Having had such a great experience buying our Traverse from Diver, we expected nothing less when getting our hitch installed and we were not disappointed. Check-in was easy and the waiting room was clean and spacious. Every employee we have seen or interacted with has been friendly and helpful. Dave Gershman was amazing and beyond helpful from day 1. He constantly kept me updated on all aspects of the new vehicle. I never felt like I was a bother to him if I had questions or needed info. I went into the dealership after researching often on for a year. I knew that you all had the best inventory selection as well as some of the best prices. Since I and I thought this is with you all in the past, and only heard good things from other people, I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. I was greeted and escorted to someone to help me immediately because I did not know exactly what I wanted they sat with me until we figure out what would be the best fit. That person was Mark and not only was he not pressuring he was extremely gracious and helpful . This is my second leased vehicle from Diver … and, I’m sure to do more! Scott Fisher took great care of me, putting me in a Silverado, with everything I wanted, at a price that fit my budget. I even took delivery (unexpectedly) on the same day I signed the papers - right off the show room floor - real service. These guys, from the owner to the sales people, to the service reps and receptionists are real pros. I could even stay in the waiting room all day - it’s that comfortable. everyone is always friendly, honest, efficient. I think after a service job...you should rinse and/or wash the cars. This is a service done in other parts of the country. It's a nice amenity for bringing cars in to a dealership for service/

Requested an unscheduled check of an oil leak of Dave Witmer, he said he would have his mechanic check it out. Leak was discovered and resolved, fortunately some thing minor. From the second I walked in, I was greeted with kindness and respect. I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate your GM, Scott. He took amazing care of me both because of him being a great guy and also me being an RN working crazy shifts with a family that needed a reliable vehicle. I thought I wanted a Tahoe but after explaining my needs (kids that do travel softball all year as well as basketball and LOTS of driving) he recommended I sit with Dave Gershman to compare both the Tahoe and Suburban. After sitting with Dave, I put a deposit down on a Suburban site unseen. Unfortunately, there were no Tahoes or Surburbans on any lots in DE for a test drive. I was quite nervous putting down money on a car I’ve never driven, both both Scott and Dave reassured me that they would find me a Tahoe if I didn’t like the Suburban. Well, a month later the Suburban I put a deposit on came in. I’ve had it for 3 weeks and I absolutely LOVE it. We’ve driven to 2 softball tournament, one of southern VA and one in northern NJ. We all fit very comfortably including softball equipment, multiple chairs, a huge cooler, a small tent and all of our luggage. The car rides a bigger than my former traverse, but it’s smooth and easy to maneuver. I do have to tell you that I often get laughed at as my 5’1” 125 lb self climbs in and fires up my engine 🤣. Smaller stature girls can drive these cars too. Please thank Scott for frequently checking on me throughout my buying progress and pointing me in the right direction. Dave took a great deal of time to explain every option to me and after the car arrived, secretly programmed my seats for my height after my initial test drive. When I came back a few days later, my seats were all set - what a great move on his part for that extra bit of personalized service. Tom in finance sold me my traverse over 5 years ago. He immediately recognized me and was a rockstar explaining my options and what I could add to my warranty without overwhelming me. He also was able to secure a 1.9% interest rate. Thank you so much, Diver, for taking such care of a Mom and RN that needed safe and reliable transportation. You guys rock and I can’t say enough great things about my experience.

I called to have my vehicle serviced for what I believed was my transmission to be slipping. They advised they were busy and the earliest they could service my vehicle was about two weeks out on the 28th of March. I did a overnight drop of my vehicle on March 27th. I received a call the morning of March 28th, for a brief run down of what was going on with my vehicle, I spoke with Steve in the service center who advised that someone would be looking at my car to see what was going on with it, advised that my vehicle was still covered under warranty, asked me when I needed my vehicle back I advised Wednesday March 30th. On Tuesday March 29th, I called in for a update, I was advised that my vehicle still hadn't been looked at, nor had there been a road test yet, it will be looked at and determined if parts needed to be ordered or not. On Wednesday March 30th, I called for a update and I was told the vehicle STILL hasn't been looked at, or taken for a road test. I'm very upset. I scheduled my vehicle to be serviced on Monday the 28th, and its Wednesday the 30th and my vehicle still has not been touched. I would be a little less annoyed if it had atleast been being looked at or worked on but its just been sitting! Had there been no availability for my vehicle to be serviced I should have never been told I had an appointment on Monday March 29th. On top of that I'm never directly contacted about these delays or updates (or lack there of), I usually take my vehicle to be serviced at the Chevrolet dealership in Newark, this is only my 2nd time at the Wilmington location , and I'm very disappointed. I'm not sure I'll be returning after this.

brought in my 2015 Silverado for an intermitted no crank and radio and GPS problem. After picking it up the very next day it would not crack that was Friday. Today is Sunday and it has done it 4 more times and the radio and GPS are still doing the same thing also.

Out of the 4 car-buying experiences in my lifetime this is the first one in which I have felt motivated to leave a review. After weeks of searching for a fair deal on a 2021 WRX STI in Bergen County New Jersey, I decided to expand my search to neighboring states and the deal I found at Diver Chevrolet was an absolute steal. When I got in contact with Doug Diver I immediately got the sense that he was not a typical salesman interested in squeezing a buck out of me. Every aspect of our communication was focused on maximizing the convenience of my car buying experience. At the time I reached out to Doug I was immobile due to a broken right ankle and I was in the midst of trying to gather funds from various sources for the down payment. Doug graciously offered to put the car on hold for me and take it off the market in exchange for a totally reasonable CC deposit. He even offered to provide garaging for me since I would be unable to pick up the car due to my broken ankle (which would be unheard of in my area) for a few weeks. When I was finally able to get myself down to Delaware to pick up the car, I mentioned that I was under an unreasonable time constraint and the whole staff of Diver Chevrolet (including Doug, Clay, and others) worked like a well-oiled machine to streamline everything so I could be in and out within 30 minutes. Thanks to their attention to service, the total amount of time I spent on this car purchase (including the drive from North Jersey to Delaware) was probably less than the time I spent purchasing a Jeep from a local dealership last year. I would thus highly recommend anyone from New Jersey to consider buying their car from Diver Chevrolet in Delaware. You will save time in the end and probably feel better about the overall experience. Thanks again for everything Doug! I'm loving the new car!

They explained all of the safety features in great detail so that I can feel confident that I am putting my family in the best vehicle possible. Since I started bringing my vehicle here regularly back in 2015-2016, I have always been pleased except for the last few times I had services performed. I already addressed the concerns regarding these previous visits with Manager Jeff Knoll. On this most recent visit, I was displeased to learn that I needed rotors IN ADDITION to new brake pads. I asked the service advisors on several prior visits about the need to replace the brakes. I was adamant that I wanted to replace pads early enough so that I wouldn’t have to also replace the rotors. They replied it was not necessary. Now they say I needed rotors anyway. I’m starting to lose trust with the last several experiences. I used to recommend this place to all my family, friends, patients, and colleagues. The price for an oil change was $39.95 when I first became your customer in 2015-2016. Now it’s $69.95!!! It doesn’t appear that this business is moving in the right direction. If things don’t improve, I will be looking for another mechanic.

My husband and I had been talking about buying a new car for a while now and decided it was the right time. I have not bought a new car in almost 10 years so I felt new to the process again. Hands down the best dealership I have ever dealt with. From my first interaction with Thomas Pierce on my inquiry via the website ; to my transaction and delivery at the dealership with David Gershman. Diver is one of the few dealers not marking up prices. Not only are they not marking up prices but they are looking to apply discounts that you qualify for. The Traverse is great and I was in and out of the dealership in 30 minutes. Great experience I would highly recommend Diver especially Tom Hildebrandt.

We met with a really good sales man, Tom H. He walked us through ordering our new vehicle and ordered exactly what we wanted. He kept in contact with us through the process to update us on the status of our vehicle. It came in during the window we expected if not a little earlier. My wife and I visited Diver Chevrolet on 4/1/22 looking for a new 2022 Chevrolet Equinox. After multiple helpful communications with a digital sales associate, Thomas, we arrived that evening to see their vehicles. We were introduced to Mark Thompson who pointed us to the vehicles. Clearly very knowledgeable and experienced, Mark answered any questions that we had and arranged to have the 'Nox taken off the showroom floor for a test drive. Joe snatched it off the showroom and we were out and about! After the test drive, we decided to purchase the Iron gray metallic with the beautiful two-toned jet black/maple sugar interior in the Premier trim level. Unlike some dealerships, the price was not inflated above the MSRP due to the high market demand currently. As such, we traded in our old vehicle and just happened to catch the last day of the 0% APR promotion that happened to be running at the time. We sat down with Tom Reale and quickly buzzed through the paperwork to finalize the deal. From start to finish, the process was outstanding at this dealership. The dealership is clean, attractive, and the staff, specifically Mark, was extremely professional and welcoming. I would highly suggest this dealership to anyone in the market for a vehicle, and I would further suggest contacting Mark Thompson to assist you. If/when we make another Chevrolet purchase in the future, we will be returning customers!

TLDR; The exact reason why you should deal with small auto shops instead. Having already identified the problem with my car, I was simply looking for a quote. They quoted me $750 more than the next dealer over and charged me $165 for 2 minutes of diagnostics, something I did not ask for or need. My car was held hostage until I paid up. Detailed account below: It's one thing to have unsuccessful repair performed on your car. It's another to have no work done on your car and then charged an unreasonable amount for it. Having already confirmed the problem with my car, I was in the process of calling around for quotes. I began my search with my local dealer, Diver Chevrolet, who told me that before they could give me a quote they wanted to run some diagnostics. I told them I didn't need diagnostics because the problem is already pinned down, and I'm just looking for a quote. After many back and forths, I was conned into letting them look at my car, lulled into the false verbal promise that they would work with me and be reasonable on the diagnostic fee. To reiterate, I never wanted a diagnostic run, I simply wanted a quote. Diver Chevrolet spent about 2 minutes diagnosing my car, and then called me back and told me exactly what I had already told them, literally giving me zero new information. They then charged me $165 for the two minutes of their time and unreasonably quoted me $750 higher than the next dealer over. I asked to speak with manager Jeff Knoll to see if he would be reasonable as they promised. To my dismay, rather than waiving the bogus fee and valuing customer satisfaction, he was completely inflexible. Diver Chevrolet had the opportunity to build goodwill with a community member, but instead used their corporate muscle to strong-arm me into paying their unreasonable fee. Congratulations to them - they squeeze a little extra money out for their monthly numbers, but at what cost? Having spent mere seconds on diagnostics, a service that I did not even ask for, any small shop would have waived the fee entirely, or at least allowed me to apply the cost toward the repair. Diver Chevrolet chose to hold my car hostage until I paid up.

Some repairs are easily and confidently estimated over the phone, other more complex repairs we are not comfortable quoting until we are afforded the opportunity to inspect the vehicle and confirm what repairs are necessary. Vehicles with high mileage can present unique challenges that we cannot anticipate and account for with out inspecting it. Your vehicle and the repair requested falls into this category. It was great we walked into the show room and the lady at the door greeted us. She asked if we needed someone right away or if we just wanted to look around first. I saw a Traverse and that's what I wanted to look at and she said fine take your time and she would get someone if I had any more questions. Scott Fisher was actually sitting next to the vehicle and when I opened the vehicle door to sit in it, he asked if I wanted to drive one. I said sure and he said he would get on out of the garage for me to test drive. I waited a few minutes, and he can back in the show room and said he has one outside. we went out and he gave me the keys and said take a ride. I drove around the block a few times and came back. He went over the options in that vehicle and said there were a few others available. He was not pushy he was not in a rush and gave me his card and said think about the vehicle and call if we needed any other info. I made a mistake by not locking that vehicle in, I came back 3 days later and it was gone. I talked to Scott about a week after that I saw on the site 2 more coming in, but not equipped the same. They were a different color , so I went in and put down my deposit I didn't want to miss out this time. it was missing a few options , but we really like our new Chevy Traverse. I was in the market for a new 2022 C8 Corvette. My neighbor recommended that I go to Diver Chevrolet. He had purchased his 50th anniversary Camaro from Diver and was pleased with the transaction and dealer service after the sale. At Diver I was directed to Scott Fisher. Scott was easy to work with he answered all my questions and concerns. One concern was how much room there was in the C8 for driver and passenger. Scott get permission to let my wife and me examine a Diver employee's C8 Corvette. I was satisfied that I could get in and out of the Vette without a shoe horn. When my C8 came in Scott had all the paper work taken care of. After a few signatures Scott gave me the keys to my C8 showed me all the bells and whistles and and how to operate them. Went in, picked out the Camaro 2SS, received EXPERT level assistance during sales, finance and features presentation. NOT oddly enough, the cleanliness, friendliness and access to facilities was perfect as usual. One item of note was, my salesperson Dave, had our all season tires ordered, on the deal, and had a time set up to put them on in a single day. A day. One. I do not have to worry but November weather. That same effort at BMW took 6 weeks. Always a pleasure buying cars from Diver.

So 1.5 months after purchase of new car I went over paperwork to send my other cars warranty the info so I could get my money back on the left over warranty when I realized I was ripped off and not give my actual trade in value I was guaranteed. Almost $1000 less then I was told. I called and I was sent paperwork that was doctored to show in their favor. Never again will I step foot in this dealership and I will never recommend it. I was taken advantage of because they knew I was in a rush. I spoke to someone about it and it was just blown off. I am one of the most honest people and would never lie about something like this!!

I was able to easily schedule an appointment with the service writer. The intake process is streamline with concierge drop off. I was able to discuss my issues with the service manager and describe my concerns. I was given an update after checking the vehicle for my concerns and apprised of the costs. Unfortunately one concern, the mechanic was unable to have my vehicle duplicate my concern (bashful misbehavior) even after we took it out on a test drive together. The car was delivered in a timely manner following the repair.

To everyone in the Philadelphia-metro and surrounding suburbs, it is well-worth the drive into Wilmington to buy from the Diver Team. I say team because all three of the people my wife and I worked with for our Silverado purchase worked WITH US, to get the best price/fit possible. Sara in their internet sales department, Ian our Client Advisor and Tom in Financing made the process smooth and professional. Using their online inventory list, we were able to find a truck that we wanted, worked out the pricing with Sara, met Ian to test drive and educate us on the specific features of the truck and wrapped up the visit with Tom. Because the negotiations were done with Sara, via text and email, and we pre-applied online with Diver for credit approval, it was completely, C O M P L E T E L Y, void of the typical car-sale tension, delays and inevitable "Well, I'll need to review this with my Manager". We knew what the price would be, and the % interest before we even walked into the dealership. THEN GET THIS - when handed off to Tom, he actually got us a BETTER % RATE AT THE SAME TERM - that put money back in our pocket! And here is the real kicker - this all took place within less than 12 hours. Our first communication with Sara was at 9:00 AM, and by 8:00 PM that same day, we were leaving Diver, all paperwork finalized and signed. I wish all my car buying experiences were as gratifying as the one we just had at Diver Chevrolet. Well, they will be from now on - Ian, see you next year for that new Bolt!!

We had purchased a Chevy Bolt in November, 2017 from Diver Chevy and loved the car. We talked the vehicle up to anyone who would listen and sent customers to Diver. There was a recall on the car that reduced the range that made it unusable for our use case. So, we initiated a Lemon Law Buyback with GM. Due to numerous issues due to the overall supply chain situation, our case fell through the cracks and we had filed a negative review because the process was taking 4 months and it appeared no one was taking ownership. A few hours later, the owner of Diver called me to get more information on the issue and immediately marshaled his staff, and the GM Regional Rep to get our buyback processed ASAP. Everything has gone smooth and we are picking our new Bolt EUV today! Moral? Things fall through the cracks, but at the end of the day, Diver will work the problem until it is solved and make sure the customer is satisfied!

I had a very good experience at Diver. They were able to do a buyback for my Bolt and process me purchasing a new Bolt during a single, relatively stress-free visit. Unlike many other dealerships, they actually know about electric vehicles. They did not add an additional fee to the cost of the car for not financing, a big pet peeve of mine. Overall a very positive experience.
