Steve & his entire team are amazing! I have a new real estate investment company here in DC and I flipped/assigned my first contract for a vacant property here in DC. I closed with District Title on May 30th, 2022. They understand wholesaling, investor financing, assignment fees and getting you the most money or saving money on a deal. His team flows together seamlessly in how they work and communicate with each other. Everyone of them, shout to Darryln & Karlen who worked with me directly in processing my deal, deliver top notch customer service with amazing attention to every single detail. Out of all the settlements I have been through, District Title was the most competent and user friendly title company. I used them on two nearly simultaneous closings recently, where I sold a property and then bought a new property on the same day. The staff did a great job circulating paperwork and answering questions quickly in the days leading up to settlement. With difficult sellers and seller's agent, Steve Sushner handled it well by carefully explaining everything part of the process to them and making sure everyone was comfortable with the settlement.

Stand clear of this place - I'm speaking regarding employment opportunities. One of the worst in the business, Owner of the company is rude, disrespectful and has no indication of a solid and capable employee. All the stories are true, he is a screamer, disrespectful and the only reason he is still in business is because his clientele see's this place as convenient. Thank you for telling me I have applied to you for over 10 years, LOL, it was because I thought your company may be a place for me to ground my feet in and make a home, but I see that this was one of my worst decisions ever. Your company is one of the only companies in this area who is ALWAYS looking for PROCESSORS and the reason why is because you don't know how to treat PEOPLE. When you learn to consider your employees as PEOPLE, that make you MONEY and are valuable, maybe you can keep some good ones!!! Happy New Years!!!

As a real estate attorney, I cannot speak highly enough of Steve and his staff at District Title. I have been involved in numerous closings at District Title over the years and they are always handled professionally and with great attention to detail. I have done a number of closings with District Title. They also handle condo conversion paperwork for ALL of my projects. I've never been let down by a company with more than 4 stars than I was by District Title. They handled the closing on the sale of my home, and it was a messy affair. While a lot of roadblocks are understandable in such a process, I found the communication of District Title to be very poor. I hope they seek to improve on that. I have tried to contact them weeks ago for tax documentation now that certain pieces are missing (property tax information) on my 2019 filing, no response. I highly recommend going somewhere else with your business.

Steve and the District Title office get you to the finish line every time. They are knowledgable about the business and add a ton of value ensuring a smooth closing.
