Your right on failure to pay on rent, due to coronavirus and losing my job, i got referred to your company as stated that your company helps people who had been evicted and etc. Within the last last year but if you have a cosigner and someone that can help you out , and willing to put place in their name, i dont see the problem. Everybody makes mistakes and looking on your website it says that your company helps people, i know im not the only one who has eviction on record and its my first one, definitely doesn't have history of this, otherwise i wouldnt get help from person who would cosign. What is the definition of cosigner, i put i had a cosigner in my.notes before i did application over a month ago so yall made me do another app and pay fee couple a days ago. Could of told me a month ago it was a no go, instead of stringing me along
Hello Carnell, you got all correct right up until the discriminated part which quite frankly is offensive. You were denied due to the public record showing multiple (multiple meaning more than 8) FTPR (failure to pay rent) court filings that had been filed against you and one forcible detainer, this is the exact reason you were denied, you have a history of not paying your rent. We wish you well in your search for a landlord that will accept you.

I used to rent from this company .I had the privilege of meeting one of the nicest people that works there. A guy named buddy very out going and the upmost respect when meeting him. What ever needs to be fixed there wasn't any problems was done professionally. It was a pleasure to be in his presence. You need more people like that to work for you

I have been renting a apt from them for the past year.and with my lease is coming to a end I already contacted them to move into another house since we're outgrowing this apt.we did a application and we're contacted back in a fast manner.the agent Pam was amazing and we seen the house the next day.we are looking forward to moving forward in our new place soon. .and have only had the best experience and I look forward to renting from you guys for many more years. My son recently move into one of there property, Manintaine man John was very fast, with service, really listen to our needs, on what was working and not working, we really appreicated. It it was nice. The lawn clean up was taking care of by Jim. He was fast moving, good job moved all the leafs to a corner, wrap them up, and will be back to pick up. I did call the office on the first day with some concerns, of course thats the first thing we worry about moving in and having problems, I spoke to Mrs Teresa and they were very fast and understanding with the situation. So far everything is going good which is a good feeling for once.

I want to start by saying, this company has been a nightmare for the 3 years i’ve been renting from them. It’s not by choice. Only reason i’ve rented for 3 years is because i’m in a housing program & you can’t move until you have a $0 balance. Which I have had this year. They have put false charges on my account which stopped me from from moving. I have over several receipts stating that I owe this company nothing. They are committing fraudulent charges on tenants accounts. If you google this company in 2016 they had a lawsuit against them from tenants stating that they charged them thousands of dollars in fraudulent maintenance fees. They prey on low income people & need to be stopped. I have bought this to the manger, chad, attention on several occasions & he has a nonchalant attitude & isn’t much help.

Since I cannot reply to my other review. Your response to my review is exactly why your company lacks professionalism. My post was not dishonest nor misleading I simply called it how it was and stated facts. I did not receive any feedback until I posted my review. You could have responded to my review via email or over the phone or in person when I went to pick up my check instead of trying to air someone’s business on the internet because you got a poor review, which is obviously a trend seeing the multiple other poor reviews you have. Y’all should take the BBB accreditation sticker out of your office window because it expired April 2019. Thank you for my money back and I do hope your business succeeds once y’all get better management. My experience will absolutely be reported to the BBB although y’all are not accredited by them.

Would say worst company ever but the GMs and Owner probably don't have the full 100% of what's going on with certain employees. SO they aren't to blame, it's appreciated what they are trying to do for people. Employee(s) at the location I reached were horrible, a few misinformed and clueless workers and an old hag with a bad attitude. I called in and before I could finish saying the purpose for calling a woman was talking over me saying what they do and don't do and telling me information she couldn't have possibly known like what someone else said 2 months ago. Connected with Nikki who really was the ONLY one that tried to help me. Never went on a tour and was supposed to get a refund for an unprocessed application and was told that someone named Pam (whom I never met) said I wanted to move forward and so my application processed unknowingly. Very tedious and upsetting he said/she said chain of command and confirmation.

Everything started off great it seems like they really tried to help me. I went and seen four properties with an agent and tried to put a down payment on one and it was rented. However when I asked about the other properties they all apparently had been rented as well ( the properties are still showing available on the website now) Even after I submitted my application and was told everything was approved , I was then told that they wouldn’t have anything in my price range until may. Very stressful to say the least and no I still didn’t find an apartment through them they are however still showing the properties I did look at as still available smfh

They get the job done. The rentals are very well priced. Rentals can be anywhere from 150.00 to 2,000 but allot from 600 to 1,000. I found a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment with wood floors, high ceilings, granite counters beautiful bathroom, all stainless steel appliances, washer and dryer and even a dishwasher for a very good price I am very very satisfied with their service.

Said they could help with bad credit and they do help with section 8, but could not understand my paperwork. Is what I was told. No hard feelings found a better place completely renovated and all new appliances that could read my paperwork.
Ms. Santiago, yes, we do help with bad credit and yes, we tried, also your paperwork had absolutely nothing to do with you being denied, it was the failure to pay rent court filings and a judgment from your previous landlord less than 90 days ago due to you not paying rent was the reason that we would not rent to you. No hard feelings, we found a better tenant for that property.

I arrived at the office after hours due to my work schedule and travel time. The staff was very helpful and still let me in to take care of my business. Even though I slowed them down to close the office and get home as well. They still treated me like I was the first customer to arrive when they opened.

Renting with them had been one of the worse experiences of my life. Not only were they extremely rude, unprofessional, and condescending, they let themselves into my rental unit without notice while myself and small daughter were just getting out the shower. The unit has a huge mice problem which I am sure they will try to blame me for but their were mice droppings noted on the original inspection and the basement floods every time it rains. Then one time I was late paying my rent I let them know it would need to pay on the 10th and they still filed in rent court though every other month I paid early. Not to mention they find any reason to come knock on the door and do inspections which is very disruptive since I work from home and when I call to complain about it they talk to me like am their servant or slave. I am really sorry I rented with them especially since for what I pay I could live anywhere else in the city and not be subjected to this kind of harassment. I can not wait until my lease. I definitely will not be renewing.
Ms. Manning, we are very sorry that you feel this way, yes, when you first moved in, we did make the mistake of entering your unit by mistake, we profusely apologized. We have documented that every time you do call this office, you scream and curse for no reason. Please be honest as to the real reason that you are upset is due to the owner selling the unit which we have absolutely no control over and the realtor setting up showings, which you are calling inspections, again we do apologize that you are so angry.

Horrible customer service. When I called to inquire about their services and available properties, first of all the women who answered the phone on speaker phone and I could hardly hear her. It sounded like a party or a social gathering was going on in the background "it was loud". Decided NOT to rent from this place.

Very unprofessional and unresponsive. Company had me make a deposit before finalizing my lease. Waited until the day before I was supposed to move in before releasing my lease. I refused to sign the lease and requested a deposit back. They informed me to all 2 business days before my refund would be available. I contacted the company within the 2 business days and was told that they would let me know when my refund would be available because the general manager was still reviewing my refund form. It has been a week and I still have not heard anything regarding my refund. I have sent several emails and even requested the general managers contact information and have been ignored. I will be taking legal action.
Ms. Dawson, while we welcome constructive criticism, especially if we have failed to meet expectations, however, we will not allow nor tolerate you making misleading and dishonest statements at this company. The facts are that you gave the deposit to hold the unit that you wanted and were approved for, no one made you. You were scheduled to move in on 11/1, which fell on a Sunday so we arranged for you to pick up the keys on 10/31, you were sent the lease on 10/30 to sign and you refused to sign and backed out of the deal. You submitted renters insurance to us to take effect on 10/31 and you put BGE in your name for the unit to begin on 10/31. Please read the documents that you signed, one was a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT form due to us taking the unit off the market since you were approved, put down a deposit, and wanted the unit, the second was a request for a deposit refund form (that you submitted on 10/30, one day before you were to pick up the keys) which clearly states that if a deposit is refunded, it would be done so within 2 business of being approved by a manager. This has been communicated with you through email. Your refund will be ready today after 3pm.

This company has put a for rent sign at one of the homes in the community. The sign has been up since August and still the tenants are there and the property is not kept up. If they aren’t moving, come take the sign down

This company has helped me alot. I had trouble finding my family a home to live in and with the help of the staff i was able to be approved. The young lady who helped me went above and beyond to awnser all my questions. She never rushed me or judged me when i did not understand something. I am so happy to be moving in to my new home

Dunne Wright has some of the best customer service I have ever received in my life! Every single question I had was addressed and I always received an answer the same day! I also had the pleasure of going into their office literally 2 minutes before closing on a Friday and of course Linda the employee at the front desk, was nothing but kind! She was very professional and very nice! Dana went above and beyond for my family and I couldn't appreciate her more. Thanks to this company my family and I are enjoying our first home together. Thank you guys so much! I would recommend this company to anyone who needs help starting over or just help in general for housing. We love our new home!

Do not rent from this agency. I am writing this review under a different name. As you can tell from the reviews, they are highly unprofessional. I am using a different name, since they like to put their tenants business out there for all to see just to defend their self. That right their shows how unprofessional they are. I would never recommend this agency to any one. They are con artist. They make money off their tenants. Not just rent, what ever way they can, they will. They are horrible with fixing problems with their property's. A lot of people complain about them. They take forever to send some one out. When they do the maintenance does a amateurish job. I do not know If I should blame the maintenance, or if they only do their job so cheap due to the fact, they can only do what they are told to do. Natural wear and tear happens, with this place it is a huge problem, due to the fact, they do a poor job fixing things. So the natural wear and tear becomes a huge problem. Then, they will blame every thing on the tenant. And then charge the tenant astronomical prices for repairing. They blame everything on the tenant. I have never seen a agency-land lord as bad as this place. Also if you have section 8, I definitely do not recommend renting from this place. Section 8 is low income, people who struggle, And this place is the worse. They charge such high prices, and try to point the blame for everything on the tenant. They do not tell you, they are going to charge you, They will come, fix what ever it is half way, then you will receive a letter in the mail with such a high price. They are court happy. If you do not pay the price of the work their maintenance does. They will take you to court. You know this place is bad, when someone has to leave a review under a fake name, just so their business does not get blasted. I honestly do not know how this place is in business. Never mind, I guess taking advantage of the poor, or people who struggle I can see why. I know so many people who rent from these people, and see some of my friends on Face book, complaining about things not being fixed or how they got charged, I guess you live and learn...NEVER AGAIN. They will try any and everything to not give you back your security deposit. When you report a problem, they will act like it is the first time it has happen, or it is new, blah, blah, Just so they can blame you, and take you to court. I think all the tenants need to come together and try to put a stop to this. They have had a sue case against them once before. < when you google this property you will see the case. Do your research before renting from them. Check into it, Ask around, So you will not become a victim of this place! I would not recommend this place. Not at all DO not pay attention the the couple five star reviews, those are probably from the realtors who work at this place. Pay attention to the reviews, so you do not end up in the same situation

Chad and his crew managed by house for a little over a year and did a below average job. They "fixed" parts of the house that I now have to correct. Not once did they contact me for these "fixes". If they had, they have known I have extra tile for the bathroom. Instead, they installed obviously mismatched tile. If they had contacted me, they would have known to install a standard faucet, so the portable dishwasher could be attached. Instead, they installed a kitchen faucet that does not fit the attachment, so I had to replace it. Further, they didn't do anything other than collect checks and their fees. When the last tenants moved out, they left the place in complete disarray, with a LOT of damage to multiple walls. Chad and his crew didn't care. And I just got the water bill 90 days after the last tenant moved out. There is a $150 previous balance Chad and his crew didn't bother to make the last tenants pay. Quarterly water bills are only around $50-$70, meaning the previous tenants missed multiple payments. Naturally, Chad and his crew are now ignoring my texts and emails. Lastly, after 90 days they failed to place a single renter. Instead, Chad came to me with a section 8 renter that required over $2000 worth of work to the house. After ten years of continuous rental, Chad and his crew completely FAILED to find a renter. During the summer time. In highly desirable Hampden, Baltimore. Chad a his crew weren't completely incompetent, but they were pretty close. I regret using them as my management company. I used them only because my previous company abruptly changed management and stopped all communication with me. It's clear Dunne Wright does NOT do things right. They only want slumlords as clients and do not know anything else or want to know anything else. Edit to respond to Chad: "You became unhappy when told that there was work to be done after the tenants moved out" I became unhappy because it was clear you didn't do anything to protect my property and kept making excuses for why you didn't. You simply left me to fix damage to my property I paid you to protect me from. "something that you were unable to comprehend due to it costing money" This is a bald faced lie. I have no problem spending money as a landlord to ensure my tenants live in a well maintained house, as you know, since I approved over $1000 worth of work to be done on my house in August, knowing it needed to be done. Thank you, though, for showing everyone your willingness to lie about your clients. Further, I understand that after 10 continuous years of being rented, you FAILED to place a renter after 90 days, in desirable Hampden, during the summer. You can make whatever excuses you like for this failure, but you still failed. "Quite frankly our relationship came to an end for the exact opposite as you put in your review. We DO NOT want slumlords as clients." The incompetent don't know how incompetent you are. FYI, if you wanted something other than slumlords, you wouldn't have come to me with ONLY section 8 housing for a house in Hampden. Hampden is an easy place to rent a house out, but you failed to do that.

This place is dreadful. They do a lousy job of taking care of their houses. They allow their maintenance permission to walk into your home if you’re not home after waiting months for them to finally send somebody out to your home. I’m unsure of how you would feel about somebody you don’t know and trust walking into your home, but personally, this is a no go for me. I don’t trust anybody regardless of where they work. There are too many child predators out there to risk people coming into your home when you’re not there. Not only that, the maintenance look like they are all on drugs. So when you’re not home, these are the kind of people who walk through your home. They are ghetto. I mean hood rat ghetto. It shows in their attitudes and how they fix things. It’s refreshing, inspiring even. Laughing. If people like this can run a business, then so can we. I’m thinking I’m in the wrong field. So, thank you for your crummy service, you’ve inspired me to want more, to be better, to reach for the stars and try harder. And, maybe, just maybe I can bring people better service than you do. I’m praying to God that he hears my cries, feels my pain because at the moment, I’m undecided of how much longer I can mentally deal with this rental agency. The stress is too much to cope with. It’s enough to put you in depression even when you have no history of mental health disorders. It’s hard to compromise and respect people who are impossible to deal with.

In one sentence you say that our maintenance staff look like hood rats on drugs right after you say that they come into your unit when your not home. You mention drugs, depression, stress, and mental illness all in one statement, we sincerely hope that you are ok.

Definitely the worst company I've ever rented from. Took them two months to address my maintenance issues and then came in without permission and stole my money when they did. Everything still isn't fixed, but I don't want them to come back. I'm currently trying to get my money back ($930) and hopefully move since I no longer feel comfortable staying there. (They initially told me that no one entered my home, but my neighbor saw them) I met another tenant at a court hearing who also stated that the maintenance people have stolen money AND FOOD from her house. Yes, the rent is cheap, but it's not worth the headache. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
The key part of your rant is the second to last sentence, the part about the court hearing your were at due to not paying your rent for months and the part about you almost being evicted but chose to move out instead. We asked you to file a police report which for some reason would not do. Why was that?
