I was just at East County Pawn shop to sell an old ring that hadn't seen the light of day in years! Unsure to how the experience would go and avidly nervous of the outcome. To my surprise and extreme appreciation, the Young man whom I worked with was amazing. He did every test he needed and when was still unsure, he asked for a second opinion. He was informative, educating myself on specific details of ring stamps to know the difference of a fake or a real ring. He was attentive to my Autistic daughter and offered her a lollipop to keep her busy while we worked together. My stigma of pawn shops has forever changed. I'm a forever customer and will always recommend this company and the people working for them. Thank you guys so so much! Have the best Christmas you can!

East county pawn the best I mean the best five stars Plus you're going to take anything in there they're going to work with you . I've been going there for quite a few years, Pawning everything from tools to a drum set a few times, and now finally gold maybe three or four times. I've gotten this guy that works there, Mario, now Mario will work with you and try to get you whatever you need and it's always more, but I try to stick to what I normally just need, the loan are very fair and reasonable. Let me tell you Mario from my experience has got me the most for what I had to pawn . Mario is the best to negotiate, he will explain everything in detail to give you a fair loan with a smile on his face from ear to ear. Everybody is friendly nice and always smiling 😊😊😊 from the minute you walk in with a wonderful greeting, you will hear so many hellos it sounds like it's echoing in there Now I'm not saying don't go to any of the other guys because they're all awesome and knowledgeable at what they do so if you don't get Mario anyone in there will help you, and will give you a fair and reasonable amount on your loans Now the reason I like Mario helping me he's awesome, very professional, friendly knowledgeable reasonable and very helpful, as is everybody that works there. East county pawn is very lucky to have a man like Mario working for them why he's not manager I don't know. A very patient awesome and professional, knowledgeable, and friendly person name Mario. He will treat you very well. Thanks Mario for working with me, I don't think the whole process even took 15 minutes I was in and out of there within 20 minutes. Great prices and awesome customer service! I went in for a pocket book and came out with 2 of them. Dakota was very helpful and patient with my indecisiveness on which one to choose. Dave told me he would give me $200 to pawn it. The literal next day I come in to trade it in. They made me wait 20 minutes while some desk jockey looked up my laptop on the open market. Then at the end when I was frustrated he said go some where else! BEWARE!

Went by this place for the first time today. I was looking a new guitar so I can serenade my husband this Valentines Day. Dakota was very helpful in picking out the right one and I got a great deal! Someone's gonna be happy this VDay! 😉

This placed a couple things on pawn and had no issue. However the female manager runs the place like it is her business and she owns it. She is a control freak and also makes ups lies. I feel bad for the owner as I am sure they have lost alot of business due to this Behavior.

Hello there, I visited this pawn shop today in hopes to find my moms jewelry; she took me here in the past and she purchased a nice designer bag. So with that being said I was pleased with the selections of authentic Gucci, Coach, Channel, and Louie Vitton items as well as the beautiful diamond gold or silver jewelry. The store was busy which is good and over hearing conversations they said they will contact you before selling your treasures when it’s getting close to the due date, so no lost pawned goods. Most importantly the associates welcome you in, are friendly, very informative and I’ll be back to bring in my designer bags to sell. Have a fabulous day!!

I'm very impressed with East county pawn they have always notified me days before I would be late on my pawn to make sure that I had ample time to refinance or pick up my item. With everything that's been going on in the world right now and being positive for covid and not make it in there they also extended my time so I really appreciate them I've been doing business with them for at least 20 years and it's very family orientated and the only pawn shop that I would use

My girlfriend and I came to sell a coin. The employee put a scratch on it and said the coin was fake , she said the coin was black on the inside and wasn't real gold. The owner responded to my girlfriends review and was kind of a smart Alec about it. The black on the inside of the coin wasn't black at all but just a shadow because of the way she scratched it.she was also very condescending about the entire interaction. We sold about 7500 in coins to Leo Hamel at 95% market value. This pawn shop is unprofessional and their staff and owner are rude and obviously not very good at what they do

The most spectacular customer service interactions I've had in very long time. I'm visiting from out of state and found myself in need of a little extra cash. This place pays very generously and with a smile. Everyone I've encountered were courteous, respectful, professional and knowledgeable. The business is very clean and organized. They even have extra added security measures. Will definitely come back and refer this business!

Only came in today for a ring for valentines day, ended up spending almost 2 hours just talking with the employees, really great customer service and even better prices Liz and Dakota were very helpful with finding the right ring for my wife!!!!

Today for the very first time, I went to a Pawnshop. Can't deny I was a bit nervous and don't know what to do. But Josh, the one that assisted me was very helpful in explaining to me what to do and the costs and prices of what my items will be and when I come to pick it up. Was a bit sad because I thought the 2 items i was going to sell will sufice what amount of mkney I really need but unfortunately it didn't( but on the second thought, i realized that those were kind of used and have some scratches already) Since I still need more than what those 2 items costs, Even if I didn't want to, I decided to pawn/loan the guitar I love the most. Josh was nice enough to increase the price He told me at the beginning to help me out... He was so compassionate even though He didnt know me at all and what I need the money for. Thanks alotJosh! You really helped me alot and give me somewhat of a relief knowing that I have something to pay my bills with. I will definitely come back for my guitar and I will look for you for sure hehe.

A lot of the times I have been there, the merchandise I ask to take a look at is overpriced or was not operational. When I asked for them to drop the price on it substantially on the stuff that was non operational, they were unrealistic with their price as it would've costed me a lot more to possibly fix the thing than me just buying retail.
