    Started account before my child was born to give to her at age 18. Every year 1-3x, I have , mysterious charges appear $100-338 at a time. I do not use her account to shop online. I mainly use it to pay daycare. The paperwork and time it takes to get your money back when IT shouldn’t have happened to begin with is frustrating. For a bank, they have some sorry security measures and I will be banking elsewhere. With a bank that actually cares about its customers and has protective measures.

    Truly the worst bank I’ve ever had to deal with. I’m closing my account that I’ve had since I was a teenager due to the lack of care for their account members. Worst customer service I’ve ever had and called them for an issue and they said and I quote “is this truly Amea that I’m speaking too” and had me on a wild goose chase looking for stuff to verify that it was me. Fix y’all’s attitudes before y’all don’t have a bank anymore. I’ve had nothing but trouble with them and all of the other reviews are true. All of the old ladies that work there are seriously Karen’s and give me bad looks when I walk in there for NO REASON!!! USAA is the way to go!

    Thank you to Riley B. for making my experience smooth and easy with opening an account and getting an auto loan. 30 minutes and I was out the door with a rate significantly lower than I could find anywhere else.

    Predatory business practices. Tremendously unethical institution. Calls their NSF fees "convenience fees". Reprehensible stuff, to say the least. They profit off the poor. Time for these dinosaurs to go extinct.

    Poor customer service. I've made several complaints about their Bill Payer Service and was basically told, "not our problem" as they are contracted out. Really? You hired them!

    I’ve been banking here for at least 10 years. I called to discuss two strange (hidden) fees and was bounced from one agitated representative to another. The first consistently interrupted me before pushing my call to someone else. The second let the line go dead several times by simply not responding to my questions, to the point I would say ‘hello?’ then hear ‘yeah I’m still here’. Because they were unable to explain an inconsistency, I was asked to spout off elements of my banking history (from over 3 years ago) to verify my credibility. It was disappointing to be treated like someone with malicious intent after being a loyal, stable member for a decade. I had been thinking of moving banks due to outdated services/technology, and I think this affirms that choice.

    This bank is horrible. There customer service is non existent. We called for a fraud claim and they blamed us. The merchant was a scam. Admitted it was a scam. We proved to the bank proof. And they have done nothing. 240.00 stolen out of the account. Darnell was rude and unpleasant. The first two representatives would not even tell me there names. When talk to a Darnell he said I can not talk to the branch manager. This bank is horrible. I would put my money under a bridge with a homes bum before letting them hold another penny.

    Sadly, the level of competency continues to decline. That’s not to say there are good people there, but they need training and coaching. Their knowledge of finance and risk is unique.

    First rate service even from afar. I have been a member for about 10 years now and have used them for over 10 car loans, savings accounts, etc. I live out of state but have stayed an active member because the service is amazing, personal, really great people. It has also given me financial freedom and available credit that I would not have had as easy access to. Why would even deal with a bank when they can be apart of such a great organization that truly puts its members first. I do look forward to them expanding the online platform options, but I can always get them on the phone when I need to.
