Emory Federal Credit Union Clairmont Rd, Decatur

I’ve been banking with Emory Credit Union for over 15 years now, I love it so much. The staff is excellent in handling any of your needs as a customer. Thank you so much Emory Credit Union.

This is the worse Credit Union/bank I have ever used, and I have lived all over the US. Their credit card service is really pathetic. I have used their CC since the 1980s, I have a high credit limit that I never exceed, I pay my bills automatically and on time, but recently they have been putting holds on the card for supposed fraud. This is ironic because they are questioning low-level charges to businesses in the same town where I live. Then, when I call the toll-free number on the CC, they say I have to call the credit union directly, and they don't have a 24-h number. They close at ca. 4:00 EST, as if EST is the only time zone. Unacceptable business model. CHASE and other credit cards have 24-h credit card services.

They no longer answer the phone in the office. I was directed to a call center and they knew absolutely nothing! I was told I would receive a call back in 1 business day and up until today I'm still waiting.

The online password reset process is the worst I've ever experienced. Do you think anyone with authority reads this reviews and suggest an upgrade?

I don’t remember the rep that assisted me however her service was excellent. After visiting the main branch because my card wasn’t work and told that it was just my pin. I then had to go to the main campus for assistance only to find out my card had been blocked because of possible fraud. Happy the rep explained to me in detail what happened and what to expect. She also put a rush on my new card. I wish I remembered the reps name. I will definitely come to this location from now on.

I was at a car dealership attempting to get a new car financed and tried calling them. They no longer take calls at the branch. They have an answering service that doesn’t have account information and the answering service pretends they are getting you over to the back. Instead they are sending emails to the branch to call customers back. I never received a call back.

Useless! Needed to speak to someone at my local branch and they would not answer the phone. Call center could not give me a direct number. I have done business with them for years. I will be changing that shortly.

Nothing is easy with this bank. No one is ever able to help or provide insight. All the pains of a big bank with none of the rewards.

They don’t have a working number. Ridiculous. I have been trying to call the branch for weeks
