Eryn White was the the person who helped me through the process of obtaining my first credit card. She helped me so much and took me very seriously, which is hard to find as an 18 year old female trying to start to build credit. Eryn helped my father and I to have better accounts and information as Dort members. My entire family and extended family all do their banking through Dort, so I have sat through many financial meetings and I can confidently say that Eryn has been the most kind, funny, and has given us the best overall customer service experience I’ve ever had at Dort.

Before coming to Dort Financial I did not trust credit unions. Rebecca Sitton changed that for me. She made me feel comfortable and changed my view on everything. Fantastic establishment. If I could give it 6 stars I would.

Cant get small loan but wants me to put my money in their accounts. No.

Originally went in to refinance a car and loved that they offer PLPD loans. Decided to open a checking account and the loan officer I set everything up with was very friendly. Unfortunately, there have been two really unapologetic problems that I wouldn't suggest most people overlook. The first is the unbelievably slow customer service phone number. It is a gaurentee that when you call, no matter what time it is, there will be a 30 minute wait time before getting to someone. In my head, a bank is a bank, and this bank offers anything else any other bank has to offer. So there isn't too much to judge each bank off of other than customer service and ease of banking. Unfortunately, the customer service is outrageous. I'd rather go to a branch and bank there, since it would take the same amount of time anyway. The second reason is because Dort has a policy on the number of transactions you can make in a day on one debit card. I found that out today AFTER pumping gas. They said this was not something they could increase. They said this is to prevent "fraud" but I'm pretty sure a simple dollar cap per transaction would suffice. I'd much rather have to call before buying a TV rather than no access to myoney after paying 9 bills then going out to eat. Really don't recommend going here unless you use checks the old fashion way.

Absolutely stellar customer service. Eryn White took the time to go out of her way to explain everything in detail and save me money on multiple things. Eryn and Dort Federal treat you like a valued customer and offer unbeatable rates and services. I do all my banking there now along with my auto loans and credit card.

Always focused on their customers! Credit Unions are the way to go, and Dort has always been there for me!

It is a very friendly place, they go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need financially.

They said you have been approved for your loan?I said so im 100%approved for the loan that I requested from Dort credit union?The young lady said definitely 100%?Then after I gave the go ahead for a home project that needed done they call two days later denying my loan 😒
