    Had a great experience here from start to finish! Just got my Genesis GV70 and Drew couldn’t have been more thorough and helpful through the whole process. With weekly updates and troubleshooting with delays, I constantly felt cared for. 10/10 would recommend!

    Had my car there to get fixed then I got an oil as well the tech never checked my tire pressures and after I called and asked about it they did another inspection. I then was told that I was all checked. It doesn't look like it to me. They said all tires were filled to 35 psi. And it was blowing white smoke out of my exhaust when I left and still is

    First let me state that I bought a used jeep here and absolutely love it. The sales staff was 100% uninterested in getting a deal together while I was there. I left and called the used car sales manager. He was able to put the deal together after the salesman said they wouldn’t take a deposit until I picked it up. After picking it up I was told I’d be responsible for my own tags. After taking off work to go to the clerks I was informed that the dealer did the paperwork to get my tags and they informed me wrong. I called the dealership and at that time they couldn’t even find verification if my purchase in their system. I requested to speak to the general manager three separate times and he never took my call or called me back. Weeks later after still having no tags I called back again. Once again they couldn’t find me as a customer in their computer system. After calling the clerks office I was able to resolve the issue with no help from the dealer. To be honest this was the worst car purchasing experience I’ve ever had at a dealership. The sales manager was outstanding 👍🏻 However the finance manager was the rudest person I’ve ever written a check to. Please take my warning and avoid this dealership at all costs. Headaches from start to finish.

You had purchased the vehicle 2 1/2 weeks ago. The Paperwork was processed on our end and sent to the county you live in and that was explained to you on the phone when you had called in. Not sure where the confusion was that there was no help on our part. Depending on the county it may take up to and ever more than 30 days to get your tags depending on if that county is short handed or not. We are happy that we were able to put the deal together after negotiations with the preowned manager. Thanks so much for your business and we hope you have wonderful day!!!!

    We purchased a car at the “Downtown Hyundai” in Nashville for my daughter on 12/30/2020. We dealt with Salesperson who promised the world along with their great service. My daughter has been there 5 times so far and only once has she been able to get the car serviced. She has waited multiple times in the waiting room only to be told they can’t get to the car today. When the “Check Engine” light came on she called for service to have it checked out. They told her there was no appointment available for two months !! Absolutely ridiculous. She eventually stopped at another car shop to have the indicator checked out. They told her it was a warning about the engine cooling system. I have called and spoke to a manager who has repeatedly said someone would call back. When the salesperson Terry eventually called back he said someone would call the next day. That was 10 days ago and no one has ever called. Never buy another car from here again!!!

    I had a fantastic service experience today with Jeff @ Downtown Hyundai. I brought my car in for the first time to have the oil changed and the tires rotated. Jeff was incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and friendly. He told me exactly what would happen at the appointment then set me up with a complimentary Lyft ride since I wasn't waiting around. He gave me a call later to let me know the service was complete. Overall, very pleased with my visit today and especially Jeff's Legendary Customer Service!

    I was a bit hesitant after reading the reviews on yelp but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with my purchase of a new hybrid through Drew. He was great to work with, no runaround and no bs. Walked me through the process patiently from start to finish and even helped this old gal figure out all these new fancy high tech features. And Jason on the Finance team helped us complete our documents at lightning speed. We would certainly trust them again.

    Great dealership, with great people on the sales team. Look for Drew, who will help you as best as he can to assure you leave with the best price possible and happy with the exact vehicle you want.     Long story short: called for first app. Ever, lady in service department was rude and ended up hangin up when I asked her to cancel my app. Got a phone call from Amanda (whom was pleasant and kind) and she relayed message to the service manager. Service manager called and wanted to make this right, got me schedule for today (12/04/2021). I showed up 8:30 am - stood inside the service bay waiting till 9:10am to get approached and “helped”. Service advisor told me there is no way car would get done nor was he aware of my app. And the reason I was there. So after 50 min I took my keys and drove out,… I do not even know what to say anymore,… Hyundai and it’s employees dropped the ball again yet this time for the last time! I will NEVER bring my vehicle to any Hyundai dealership again! Sitting at Toyota of CoolSprings as we speak, waiting for my vehicle to get the service it needs.

    Geoff was so helpful && nice! I was a little annoyed I was waiting 20 minutes to get checked in even with an appointment, but understand we are all short staffed. Geoff turned my annoyed attitude around his charisma and customer service was excellent! My car was ready in under an hour and notified me quickly.

    Upon arriving they didn't have my info in the system after I had provided it the day before when I called to schedule the service. There was a bit of a wait before anyone came over to assist. When I was greeted, Jeff was very kind and helpful. He helped me get the service going in my car. The shuttle service was great and useful. After the service was complete it took 25-30 minutes before anyone checked me out. If it wasn't for the shuttle service and Jeff helping out at the beginning, I'd give this a one star rating. I'll stick to my local Hyundai dealer in Hendersonville.

    I highly recommend Downtown Hyundai/Genesis. They were a class act and never pressured me. My salesperson, Bob Wood, was fabulous in every way.     I had a 9am appointment for a regular oil change. I check in & they let me know my car has two open recalls, so it may take longer than normal. They first quote me two hours. At noon, I check in letting them know I have a work meeting at 1pm. I find out my car is upstairs for the recalls & it’s next in line, but once they get to my car, it will be another hour. I ask about getting my car out of the queue. I’m assuming the oil change has already been completed. Turns out that nothing has been done on my car yet. I finally get checked out around 1:30pm, 4 & 1/2 hours after my appointment time. Im not sure what the point of setting an appointment is if it’s still going to be a half day process. Since I just purchased my car & get two free oil changes, I will definitely be back one more time, but other than warranty repairs, I’ll be going elsewhere.

    Took us a while to find a dealership that was not charging Market Value Adjustment. Staff @ Downtown Hyundai, Nashville was quite friendly and the facilities were clean. Bob made the whole car purchase process extremely easy. He was very friendly and responsive and kept us updated on the expected vehicle delivery date.

    Such an amazing buying experience ! Bob was absolutely amazing , made the buying process super easy and smooth . I bought 5 vehicles in the past 8 months and Bob was by far the best experience. He didn’t try to up sale what we didn’t need . He listened to what we wanted and delivered . Every other dealership is putting huge mark ups on new vehicles . Downtown Hyundai does not ! I commend you for that and thanks again Bob for such an easy purchase !

    My brother took his genesis in December to get his transmission issues fixed because it was under warranty. It was down there 3 months… when he finally went to pick it up, his personal belongings like watch, cologne, rayban sunglasses were gone, the seat had been burned with a cigarette and trash had been left in the back. Spoke with management and said he had no proof of any of that. Wow. Good to know we will never be doing business with you all again. So much for good customer service.

    We certainly thank you for your review but simply put none of this is true. The vehicle was here getting a transmission put in the vehicle. As anyone knows when it comes to parts, or any kind of supplies everywhere the supply chain is difficult to get things. This includes parts for vehicles that comes from overseas. The vehicle was not here 3 months but yes it was here 2 months due to backorder parts to fix the vehicle. The vehicle was secured behind a fenced in lot while on the premises. The vehicle was given back the same way inside as it was given to us. We certainly are disappointed to here that you may have misplaced these items you are referring too.     It’s a really difficult time to need a new car given the state of the market. We had shopped around a lot and had problem after problem with other dealerships. Came across Bob and had a great experience from start to finish. He was honest, upfront and very helpful. Would definitely come here in the future if we ever need another car. Cheers Bob

    Received no calls back from service department despite saying I would get a call back on routine basis for updates. Received call back from service manager saying car was ready and he would call me back next day to confirm pickup. Called 3 days in a row to make sure I could pick up said repaired car but had no answer or call back. Finally heard back from service tech and said car would cost an extra $7,000 to fix. Took vehicle elsewhere and was fixed for much cheaper price. Service department takes full advantage of people and rakes you over the coals. Horrible customer service. Will never take vehicle back to this location or buy another Hyundai due to customer care

    Very slow...🐌 service it takes 1month+[40+ days] just to get diagnose appointment. All hyundai dealers super poor in repair service they're so behind needs to hire more mechanic workers to speed up service ASAP. People who ask your call 📞 or in person handle your case, don't know how to handle the best ways of interest of customers example tow the car in first to get diagnose so they order a parts without more time consuming delays. Hyundai Workers have poor knowledge about the operation.

    I was on line with Terry Hupton. He called me when the the car was in . He was very helpful in the process of purchasing the Palisade.     I’ve been trying to get my car that’s just paid off and still under warranty fixed with them for 6 months. They have lost my paper work and my car on multiple occasions and keep releasing a car that works for a day before dying again. I’ve replaced a battery and other things on their recommendation and it still does not work. The other dealerships may have a longer wait time but just go to Franklin or Clarksville for service because the one Downtown is an absolute joke. Update: Managers will post here saying they want to help but put exactly 0 effort in reaching out.

    First time at a Hyundai dealership and receiving such terrible customer service . Wait 1 hr + to get your car checked in with no one ahead of you. when scheduling insisted no later times available . Not to mention reps trying charge100+ For an oil change when the service has been free at other dealerships. Ask Rob to check if discounts are available, our rep advised is not his job and the managers just left so they can’t come speak to me. Well, I’ve been acknowledged for the hour that I was waiting maybe that would not have been the case. Nevertheless time wasted not some thing most working people can’t afford to do. Left the dealership unserviced not even the free multi point inspection terrible experience.

    Not good at all. Very unprofessional! Took my car in for a knock sensor recall and a couple of days later my engine went out. Got it towed up there. They checked it out and said bad engine. To much to type: service department horrible, service manager what a shame! Service reps horrible beside maybe 1 or 2. Then they stole my battery out my car and try to replace it with a Panasonic battery. Check your car before and after!

    Had a very disappointing experience with the dealership. Bought two vehicles from this dealership. The salesman (Michael. C) was great but can's say the same about the managment. My experience is such that all thigs went smoothly until a problem occured. When that happened, the dealership did not meet my expectation of what I consider to be even half a decent customer service/satisfaction. Tried to reach GM Timothy Koval but at no avail.

    The service center is awful!! For the last year they've done nothing but give my girlfriend the run around on a oil consumption issue.. now they've straight up ghosted her.. they've actually made the car worse. If that's not bad enough The poor girl is a front line worker in this mentally and physically draining time and relies on a reliable car to get to and from the hospital.. also the sales manger will act like he cares and ghost you as well.. so all and all if you want to be treated like trash and not get your problem resolved I suggest you check them out..

    My car’s check engine light was on, so I came to this dealership. Cost me about 200 bucks on diagnosis only! Could have bought an OBD scanner for much cheaper price or go other places for free diagnosis! Try to be aware of this expensive service place.

    I bought a 2021 Hyundai Kona at downtown Hyundai today and had an amazing experience. Previously, I had been very loyal to another dealership in Nashville for 5+ years, but unfortunately their customer service went downhill over the years. So I decided I'd try a new dealership this time and I'm SO glad that I came to downtown Hyundai. Chubby is super friendly and helped me find my perfect car. He worked with me to find a financing option that worked for me, and by the time I signed papers there were no hidden fees, no shady sales tactics or fine print. The financing process took much longer than they said was usual, so they offered to order me food. I felt terrible because I'm vegan and didn't want to be difficult but they literally ordered me a large vegan pizza!!! Talk about going above and beyond. Seriously I am a customer for life after today. Thank you so much downtown Hyundai!!!!!!

    I am so happy with the comfortable, no pressure purchase from this dealership. My salesman, Reed, was was not only knowledgeable about the used Subaru Forester I bought, he made sure my vehicle was spotless, inside and out. He (and the dealership) also portrayed integrity by fixing a small dent on the cargo door. Most dealers would have passed it off as an "as is" dent. They also gave me a loaner vehicle to drive while they made the repair. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone buying a new or pre-owned vehicle!

    Thank you to Chubby and Terry for helping my family purchase a new Hyundai Palisade. We appreciated that Downtown Hyundai, despite the chip shortage and high demand for the new Palisade, did not charge us an extra market adjustment, a common dealership practice right now, because we are local residents. Since all new Palisades are currently out of stock, Terry kept us up to date with the expected delivery date. The date did get pushed back once, but we were able to purchase the vehicle within six weeks of putting down a deposit and getting on Downtown Hyundai’s list. On the day of the purchase, Chubby took us on a test drive of the vehicle and helped us understand how to access the features of the car. In the end, while the all-in cost of the vehicle—with dealer fees, tax, title, etc.—was a bit higher than we expected, we were pleased with our interactions with all of Downtown Hyundai’s staff and are now enjoying our new Palisade.     I bought a 2012 Honda Accord from Downtown and I have been very happy with the car and the sales experience. I told Chris Knapp what I was looking for and he found a car that was in good shape and in my price range. Their finance department got me a good rate as well. Excellent experience all the way around. I would recommend them highly and would buy from them again next time as well.

    My car broke down on the middle of the interstate in September 2021 because of the recall on the engine. I had to purchase a new vehicle to drive because I was told there were no loaners available and would not be for a while. I have still not been offered a loaner nor received my vehicle. After very little communication from Tim or anyone else in the service department, and several unreturned phone calls(after updating my phone number with them multiple times) and unanswered emails I went up to the dealership again today. I was then informed that my car may be ready for me to pickup but my key had been misplaced.

    They were great! I live in GA and called the day before I made the trip to Nashville. Put a deposit on a car the day before, drove there the next day, traded my old car in, bought the new one , and drove home! No nonsense fees like they have here in GA. Easy deal. Finance guy was great. Highly recommend!

    BUYER BEWARE. I got info for a car from my workplace discount program. I was given terms through my workplace program of down payment and monthly payment. After several calls and emails with the dealership, I was given a link to put in an application. They totally ignored the deal the workplace partnership provided to me and proceeded to put 3 hard inquiries on my credit with 3 different banks. Then came back and said "sorry! We can't honor that" that I'll need more money down but never even bothered to tell me what I would need to meet THEIR terms. The entire thing is shady and horrible for someone who is rebuilding their credit and just needed a second vehicle (first one is older but paid off). They treated me with very little respect and didn't even bother to honor their partner programs, tell me what terms I needed or even offer me a similar vehicle to meet my payment needs. Don't buy here unless you want a waste of time. I might add it was a high mileage used car, I'm just gonna take the money I saved up and buy a car outright. This is a scam and the salesman are vultures. A complaint as been submitted with the CFPB. Check your reports yall.

Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond the dealerships control the lenders denied your application. This was a loss of opportunity for the both of us.     We just had the best experience purchasing our 2022 Tucson Hybrid Limited, Bob Wood was able to get us exactly what we were looking for. If you've been looking, then you know just how difficult these vehicles are to get and how some dealerships are overcharging to get you what you want. Back in August Bob emailed us a spec sheet for a Tucson that was scheduled to arrive in October, after confirming that it was what we wanted we placed a small deposit on the vehicle to make sure it didn't get away. Bob kept us informed every step of the way. Once it arrived we went to the dealership and the paperwork was fast and easy, no surprises in the pricing. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend Downtown Hyundai and Bob Wood.

However after consulting the dealership in person about the issue I was having it was then resolved with all the information I needed in the best way they could possibly provide it.     Buying experience is TOP notch!!! Though, took them several hours for paperwork. I left the lot feeling like my purchase was fair, equitable, and even exceeded my idea of value! However, followup visits for service were underwhelming and overbooked. Every. Single. Time. Never an opportunity for loaner, shuttle, or escalated service times after failing to deliver on reservations. Service staff while EXTREMELY polite, have 'shrug your shoulders', 'whatcha gonna do???', 'business as usual' undertones. So I switched to another location---same thing with service. Polite, but 'these are the cards' mantra. Well, you almost had me Hyundai, but now I'm just biding time until I can glide back to my old standard of service...Volvo. Or maybe consider using a foreign car repair service because I've had on par experiences with them locally. Hyundai-do better! Finish what you start-take some pride in earning loyalty.

    I initially went in to discuss purchasing from the Subaru side. I met up with Chris Knapp, and after further discussion, we came to the conclusion that a Subaru wasn’t going to be in my current budget. It was at this time he suggested showing me the 2021 Kona. I checked out the vehicle and gave it a test drive, all without any of the sales pressure I’ve experienced at other dealerships. This vehicle met all of my needs. Chris and Johnny, the Hyundai sales manager, were exceptional. They gave me a wonderful deal and helped me get out of a car I couldn’t stand to a car I absolutely adore. I am very grateful for their outstanding service and commitment to making sure I got into a great vehicle at the price point/payment I needed. They made the process so simple. To top it off, the finance manager (unfortunately I cannot remember his name) was fantastic and got me in and out in a timely manner. They have a wonderful and efficient team at Downtown Hyundai that truly cares about their customers.

    DO NOT LET THIS DEALERSHIP HANDLE YOUR REGISTRATION . This dealership horribly mismanaged the registration of my vehicle. The registration papers were maid to the incorrect location twice, leading to a massive delay in receiving my tags. We have not been able to drive the vehicle got approximately 10 weeks now due to this mismanagement. If I had known that this dealership didn’t know how to deal with California registration, I would have handled it and not paid them to do it.

    So my car engine was making loud knocking noise and I gave the car to the service department and they told me that they will look at it and let me know what is the problem. After checking my car they told me that I need a new engine but luckily my car was under warranty so they told me that they will replace the engine but it might take few weeks. It’s been three months my car is still in the service center and I have no idea what’s going on with the parts and stuff they recently told me that your car engine parts are here. But I was wondering that if the parts are here they should start fixing my car but I don’t know what’s going on especially in this weather it is so difficult to go to work when you don’t have a car I didn’t even get a loaner vehicle I am carless right now.

    My salesman Terry is a rockstar so I had an excellent experience. Terry’s been in the business for over 20 yrs so he’s seen it all and he’s highly knowledgeable of downtown Nashville so he’ll keep you entertained if you have to wait on finance. If it wasn’t for Terry I would drop my rating to a 4 since we did actually have to wait on financing since they only have 1 financing person on Thursdays. I was paying cash so they should’ve got me out of there in less than an hour since I already knew what I want and again, since I was paying cash. Hyundai is a stellar brand!

    So my overall experience with will in the service department was phenomenal. Everything he said happened and he was easy to talk to and honestly amazing. But the GM and Jason in the dealership cannot be trusted. I was promised a loaner car as long as I got my vehicle in their shop. After spending 800 dollars to get my vehicle out of another shop and to their shop the GM said he would not give me a loaner car and Jason said that he would not help me anymore. I have text messages to prove what I’m saying and am currently speaking with Hyundai about this issue. Because of this I had to spend 3000 on rentals. I will never buy Hyundai from them again and honesty will probably never buy Hyundai again. But I have to reiterate that my rating has NOTHING to do with will. He was amazing and helpful and is the only good part about my experience here. Having just seen the rely I must edit this post. The dishonesty in this post is absolutely amazing. Jason did know it was in another shop and I have the texts to prove it! I also have the text from Jason stating that GM was going to give me a loaner. Your information is very incorrect. Your dealership is also the reason I will never buy Hyundai again. Poor business’s practices

    Ted, I am sorry you have had a bad experience with our body shop. You originally had your vehicle at another body shop that was not getting the work done for you. The communication was failed when we found out it was at the other body shop for over a month. The vehicle was brought to us with 1/2 work done and originally said no that other shop needed to finish the work. You wanted us to fix it. You have never spoken with the GM directly so I am not sure why in the review you are saying you did. Jason had told you we could fix vehicle without knowing the vehicle was already at another body shop for well over a month. Will worked very hard after we got the vehicle to make things correct and fought with insurance company to cancel checks to other dealership and reassign to us. Your insurance company said no to loaner vehicle reasoning is you switched company's on fixing your vehicle and ran out of time for them to pay anymore for the rental. I am sorry that is not our fault. You true rating needs to be with your own insurance company and the other company that could not fix your vehicle in a timely manner. We really do appreciate your business and letting us fix the vehicle properly and getting it back to you in a timely manner that should have been done upfront. Have a wonderful day!!!!!

Every time I call, they transfer me to service department, which automatically directs me to the voice-mail. I have recorded voice-mails as well as marked them urgent, but of no use.     I would give 5 stars for service, but I'll give 4 stars because there were 2 custom Hyundai valve stems caps missing after they were checked for air pressure. I didn't notice until a few days later when filling my car with gas. Now i have to purchase 4 new custom valve stems. Grr!!! LOL Update: I was never contacted by Downtown Hyundai nor did they ever replace my valve stem covers. They were acquired from Amazon by me. I'm not sure what to make of your response!!!!! So, now that you have responded with an utterly false statement, stars have been reduced to 3.

I got in contact with the legendary Bob Wood with what I was looking for, and he got back to me in a timely manner with the information I requested and more. The overall process was exceptionally straightforward and transparent, and we never felt pressured in any way or had the impression that information was hidden from us. In fact, Downtown Hyundai was the only Hyundai retailer in the area who weren't ridiculously marking up the prices on their new vehicles. We will definitely be back in the future!     Well I was looking at a 2021 palisade. My wife picked on out and we put our deposit down to hold the car to come in. They were flying out of the lot before we could get one. Well Bob(our salesperson) kept us in the loop the whole time. I was frustrated that I had to wait almost 2 and a half months for it. They kept their deal with me with my trade in even though I put more miles on it. Also because I waited so long they threw in the weather mats for me. If I was staying in Tennessee and needed a new car again I would go back to this dealership hand down.

    Worked with Bob Wood and it was a good experience. I generally do not like new car dealerships, and I would prefer if the government didn't forbid us from ordering directly from car manufacturers. (Any state senators out there listening???) However, as dealers go, my experience at Downtown Hyundai was good, and the pricing was relatively straightforward. (There was a problem calculating the taxes, but it was corrected when I pointed out the error.) I'll go back there again the next time I buy a Hyundai.

    I would highly recommend Downtown Hyundai! Bob Wood was my salesperson. There aren’t many cars available on lots, so the car I bought was ordered. Bob kept tabs on it and kept me posted throughout the build and shipping of the vehicle. When it came in, I was so excited, but then because I paid off and closed my credit accounts, my credit took a hard hit and I didn’t get the interest rate I was hoping for. I had to make a decision to keep the car I had (which was paid for) or take in a higher payment. It didn’t seem like it, but it was a very tough decision for me. Bob gave me time and did not pressure me with the usual sales tactics that you often hear. Well, meantime, the finance wizards made some magic and I was able to get the payment and interest rate I could be happy with!! I am a proud owner of a new 4 wheel drive Sante Fe Calligraphy!! My next car will also be purchased here when I need it.

    My last visit was the best one I’ve had. Downtown Hyundai’s service has generally left a bad taste in my mouth. I’ve had a few advisors that have been pleasant and were better to deal with after my first visit at downtown Hyundai was downright terrible, but I haven’t been thrilled about taking my car there for service and maintenance given my experiences there. My service advisor during this most recent visit, Geoff Booker, makes me hope that won’t be the case going forward. He was very thorough in making sure that all of the issues I’d brought my car in for were addressed and kept me updated. He truly went above and beyond and I hope Downtown Hyundai does whatever is needed to make sure they keep him on staff. I really appreciate his customer service and hope that each of my subsequent visits are just as pleasant.

    After speaking with dozens of dealers in my region, I got really really tired of dealing with disrespectful, deceptive, high-pressure salespeople. I worked with Bob Wood at Downtown Hyundai today to get a deposit down on a car, and he stood out as direct and particularly helpful. We got everything done quickly and he had answers to all my questions. Funny thing, we joked about this dealership because every time you drive by on West End there’s an empty parking lot with barely any cars.     Bob Wood was our sales agent. He was very patient with us in trading in our old car, test driving what was available, and in selecting our new Hyundai. He is also very knowledgeable about the cars he sells. In fact he has a Hyundai Kona too! We had a small issue with the Tenn Department of Motor Vehicles. Bob was able to come up with a temporary solution to our issue so that we could drive home with our new car. We are very pleased to know Bob is an honest car salesman. The service department's Garth was also very helpful with our old car. He is also very knowledgeable about repairing cars. He was able to identify immediately what the problems were with our old car. I recommend Downtown Hyundai/Subaru for both sales and service.

    My niece was traveling through Nashville heading home to Florida. She had just had her Tucson fixed at her Hyundai dealer in Florida and her car shutoff again (speed sensor issue). The global Hyundai customer service told her to drive right to the closest dealer, which happened to be the Downtown Hyundai location. She drove 2 hrs out of her way to have the dealer check the car out so she could SAFELY drive home. The service department couldn’t and wouldn’t take 5 mins to at least check the codes on the vehicle. This dealer has no idea what customer service is. So glad I don’t have to take my vehicle to this dealer.

    Sat in the waiting room from 8am - 2pm. Asked for an update at 12pm, they stated they would provide an update and did not come back. At 2pm they stated they would need to keep my vehicle until Monday (This is on Friday) for electrical issues. They stated they were at 20/20 rental cars and could not provide me with a vehicle. Left a message for the service manager on Friday afternoon and never received a call back. Called back on Saturday and was told not a single manager was working. Completely unacceptable for a dealership of this size to not be able to accommodate a rental/temporary vehicle for a 2021 car under warranty with electrical issues.

    I had an awful experience with this Hyundai. My car broke down on the way to Nashville from Florida, so I had it towed here. Huge mistake. They tell me what's wrong and that it'll be about 2 days for the part to get there and have the car fixed. They called me a week later to tell me that it was ready, so I booked a flight for the next week. To make sure that they knew I was going to be there a week later, I tried calling them every day leading up to my flight. The receptionist would transfer me and the call would play music and then go to voicemail. This was every time I called. So then I get to Nashville and try to call to have Hyundai's shuttle service to pick me up to bring me to the dealership since I obviously have no car. The receptionist tells me that she needs to transfer me over to the service advisors for me to talk to them. She tells me that they're all busy, but she'll put me on the "high priority" list to get a call back. Mind you, I had a 12 hour drive back down to Florida, so I didn't have time for call back. I ended up having to pay for an Uber to get to the dealership, and I go back to the service department to get my car and the advisors are all just standing around doing absolutely nothing. The intercom is calling out telling them they have a call on line 1 and no one is even looking at the phones, just blatantly ignoring the intercom. I was finally able to get my keys and car after 10 minutes of them whispering under their breath. Terrible experience here.

    This experience does not have a good beginning. After repeated phone calls that went unanswered and once being put on hold in which I received ads for Martin's Kia in Bowling Green, I decided to use the web site. It gave me an appointment date that was about a month and a half out , even using the chat feature. I had taken the Sonata Hybrid to Firestone who diagnosed trouble with the electronic steering assist coupler which was the culprit of a metallic clanging on the steering column each time the car hit a bump. I decided to visit the service department in person and fortunately connected with Mr. Tommy Clowers. When I told him my frustration, he listened and responded with, "When can you bring it in?" I was floored. I took the car in the following Monday, fully expecting to get the car back the next day. Instead it was ready before noon. I picked it up that afternoon and the car drove like new. The next day I received a text from Mr. Clowers who asked how the car was driving. Never have I had a service representative ever follow up like that before. The following day I received a call from him that the part was covered under warranty. This is extraordinary, thanks to this individual and the mechanics and technicians who work with him. I know what to do next time and would recommend this service to anyone who drives a Hyundai.

    Not happy with the service center at all. I am experiencing engine failure with my Hyundai Santa Fe. My car is barely drive able. I arrived when they opened today. The service center rep stated they could possibly get to my car today or tomorrow but can't provide a rental car while they have my vehicle. They lacked empathy for my situation and offered no assistance. Next available appointment at Cool Springs was April 19. What am I supposed to do with my car until then????!?? So frustrated

    At first everything was going well, the people were friendly and helpful. Recently though, I was told they were unable to continue to assist me or give me quotes because I was working also with another dealer. This seems weird to begin with but what makes it even more strange was that I was comparing different cars. Not even doing direct comparisons at different places, but rather different cars that the other dealer did not have. This location has an Accent coming in the other dealer did not, the other dealer had an Elantra SE which this dealer did not have. So because I was still figuring out what car I was going to buy they have stopped responding to me and told me they could not give me quotes.

    This was the only dealership where the sales representative (Michael Chaverst) always spoke directly to me about buying a car (in my name) rather than my fiancé. The people here were courteous and helpful. I ended up with a car I love and the whole process went really smoothly. The only reason I give 4/5 instead of 5/5 stars is because they initially misquoted the price of the car. However, they did discount the protective coating I wanted by half which partially made up for the price increase. Anytime they did make a mistake, they immediately acknowledged and corrected it to the best of their ability. They kept me informed every step of the way. I definitely recommend buying from them!

    Hello! I am a 21 year old female whose car was stolen on October 24, 2021 in East Nashville. The police recovered my car on November 5, 2021. The 2020 Hyundai Sonata was then taken to Downtown Hyundai for “minor” repairs on November 15, 2021. After many follow ups, call backs, and emails I was under the impression my car was in the process of being repaired. The diagnostic team declared my car repairable with a electrical computer complication. Many months go by while my and insurance adjuster and I continue to analyze the process of completion. It is now the first of February, and no process has been made. In fact, I have been getting the same “update” for three months. Please save yourself the trouble, and refrain from taking your car there.

    One week ago my life changed when I purchased a 2022 Hyundai Sonata Plus. I now have a stress free driving experience with a powerful but quiet ride and so many convenience and safety features. I came in the dealership as I was referred by my son to Chubby. His warm smile greeted me as I arrived. Since I originally wanted a used Lexus and hadn't considered a Hyundai, I was certain I would want a Genesis. Chubby let me look but said before I decided I needed to see the new Sonata. He pulled up the spage age looking 2022 Hampton Grey Sonata Plus. I thought it was an Aston Martin. Upon sitting inside with Chubby patiently and politely showing me all the features, I knew I had to have it. Chubby is awesome. The F&I manager,Michael, was worth the short wait as he had gotten me an incredible finance rate( Due to my excellent credit)and had everything ready. He wasn't pushy and we actually went ahead and purchased all the various warranties as my son wanted me to drive with no worries on maintenance and breakdown so he treated me on these! The GM that day was also helpful to walk me through the sound of the turbo and all the salespeople lots of fun. I brought them some donuts the next day I hope when I need service and maintenance it is also a pleasant experience and my advice to reader is go see them and find your dream car. They negotiated on the price of the new car but my only disappointment was I got a bit less than another dealer offered on my Honda Accord. Enjoy your new ride!

    My wife took the new car in for an oil change and tire rotation. She told them she would be waiting and sat nearby. She sat there almost 3 hours. No one told her that I he car had been finished hours earlier. She went into the garage and asked what was going on. No one seemed to know anything about where the car even was located. One of the service techs lied to her when asked how long ago they had finished and never apologized when she called him out on the lie. Loved our experience with the sales side, but couldn't have asked for worse from the service side.

This week I was pleasantly surprised with customer excellent service from Tyler and the mechanics. He kept me informed and my repair was done in good time.     I bought my car in 2018. Everything was very unorganized. They lost my license plate twice and my documents. Getting all of this figured out took SIX MONTHS. What made me decide to stop coming here for oil changes is the service department. It’s ridiculous. They say they do a multi point inspection but they do not. They never check anything. I had a break light out and they didn’t even say anything. They’ve never mentioned air filters, never looked at my brakes, etc. Then the REV rewards. Last time I came I asked to use my rewards to get some money off. The guy advised me I needed to wait until my 50,000 mile check up to do that, because it would “be more expensive.” So I did. Just asked today to use my rewards at my oil change. The girl working told me that mine are all expired and cannot be used. Are you serious? They never told me points expire. And the girl was so rude about it when I tried to ask for more information. They also had my information in the system wrong, go figure. I got charged $85 for an oil change and tire rotation and “multi point inspection” which they did not do. Service was awful and took an hour. I will not be coming back after repeated infractions and how unorganized this business is.

    Karl Willadsen was my sales rep in May 2021 and I purchased a new sonata. Even busy as he was I never felt rushed and he made sure my new car was setup to my phone and showed me all the safety features and programmed everything. I was treated with respect and kept well informed without pressure. The finance manager was also nice to me as I had not carried debt in decades and like to read before I sign and also did not rush me as for this car I did finance it.     My wife and I are travelling for a year in a small trailer, hauled by our Tucson. When our hitch broke in Nashville, 2000 miles from home, we called every Hyundai and camper repair shop around. They all said it would be 8-10 weeks, at the EARLIEST. However, the GM here, Tim Local, heard our plight and worked us in to get us mobile again within the week, ordering the part and squeezing us in the schedule.     While I love Hyundai cars, and currently own three, I have struggled with the service at both Downtown Hyundai and Cool Springs Hyundai to such an extent that I decided I would not buy another. The communication with the service department was awful from scheduling to completion. However, my most recent experience was completely different. I needed a major repair on my Equus. When the car was towed in, I was greeted by a young man named Tyler. He gave me his cell and kept me informed every step of the way. He was outstanding. He made the experience simple and stress free.     Geoffrey Booker must be complimented on his knowledge, concern, expertise, and overall service. I am only five months into moving from Washington DC to Nashville, and Geoffrey has further confirmed that southern hospitality is a real thing. Approximately five weeks ago, I started to have issues with the engine in my Hyundai Sonata. I brought it in to this dealership, not knowing what lay ahead. Unfortunately, the engine in my Sonata would have to be replaced. Due to the number of repairs, the dealership was short on loaner vehicles, thus rendering me car-less in a new city where I don't have family or friends. I told Geoffrey that I would be rendered car-less, making it challenging to navigate Nashville without one. He was immediately sympathetic to my concerns and offered some wise and helpful suggestions. He gave me the information to the Hyundai line that assisted customers with recalls. He reassured me that he would keep me updated on the progress of my repair and if there were any loaners available. By Geoffrey providing me with this information, I reached out to Hyundai Corporate and got the details on a rental car and Lyft/Uber reimbursements and to possibly have the parts expedited to the dealership. I was able to better prepare for this repair process due to Geoffrey going above and beyond. Furthermore, anytime I called the dealership and inquired about my car, Geoffrey made it a point to return my call. Being a new transplant to Nashville, Geoffrey made me feel like someone cared about my situation. Unbeknownst to him, his efforts and warm and friendly demeanor made me trust that everything was being done to get my car back. Initially, I was told that I could be without my car for up to three months due to issues beyond the dealership's control. To my surprise, I was called by Geoffrey to pick up my vehicle after only five weeks. I want to thank not only Geoffrey but the entire dealership for making this happen. I am beyond happy with my experiences with this dealership, especially Geoffrey. This dealership has a jewel in their service department with Geoffrey as a team member. I will exclusively recommend the Downtown Hyundai dealership.

    I called and requested a quote. I was informed that they couldn't provide a actual best price quote over the phone or through email I had to be there in person. This is obviously false as I have several other dealers who have provided quotes. I don't recommend dealing with dishonest car dealers when reputable ones exist. Edit 5/31/2021: Note how the dealer below once again has lied. Your policy not to provide pricing is not the same as can't provide pricing. You told me it was something you couldn't do, not something you were unwilling to do. The fact that you seem to think it is reasonable for me to drive two+ hours to hope that you actually have reasonable prices is silly. You're obviously free to run your business however you wish and had you honestly said we're unwilling to provide prices over the phone (which other Hyundai dealers have done and they haven't received this review) that would've been the end of it, but that isn't what you said. You lied in an attempt to pressure me into coming in. Edit 6/8/2021. I was eventually contacted by Downtown Hyundai's GM. He was apologetic and understood why I wouldn't want to drive all the way to Nashville (from Chattanooga) without a quote. He provided a quote. They weren't the best price but they did come close. I appreciate him getting back in touch with me. Overall experience wasn't the greatest because I had to jump through so many hoops and leave this review to actually get service, but I have improved my rating as eventually this got sorted.

This is not even close to being dishonest it it called how we run our business. I am not sure a 1 star review reflects your experience as you never gave up a a chance to give you an experience. We run a straight forward upfront honest reputable business. If you would show up to the dealership you will find we provide the best prices and the best services that are provided.
