Dover Federal Credit Union N Dupont Hwy, Dover

Literally the worst place I've ever had to do any banking. I can't even get ahold of anyone to make payments, unless I physically go into the store. Calling in? Wait on hold for 45 minutes and it disconnects. Make a payment online? Nope nothing online actually works correctly. Actually find a human to talk to? Transferred and put on hold indefinitely. Try to use the automated teller? It asks for random numbers and codes that I don't even have for my account and puts me back on hold. I've had a loan through these guys for over a year and I don't honestly know if I've hated doing business with anyone else as much as Dover Federal Credit Union. Employees are nice in person, the company itself just sucks for customer service besides that.

Great group of people here. All their locations are great but the Dover location is the best to me. Management is very understanding and will work with you to get things done. I highly recommend this location for both personal and business accounts. Apart from them being a Credit Union they are a very active local bank in the community which is what you look for in a bank.

Every week it’s something new with this bank as a whole.this week? An unexplained $100 hold on my paycheck? Preventing me to make my monthly car payment. Wth. Oh but it’ll be my fault not theirs. I could go on but I don’t have time to list all of the issues I’ve had.

I went in today to pay on my loan, just like I have for the past several years. Only difference was today the teller demanded I remove my hat, then pointed out a sign that read "no hats, hoodies or sunglasses". I imagine this sign is to protect people from nefarious behavior. But what is suspicious about a guy who comes in all the time with money in their hands? Am I going to rob the bank by paying my loan?? Then tell me if I don't comply in the future I'll not be allowed in. Dover Federal, Gtfoh.

Today at 9:06 at DuPont hwy branch I experienced the worst bank transaction in my life. This lady teller (I think ID 6076) obviously had no customer service training nor concern at all.She didn't greet me at all,didn't smile and didn't say thank you or goodbye.All she said was "what can I do for you...can I see your ID...sign this (receipt)...sign here (electronically),not in a nice way either.She obviously would rather be elsewhere. That's my SAAAD experience.

Absolutely worst experience here. Had to cash a check for a customer of mine, she used a different bank than usual. So she asked me to drive to DFCU. Upon entering the drive thru, I read the sign and it said they do cashing. After a 10 minute wait I get told I have to come inside because I don't have an account with them. No problem, I figured that was the case for security anyway. 15 minutes of waiting to be seen by a teller just for them to take 15 minutes more after taking my ID and social card to tell me that there is a 5$ fee and it will take even longer. Worst bank experience ever.

Dodged A Bullet with these guys was trying to open an account but after waiting 5 days and only hearing crickets I decided NOT to,I looked at the reviews and glad I didn't........

Wish l could give 0 stars. This bank is terrible with customer service, do NOT ever use them for a loan/title/anything other then a place to keep your money. Even then ld recommend finding a better bank. Something as simple as requesting a title cant even be done correctly. Customer service tells you one thing, the branch tells you something else, and no one returns phone calls. Cashiers check isnt the same as cash, but they seem to think so. This is the 2nd time lve ran into issues with this bank. The only person who was able to help me quit, probably because she was sick of doing other peoples jobs. You are much better off with another bank.

Use to love this place. Everything use to be smooth . now it just a pain to deal with this bank I don't use atm much but when I do their not working online banking is always having problems to the point their is money coming out of an account that it shouldn't for the 2 time take 40 min to get somone on the phone to help them everyone at lunch so they can't help so then have to once again come in to the bank witch is happening at least 3 times a month at no fault of mine and now sitting here waiting about 20 min to be seen . wasting my day and changing their policy of 3 party checks up due to the fact I didn't want a joint account they wanna give me issuse use to love this place no will be closing out my account here

Forgot my pin. Called the number on the back of my card while I was at a store so I can use my debit card. Waited for 20 minutes no one picked up my call. Called back after pressing 7 the operator said, let me take your name and number and have someone call you back. NO ONE DID. Horrible customer service. Stranded This is how DOVER FEDERAL CREDIT UNION treats active duty members smh
