This is by far the worst bank I have ever banked with. Only a few staff members are respectful and even then they don’t make it a good experience. I have have my account drained 4 times in the past two months with purchases from OUT OF COUNTRY. I don’t have a single subscription on that card. Not only that they won’t answer their phones and if they do it’s a 1800 number. It’s overall just a terrible experience and makes your life 10x more difficult than any bank I have dealt with and currently deal with. The customer service is almost nonexistent. And I’m only giving 1 star because this place might deserve half a star but they don’t offer that as an option

DO NOT USE THEIR ATM if you're banking with another institution!!!. Even though they're offering the service if anything goes wrong they will not helped you at all!!! My husband withdraw cash on Sunday and the machine swallow it back up. After that it was jammed and nobody could use it. The bank refused to give his money back to him! They said the other banking institution needed to initiate the complaint. We explained that it was a bank in the Philippines that there was 13 hours difference so it was impossible for them to call them, and that a lot of staff didn't speak English...THEY DID NOT CARE. Worse, they admitted that they were able to count the machine to verify our claim that the money was swallowed back but that they would not initiate that action! So pretty much unless you have months to waste hoping to get your money back if something goes wrong do not use their ATM to withdraw money from another account. They offer the service but they're not willing to back it up when their machine goes wrong. This is highly unethical!

We have been long time credit union members. When we moved to Johnson City, we joined Eastman Credit Union. The people are FANTASTIC, helpful, friendly and work quickly to help you get your credit union business completed. We LOVE ECU! They are the role model for OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE and financial products. If we could click on 10+ stars we would. Thanks for all you do ECU!

If I could give NO stars. I absolutely would. I can not stand ECU. (Not towards this branch in particular, but towards ECU as a whole.) I recently got married and moved because my husband is military. They refused our wedding checks online and said, “we don’t accept third party checks”...... and it’s just another check written by family through their bank.... so how am I supposed to get the money to my account then? It was stopping me from getting a job, because I needed an ABO card and didn’t have the money. And I couldn’t walk into a branch either, as we were moved to Louisiana. We had about 500$ in wedding money that we seriously needed at that point in time. And ECU SOMEHOW couldn’t do it. I got a bank account with USAA the exact same day, and got all the money we needed into that account by the end of the day. So I know it’s possible. ECU just can’t do it I guess???? LOL. It was still a huge inconvenience because I had to wait for my new card in the mail. To top all of this off, since I’m no longer using my ECU checking account, I obviously have no money there. So I can’t transfer money to pay my credit card off. I’ve been trying to pay it for nearly 2 months now. And I can’t figure out how to add money. A lady on the phone told me there was a form I had to fill out. And that was all. May I add I’ve called numerous times before to try to ask questions about this situation and never got through? At ALL times of the day? I understand it gets busy, but no bank on this planet is THAT busy all damn day. Cmon now. Anyway, I can NOT find this form to save my life. I don’t understand why ECU is so damn difficult about everything. Why can’t I just pay my credit card with another bank card? As soon as I can figure out HOW to pay all of this off, I’m completely done with ECU. Quite possibly the worst bank I’ve ever dealt with. Kind of sad another bank can do what you all couldn’t do within 2 hours.

Can't get through on the automated phone service.

This location is a joke pulled up at 5:25 today, and they took forever to take care of the customer in front of me. When they finished with them they closed the window and couldn't deposit my check. No Customer Service to customers that use this bank all the time. I will be looking for another bank.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Robin . I went in today with the intentions of getting information to refinance my truck to a lower interest rate . We opened up a new checking account previously and she had mentioned it to me . Let me tell you what. Eastman you need 100 more Robins. Her attention to detail , customer care , and personality is unmatched . Hands down best banking experience I’ve ever had. She is a great representative of Eastman Credit Union and a valuable employee. It’s employees like her who make me want to come back !! Whatever you are paying her it isn’t enough!! Thanks for your help today

At ECU, you get personal service with a great attitude and SMILE:)! They are eager to help you, no matter your situation. One of the BEST banks around! The ONLY problem if I have to say one; is the young man who sat down with me & my fiance in order to set up our initial business account was not friendly, very blah, no personality whatsoever and he messed up our two accts. So I would suggest they get rid of him or find another representative to do the initial setups on new accounts. But thats tha only problem I have had in banking with them.
