Didn't purchase my vehicle at Edward's Chevy, but I still need to leave this review. Was doing a long distant purchase over the phone and John Short was more than helpful. Went as far as trying to locate me what I was looking for closer. What dealership would do this? I put a deposit down with him but before the vehicle arrived one in my town became available. I asked if I could back out and to my surprise John Short was happy for me that I was able to find one closer. He was so great to deal with. I wish more dealerships were as easy to deal with as Edward's Chevy. Thanks for everything John!!

Matt billions and Matt the finance manager were absolutely fantastic during the process of getting a new vehicle. Matt billions gave us space and let us look at a few vehicles on our own before coming up to speak with us which was very refreshing compared to previous car buying experience with being flocked by salesmen’s the moment you pull into the dealership. Matt was very friendly and also respected that we had a 3 month old with us and gave us time and privacy when we needed to feed or change her. Matt the finance manager was super friendly and was able to start and complete paperwork very quickly while explaining everything in detail. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking to buy a vehicle.

Sheryl is so honest and so gracious. We had no hope of getting a new car until an ad came in the mail for Edward's Chevrolet. Gave them a call and within a few days Mr. Darrian Carter had a list of available options for me and my family. I went from zero options to several!! Not very good customer service to allow someone who has been communicating with your sales rep for 2 days regarding a trade in drive 2 hours and 30 minutes to only tell them 18 minutes before arrival that someone walked in and you were selling the vehicle to them. Absolutely ridiculous.

Michael Johnson was was not pushy and very friendly. He was able to get me what I wanted with the demand of trucks being the way it is. I bought my truck on the night of major flooding. I drove in from Atlanta to Birmingham to find a great, well cared for pre owned Corvette and they were absolutely worth the drive, the communication prior to seeing the car from Jennifer, Forrest and Alex was thorough, professional and honest. The process did take a little longer than expected but they did ensure everything was delivered perfect and well worth the wait. Overall everyone was amazing and the product, service and value will make me come back again.. it may be a 3 hour drive, however when you consider how long you own a car for and how much you invest in that car,, a few hour drive for a great dealership was absolutely worth it

I don't post reviews often but their level of professionalism is truly amazing. They made an appointment to look at my car under warranty for water damage the next business day, had it looked at by an expert. Had it fixed and back to me the next day with complimentary shuttle service. Out the door and didn't pay a dime, definitely going back for any issues and servicing in the future.

We had a great sales person, and got what we thought was an excellent deal on our new truck, ask for Tariq, he is a really great person to deal with, he did his best to communicate with me throughout the entire process. We are 3.5 hours from the dealership and did most of the communication through phone and email. After dealing with several local dealerships in my area with less than satisfactory communication or lack of communication, Tariq was great. Very unpleasant experience 9/18/2021. I arrived at the dealer at 8:30 am and asked the service advisor if they had time to put a set of tires on my Silverado. Her response was yes. I was still at the dealership at 1pm. The advisor told me that they had lot of appointments. I told her that she should have told me that up front and I would have made other arrangements. This is totally unacceptable. Customer Service is gone. I have been a loyal customer at Edward's over the years. However, I do have a choice now. I won't be back, lost customer.

My tire sensor went out and I did not know what was going on, if my tire was going flat or what. I came in on Saturday morning and Sheryl was great!!!!! She figured out the problem and fixed it quickly and I was was able to make it to my nephews ballgame in time. Y’all saved the day.

Only complaint is I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. I left with a new filter that I wasnt asked if I needed to purchase. I think that has happened on both visits. I would at least like to be asked if I want that. Basically you are stealing $10 per visit because you are spending my money without asking.

It was the easiest and most hassle free car buying experience I have ever had the pleasure of doing. I have purchased a few vehicles in my lifetime and this was by far the best. Matt Billions is great! He took his time with not only for myself but my daughter that was with me in showing us the truck, the features and the seating to ensure it was the right fit for us. Matt followed up with us later with no pressure at all. After purchase, he then took the extra time to assist me in setting up the blue tooth and the Onstar. I dropped my 2007 Chevy Avalanche there last week to get a BCM programmed for $100. I was good with that. Then I get a call the next day and there were more electrical issues and it would now be $390. I told Ben that I needed the electrical issues fixed, so do it. A few days later I get a call from Ben and he said I was ready. I get there and now the total is $551. I did not have time to argue really and paid it. We go out to get in the vehicle and the instrument lights did not come on. I was none too happy to discover this as that was why I brought it to them in the first place. Then he tells me if I want that fixed, it will be $375 more.. I'm like, what kind of racket is this. My friend was dismayed as well. We get the truck a mile down the road and open the hood to discover the ECM is just laying there not mounted and could have fell down into the belt or other moving parts and done a ton of damage. I call and they had me bring back. When my friend takes it back up there, they seemed perturbed to have to do it. You start at 100, then 390, then 551, and don't fix what all I needed done, leave my ECM dangling loose, and you guys are perturbed?? The audacity of these guys to act that way! Wouldn't in a million years expect to receive this type of service from a Chevy dealership! Garbage!

My experience with Edward CHEVROLET service department was very good. I dropped my car off 1 hour earlier than my scheduled appointment due a personal schedule change and they did not have any problem with the early arrival. The representative was so nice he waited for me to get myself together and he quickly took care of me with any problem. I bought this car 7 years ago from Edwards Chevrolet and all I have done is kept the scheduled maintenance and tires. My grandfather introduced me to Edwards Chevrolet over 30 years ago and I never had a better experience.

Warning!! This place does not care for its customers. Especially the service manager Chris and one of the advisers Tim. I had an insurance claim on my ‘18 Equinox recently, and they still have it almost 6 weeks later only because they want money that was not approved by my insurance company. They have been holding my car hostage while my rental car cost have been racking up like crazy just to hopefully get insurance to crack and pay what they did not approve. You all have been warned! Stay away from this place at all cost. Don’t say I didn’t tell you so.

The vehicle had less than 700 miles. It had to be towed to Edwards because it was the closest dealership. The check engine light came on and was driven probably 30 seconds until shut off. When the service department called they said it was bad gas and the cost to fix was $2300.00 and not covered under warranty. They said the valves, rings, fuel pump, cleaning, etc would need to be done and it might be more. I told the gentleman to go ahead and fix. He then calls back about 3 min later and says they might can just clean the lines and it will be OK. A day later I call and they say they replaced the fuel pump and all is good. As a point of advice I would probably do more research before quoting a price to the consumer. I felt that I was trying to be scammed and had even called the dealership I purchased from and they offered to come get it with no charge for a second opinion because there service manager said there was no way based off the time driven it should have cause $2300.0 worth of damage.

Somehow, the advertised price always substantially increases every time I take my vehicle in for maintenance - this time from $69 to $89. Edwards Chevrolet definitely seems to be on the high end in terms of price, which makes it very hard to go back there again. Plus, I never consented to being bombarded with text messages simply because I gave them a phone number they could call when my vehicle was ready to pick up. Disappointing things like this is why car dealerships have such a negative stigma and bad stereotype.

Used them recently for repairs. I was concerned as I have been done wrong in the past. They were very good at talking everything out with me and having me speak with a technician for further confirmation. Finding a good mechanic you can trust is hard, but I feel I was treated fairly and with respect. What they diagnosed is exactly what I had researched prior to visit. I was also recommended to them by another dealership . I will definitely use them again. Bonus they are super close to my home.

This has been the Hottest 2 weeks of the year and My AC was not preforming as it should with my 2000 Chevy Truck. Tried other repair places no luck getting service this week. Took a chance on Edwards I’ve been pleased before with their service. Sir we have an opening tomorrow at 8:00 , I jumped on it. Left it over night. By the end of the day they called with the problem, solution and cost. Pick it up the next day “ awe cold air”. Good customer from the 1st phone call till checkout. I like my Edwards Service.

I went new this time 2022 TAHOE My salesman was great ... after 24 hours of having the car I noticed a scratch on my wheel and slit in my drivers side back tire ... I called the salesperson and was told to not worry about it it was covered under warranty... to wait 30 days... Forrest was absolutely amazing! Having a 1 month old and 1 year old, we were very short on time. We also live an hour away. He made sure we were in and out while also giving us top dollar for our trade in, while at the same time putting us in something bigger and saving us some money. We brought our Tahoe in a few weeks ago for air conditioner problems. They told us that our valves, hoses and condenser were the problem. We paid over 2,000 to have it fixed. We brought it back in two weeks later because the air still wasn’t working correctly. Now they want another 3,500 to replace the evaporator core. I feel like the problem was not diagnosed correctly from the beginning and they are just wasting our money. Our Tahoe was purchased brand new from Edward’s in 2017 and we should not be having all of these issue. The service is horrible! Alex and the other guy that was there are horrible and treated me bad seems to me because I was a woman. I went in on Saturday because my check engine light came on for my 2022 Trailblazer and when I first came I was completely ignored. Then finally Alex asked me how can he help me. I told him my check engine light was on and he said why? I said I don't know. So he stated he was going to check to see if an alert was on it and then he asked his co-worker to see if the code was cleared. He never told me if the something read on the code never acknowledged me again. His co-worker told me the code was clear. I had to ask did they see anything. I was told no. He said if it comes back on let them know and sent me on my way. A few hours later it was back on I ended up going to an auto parts store and they checked it and they told me what the code was and that it's normally due to the gas cap being open but since the gas cap was securely on then there could be an issue with the cap itself or something else. So he suggested I take it to the dealership because it's still under warranty. UPDATE: I called Kevin Liles on 3/16/2022 @ 4:29 pm CT and got his voicemail. And I left him a message with my contact information. As of today, March 22, 2022, Kevin Liles has not returned my call.

Update/. Make sure you are close enough to pick up copies of your paperwork because as of today, 3/8/22, I have not received mine. Apparently that is something that is not important to them because I have called so many times and had to leave voicemails that do not get returned, sent multiple text messages, and now whoever the chick is answering the phone doesn’t seem to be cut out for customer service. I told her I really needed to talk to someone because they do not return calls but I guess that was too much work for her. They had been great with everything, aside from giving me a copy of my paperwork. I understand people get busy, but it’s to the point now that it is ridiculous. it’s been 3 months.

We were offered a low (but fair) value for our trade-in vehicle. When the original vehicle we considered was out of our price range, they found an excellent substitute for us in a used vehicle. We are VERY pleased with the substitute vehicle and with the deal we were offered and accepted. The only down side of our purchase was the inordinately long period of time it took to prepare the paperwork necessary to consummate the deal. Were it not for that delay, we would have given all 5-star ratings. Though other dealerships are more convenient to our home, we will continue to deal with Edwards Chevrolet for service needs and for other vehicles if we should trade again.

I have shopped here in the past and was ok. But this experience was different. I have a mediocre credit score. My sales rep was Guillermo Galindo. In my opinion I was shopping for something beyond my budget. Guillermo even after I told him my credit score treated me like a cash buyer. The biggest difference I saw is when I was signing the papers he was the first sales rep I ever saw that was in there. Sat there, never said a word but was there. The entire process he treated me exceptionally. If you need a car or just want one, go see him at Edwards off 280. Regardless of your situation he will treat you exceptionally well. It made a difference to me, it probably will to you.

After a horrible visit at another local Chevrolet dealership, I was very skeptical about continuing my search for a 2021 Tahoe. The people who took care of my truck are great and are very professional at what they do. First of all they met me at the door with a smile and called by my name. I had gotten to the service department about 25 minutes early, and they took care of me. They covered my seat with plastic and put my truck in line, to be serviced. I know when I bring my vehicle in to be serviced, that it is in the best hands. The people that work at Edwards Chevrolet help you with all your needs. AVOID the service department at all cost. Changed my oil…. My oil drain plug was missing gasket seal missing. Car was super low on break fluid and radiator reservoir was completely empty after their “chevyman package “ they made me get with the car. Had have my car towed to my house then to another dealership to fix their mistakes. I live almost 2 hours from this dealership I drove home with oil LEAKING and had NO IDEA they paid the other dealership to fix it. Brought It back to them because my car is NOT driving right. No explanation nothing I waited 3 hours last Friday to have it done. So I they had me sit for 3 hours to just mess up my car… do yourself the favor of avoiding this place so you don’t have to contact a lawyer.

From the time I entered the dealership the lies began. The most severe of which was the false advertising of the MSRP. Not only did the vehicle not possess a Monroney Sticker (despite the outline of tape on the inside of the window where it once was affixed), but when I asked why the Tahoe was more expensive than others I had seen, the salesman (Lee House) started pointing items out on the vehicle telling me they cost extra. These items were stock items consistent with the trim level of the vehicle. I also asked for an invoice in lieu of the sticker and he said that the dealership did not possess one. He said both of these items were at the train station. I also asked if the vehicle had an inflationary adjustment to which I was told no. My wife and I were told that vehicles had been market up by $5,000.00 for out of state buyers to keep inventory local, but in State buyers did not have to pay the increase. When I told the salesperson that the MSRP according to the website was $5,000 lower, he responded that the lower MSRP was after rebates and incentives and that the actual price of the vehicle was $5,000 higher because I didn't qualify for rebates. Through investigative work I found a sticker on the Chevrolet website for what I thought at the time was a similar vehicle. The salesperson then said there was a computer glitch that caused Tahoe's and trucks to be listed at $5,000 higher on their company website but that should not have happened and they were looking into getting it fixed. Update: It is still not fixed, because it was never a glitch. I then asked if I could buy the vehicle at the sticker price (assumed price, because the vehicle lacked one) and he said that a customer just showed up to buy it and he would call me back when he determined how far into the process they were. I then received a text message telling me that the General Manager "Kevin" had just sold the two Tahoe's I was interested in. He went on to tell me that not only did he sell them, but he sold them each for $10,500 over the sticker price. He then told me that if I wanted it and since we were good customers, he could sell it to me for $2,500.00 over "sticker" but I had to make a decision because a dealership from Texas had just bought them. With this text he provided me with a suspicious looking screenshot of a piece of paper which supposedly showed this dealership paying $10,500.00 over sticker. I should add that the purchase request lacked any identifying information for both the dealership and the vehicle itself. This appears to have been fabricated to further the lie and apply undue pressure. Due to the currently low inventory and the fraudulent sales techniques designed to impede my ability to make an informed decision, I purchased the vehicle for $2,500.00 over the sticker. I still have yet to receive the Monroney Sticker. This whole experience could have been avoided with the truth. When I confronted the salesman about the lies, he did not deny it. Due to deceptive sales practices and potentially illegal activity I will not recommend this dealership to anyone purchasing a vehicle.

Most things regarding the service were good. But then today my anti-theft tripped and since this was electrical service, I assume something that was done tripped something with my anti-theft system and now my car has to be towed back in for more maintenance. Will never purchase a Chevy vehicle again due to all the problems this 2015 Cruze has given me in the ~4 years I have owned it. Additionally the customer service rep I spoke too, to get this straightened out tried to extort me by saying they only help people with anti-theft issues remotely if you pay for a subscription. "That's a nice car you have there, be a shame if something happened to it." I am quite disillusioned with the entire process. Edit: After re-reading my review I want to make it clear the customer service rep I referred in the second paragraph was a Chevy corporate service rep not affiliated with Edwards directly. All the service associates I dealt with at Edwards were excellent and did everything they could to help resolve the issues.

My experience at Edward Cheverlot was weird. I looked at a car then was told it was already sold. Then it ended up not being sold but I didn’t qualify to buy it. I didn’t feel welcomed when I first got there. BUT I would go back because of my sales man Henry Do. He approached me when no one else did. He made the experience exciting. Even as I waited for hours, he patiently waited and so badly wanted me to get the car I wanted. I really appreciate the care and pride he takes in his job. I know he will go so far as long as he doesn’t let anyone take his awesome personality away! You can definitely go to cheverlot but ask for Mr.Henry Do!

I bought a 2021 Silverado 1500 Trail Boss LT and it was absolutely the best car-buying experience I've had. I called ahead of time for an appointment, arrived 45 minutes later and they had already pulled the truck to the front for me. I met with Justin Smith AKA Super J. He was very friendly and professional. Asked me if I had any questions about the truck and allowed me to walk around and look at the truck..he didn't hover over me or pressure me in any way. Then it came down to "working the numbers" . Understanding this is a business and knowing what I was willing to pay, Super J was very accommodating and we agreed on a more-than-fair price. No hidden fees, just straight forward numbers and total transparency. Finance office didn't try to sell me anything like insurance or the other add-ons you would expect. Took less than 10 minutes in the finance office! Justin had the car detailed and fueled up before I left. I drove off knowing I got a great truck for a fantastic price. They even turned in my rental car for me! I will certainly be buying my cars/trucks in the future with Edwards Chevrolet 280..and I'll ask for Justin Smith (SUPER J).

My experience at Edwards Chevrolet on 280 was awesome! It's been really hard to find 2022 SUVs on the lot, so I had to order my vehicle. I was initially shopping for a 2022 Ford Expedition as I was upgrading from a 2017 Expedition, but the wait time was 4-5 months. I had been eyeing the Tahoe, so I decided to begin shopping for a Chevy instead. I owned a Tahoe before and fell in love with the dual thermostats. Much to my surprise, the wait time on a Chevy order is 2 weeks...not 4-5 months! My new vehicle arrived a week before Christmas and I'm more than happy! James Hurt, my sales manager, ensured that all of my needs were met and he consistently kept me updated on the progress of my vehicle. And as for Matt Lamb, no one does finance like Matt does Finance. Their APRs were better than my bank's APR. If you're in the market for a new or used vehicle, I highly recommend Edward's Chevrolet on 280!

Justin Smith helped us get into a different vehicle. I had a 2007 Suzuki XL7 so it was definitely time. We purchased a 2018 Equinox and he made the process very fast and easy. He was great to work with, extremely nice, and made the whole experience great!
