Equity Bank N Maguire St, Warrensburg

Equity Bank is a user friendly bank in that they treat you like a human. I started banking with them 9 years ago with a checking account and have continued to this day. I now live 600 miles away and continue to bank with Equity because of the great features. First, when traveling overseas Equity converts to the local currency with no fee. It is also very easy to use a foreign ATM with Equity. I was able to get in touch with a human when I have had difficulties in a quick manner. The mobile deposit app is easy and convenient to deposit checks via phone. Equity Bank seems to be one of the few banks that treat you like a family member in not having fees for using banking services like ATMs and make you not have to think twice about using their products. Really would recommend Equity Bank for their checking account. Humanistic quality. Thank you

Came in to exchange some bills, but was told I needed to have an account. Which is understandable, and I was happy to do. However, the teller was completely disinterested in helping me after I told her I did not currently bank with her employer. I went down to Central Bank. They were very polite and helpful.

Family has banked with for years to find out they are processing bigger PPP loans and have minimum amounts they are accepting so declining ours and not helping small local businesses out. Also been very rude on the phone and not willing to work with our family.

I have multiple accounts at several different banks and I am no longer interested in continuing to do business with equity. I have one checking account here so I can keep our two businesses, farm, and personal spending separate for tax purposes. My equity checking account gets used very little, at times there’s no activity for weeks at a time. The fees here are ridiculous!!! More fees than any of our other banks. I called and spoke to a rep and she couldn’t even give me a good reason to stay with equity. That’s alarming. It’s a hassle to close this act and move elsewhere as it’s linked to specific PayPal, Venmo acts, etc. However, I’d rather keep my money vs paying ridiculous monthly bank fees. Proceed with this bank cautiously. If they try to sell you with the perk of their convenience app, surprise! All banks have an app for mobile banking- this is 2019. Adios, equity, I’m out ✌🏼

They are choosing to only submit SBA Payment Protection Loans which will make them a profit when forgiven. Loans over $5000. All applications below that amount are being ignored as they aren’t worth the time and paperwork. Horrible way to treat your customers.

Sarah and Jarren have both been so helpful to me setting up accounts and later making changes to those accounts. Very knowledgeable and friendly folks!
