*** BUYERS BEWARE *** DHI Mortgage is by far the worst mortgage company I have ever worked with. Problems started at the top with branch manager, Courtney Johnson, and rolled down hill from there. Johnson does not return phone calls or emails in a timely manner, and when you are able to contact him, it seems like you’re a burden. Getting updates from him, Steve McBride, or any of their processors is a nightmare. It feels like Johnson and his team are just punching a time clock and do not care about the client. Anyone purchasing a home with DR Horton should use an outside lender.

Excellent service throughout the process of buying a home. David was incredibly responsive and very professional. He even helped me save money and went out of his way to explain concepts I was not familiar with as my loan was being approved (it was my firs time buying a home). The title company they work with is also a huge help. While I was filing my taxes they also went out of their way to provide numbers which prevented me from having to dig through the piles of paper you leave with after buying a home! DHI is highly recommended!!

Above and beyond is what you get when working with Alfred as your Loan Officer at DHI Mortgage! Alfred and his entire team made the home buying process easy and stress free. Being a first time home buyer I wasn’t knowledgeable in where to start for my home loan approval. With Alfred’s guidance along with my due diligence to provide everything requested he allowed my dream of being a home owner to come true. The communication was always clear with responses from him and his team within a day and I ultimately got everything I needed in a short amount of time to purchase a home. I highly recommend Alfred!

Everything ran very smoothly with my whole mortgage process. Everyone was professional throughout. I had high expectations and Matt Smothers knows how to follow through. I was surprised how smoothly the DHI operation ran. It was a solid experience.

First time home buyer and the team really went out of there way to help get the documents they needed. I wasn't the easiest to work with but Matt was there each step of the way. You only hear about the bad on these things but the team was nice and a good steward of my time. Would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

Our first time home buying experience could not have been any more seamless than it was with Matt Smothers. He was patient, thorough with his explanation, and always a phone call away when I needed something, or simply had a question. Our closing was not easily to say the least, as we had errors on both our part, as well as the appraiser, but Matt was very gracious while helping us get the problems resolved in a timely manner. I give DHI a 12 out of 10, and will absolutely without a doubt use their company again again with my future home buying needs!!

Unforgettable Experience! I don’t normally take the time to write reviews, but I cannot pass up the opportunity to share my experience with Nicole. Nicole was amazing to work with, not only from a service perspective, but she also made it an experience that I will never forget. As a first time home buyer, I was a bit overwhelmed by the home loan process, but Nicole walked me through every step of the way and I could not be more grateful for what she did for me. Her response time was incredible, her attention to detail, and the knowledge that she shared was something that I have never witnessed or experienced. In the future, Nicole will be the only person I will work with because she has my best interest in mind and I know I will be taken care of.

I have to give props to the team at DHI mortgage especially to Jason my loan officer and Rick my loan processor. Buying your first home is so stressful and they made the process as stress-free as possible, they where extremely professional and they are super busy all the time but still managed to get back with me via email or phone every time, I was never in the dark to what was going on. Would recommend them over any other lender.

Terrible experience! Dont go with this company. Loan Docs not processed right away. List could go on and on with mistakes made. Most importantly, Purchasing a home is already a stressful process. Going with this company will add to that stress every single day before closing. If you ever get there. Go with someone else!

Matt Smothers and Matt Patterson were easy to work with, knowledgeable and professional. The patience practiced with us as first time home buyers trying to learn as much as possible was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!
