Derek started the pre-approval process with me early to review all of my documentation and ensure I'd be ready to go when I found the right home. Derek is an excellent communicator and checked in with me weekly with an update. If I needed anything or had a question, I could email/text/call him and would get a response back fairly quickly. I never once doubted that he had everything under control and would get me to the closing table. His processor, Nicole, was also very helpful throughout, quick to respond to questions, and thorough with the paperwork. New construction can be complicated and our deal was no exception, but my loan was the one part of the process I didn't worry about because I trusted that I was in great hands.
