, and always friendly. They are willing to negotiate pricing which is always a plus. I absolutely LOVE this pawn shop. Keep up the good work guys!!!

2 times in last month I stopped in. First time walked out after looking at $1500 worth of electronics because I was being treated rudely by employee. 2nd time was today where I was asked to put a mask on. So I did with no complaint from me. Same Employee made rude remarks towards me after I complied. I left without looking at the $600 of purchases I was about to make. Rude service costs money. Do NOT shop hear and reward stores for allowing rude employees. You pay their salaries. They need to realize this.

Let first start this by saying if you're in a jam or strapped for cash, Essex Pawn is by far the BEST shop in the area to do business with. The staff members are incredibly helpful, professional, and honest. They also have an excellent assortment of goods at great prices. They've made a customer for life here.
