DuPont Community Credit Union Reservoir St, Harrisonburg

Best Credit Union around! They break their backs to helps us with ANYTHING we might need. Wished I should have started banking here years & years ago.

This bank had all of my accounts frozen for no reason and to top it off they did it on a Friday after hours. Their “hotline” for card holders had me on hold for 3 hours with no answer. There is no customer support for any situation involving account issues after hours. Absolutely horrible customer service even during regular business hours. Will not be using this bank anymore.

I just want to say thanks to DuPont Community for helping me refinancing my Ford Mustang with a very low interest. Thanks to the team, thanks to Ashley Black who was taking care of the refinancing process, she was very professional and friendly. Thanks for caring about the Community.

Just wanted to check the balance of a prepaid card, the transaction took forever and was not able to be done on-line or over the automated phone system. Many things about this credit union are 50 years behind the times!

I dont normally make complaints about places unless it was a horrible experience. I have been to this bank more than several times in the past year and the past few months the services has been horrible. I can never find parking and there is a line out the door each time. The last time I went in, surprisingly there was only a short line and the teller named Katie was rude. I have worked in customer service all my life and I know how you are supposed to treat a customer. I will be avoiding this branch and possibly this bank altogether in the near future.

I have no complaints, 10 ×'s better dealing with a Credit Union versus a bank

I don’t usually go to this particular DuPont location and an older man mid 30’s (his name was Alex) working there was very rude to my Hispanic mother. Not assuming he was racist, but he could have been a little more professional. My mom didn’t know an answer to one of her security questions & instead of asking another question he kept insisting to see her id. I told him she didn’t have one. He said, “well she needs to carry one because we have new rules and we have to ask.” I was really confused because the young lady who took care of me didn’t ask me for my Id .. I got very annoyed and told him to ask her another question because I know they could ask you a different one. I’ve been going to DuPont for about 4 years NO DuPont employee has ever asked to see an id (only when I opened my account). I have forgotten a question here and there and I have always asked if could answer a different one and with no hesitation they have allowed me. DuPont on Stone Spring Rd is much better.

I recently had issues with my account because of my student loan company, and DuPont helped me fix it. Every time I've called they've been more than helpful.

Best place to bank at. So much better than BB&T. Service is great! Recommend everyone to bank here. :-)
