Words cannot describe how disappointed and dissatisfied I am with the work ethic that exists at the DHG Greenville Branch, headed up by Catherine Stoddard. From the client’s perspective, I was provided Zero instruction regarding the type of information needed to conduct a successful and cost effective search. During the first call I made to Catherine Stoddard I spent over an hour explaining the important details of my situation for which I was charged over $500.00. After hearing the details of my case Catherine should have turned it down. At the end of the phone call she should have admitted she did not have the qualifications nor experience to take the case. Instead, she conveniently ignored the details of my situation and proceeded to bill me close to $30,000.00 with absolutely no results. A red flag went off during that first conversation. I wish I had acted upon it. I asked Catherine if it would be helpful for me to create a spreadsheet to show apartment units that repeatedly appear in my search. In her response she said ‘ it was too hard to recover hidden assets from apartment units, but if you want to create a spreadsheet and have my staff work on it too, that’s more money for me.’ Moral of this story: trust your instincts; not everyone has your best interest at ♥️
