Had a lower transfered. Young guy helping me was cool. Tall, old, big-bellied guy that finished my paperwork was a jerk for no reason. Very unprofessional. Will not recommend, will not be giving any more business to them.

First time here and it was awesome! Found exactly what I was looking for and it was the right price! The staff is awesome too! Our salesman Samuel Kirkland was so helpful and knowledgeable! Great team of people who are very knowledgeable on wide range of firearms and their limitations and the laws regarding modifications (thanks Josh). Nice selection of firearms and jewelry and have purchased both from friendly staff (Lucy and Melissa respectively - thanks ladies). Got great trade-in value on a S&W40 for a Glock 22 (thanks Doug). I have to say I had a great experience and this was my first time in the store. I was waited on by a couple of different people and everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Lucy Hagan helped me with my purchase and went above and beyond in my opinion. I usually feel pressured at a store but she was professional and did not pressure me in any way.

As a woman, I decided I needed some protection. I signed up for classes and went shopping for a gun just for me. (My husband owns many). I traveled from Chattanooga area to here because it was recommended to me. I was looking for something I could handle and feel comfortable with. Elk River Trading Post had an excellent selection. Andy was very patient and helpful in helping me choose the right one. Explaining everything to me and how it worked. Everyone in the store was extremely nice. Would definitely recommend buying from here.

We stopped in to check out this retailer. I have driven by 1000 times and had never stopped. EVERY employee we encountered was down to earth, friendly and knowledgeable. I ended up buying two guns. Lucy was awesome!! She helped with the paperwork and was a pleasure to do business with. Great attitude and funny sense of humor. This will be my #1 stop for guns, ammo, supplies etc. from now on.

Yesterday was my first experience with ERTC and I will say out of the 7 gun/pawn shops I visited yesterday and others over the last month long search for a new edc. Elk River Trading scored 5 stars across the board with me. Mr. Sam K. was the man and was very helpful during this purchase and was a pleasure chatting with him and gaining a little bit more knowledge. Their firearms aren't overpriced, they give fair and top dollars trade in value that you could expect to get anywhere else on firearms and I couldn't be happier with my purchase and the price was way lower than 2 other places sale price. Will definitely be doing more business with this company in the future and I highly recommend you check them out. Thank you elk river trading company... I just stopped, to pickup some ammo and met "Gunner" a employee who not only helped me but was able to guide my wife into a gun that we would have never looked at for her... Josh was also kind and honestly great to help us with the out of state transfer.. I could not thank these two kind employees enough. It's great doing business with people who genuinely enjoy educating others into the best decision for there individual needs!!!!

As soon as I waked into the Elk River Trading Company I was approached by Samuel Kirkland. It was immediately obvious that he was knowledgeable about firearms. He’s was helpful but not pushy like salesmen can be at times. He’s the reason that I came back to the store several days later and purchased a rifle. I made the purchase over the phone with Lucy Hagan. Simply put, she is the reason I’ll be back again. Each of them were fun to talk with and very intelligent and experienced with firearms. I can only assume that the rest of the staff is just as helpful and familiar with the guns they have in stock. It was a great experience!

We went to Elk River today which is about 30 minutes from my hometown in Winchester TN. Let me tell you this place is incredible and highly recommended A++++++ all the way . The gentlemen behind the counter was awesome the friendliest staff ever, the younger fellow Andy that was directly helping me was fantastic. Not to mention the selection and the prices where the best I've seen in a 50 mile radius. If you looking for guns or ammo and much more go by and give these guys a chance you want be disappointed.

I LOVE this store! I have purchased several items here and they are always priced right. It's hard for me to get out without putting a new gun on layaway. They always seem to have what I want. Lucy ROCKS!! If you go in, tell her her favorite hypnotherapist sent you.

I have purchased 2 hand guns and 4 rifles from this place. They are always friendly and helpful. I have dealt with Lucy most times and she always makes the process of purchasing easy. I moved recently and my drivers license has my old address. I did not have proof of my new address and she recommended to go to the DMV website, change my address there and email her the verification. I would never have thaught of that. If you are looking on buying a gun. I would definitely recommend this place.

We have been in a few times to buy ammo , the staff is always so very friendly! The other day my husband took me in and I bought my first Ruger 9... Let me say Sam Kirkland and Lucy were the absolute best ! They took time to talk to us and showed me exactly what I needed to know.... Lucy even talked my husband in to buying a purse for me..lol! First time I went in was to get a pistol for my wife that has problems with her hand , they hooked her up with the perfect pistol for her a S&W EZ 380. I went back the next week and bought the 9mm shield.. since then we’ve bought a couple thousand rounds of ammo! I love this shop they spend as much time as you need to take care of you! Today I messaged them 2 hours before opening time to see if they had any 6.5 creedmoor rifles in stock. With in 15 minutes I got a reply. They told me every brand they had in that caliber and the starting price! Folks that is customer service! They left me alone while I looked over the rifles/ no pressure sales! When I picked up the one I decided on Lucy Hagan was quietly waiting and I said this one😁! She put up with my shenanigans while I picked ammo for it out and helped on ammo selection for a .45 my buddy needs (he can’t find ammo in Grundy county). she quickly got to work on the paper work and had us heading out the very quick.... she even offered to help carry out the hundred pounds of ammo I got! Folks if you are looking ammo do not go there! I want to save it for myself! 9mm always in stock 380 always in stock 45 always in stock 556 90% of the time in stock And I they’re out of stock on 556 they always have 223! After Lucy and Sam’s help we now have another rifle and two pocket/backup pistols.
