Don't know why this dealer has bad reviews. Yes they're small so there service department is small. So wait times and appointments might be more difficult then a large dealership. BUT they do quality work. And buying a car with them is an amazing experience especially in this market. Don't want to pay 10-20k addons and market adjustment for a hellcat? Come here and place an order. You have a peace of mind shopping here. They don't play games. You don't agree on a deal then go to sign paper work and the deal is completely different. They plain and simple do not try to screw you. I've bought many cars and this dealer is one of the last dealers that operate on honesty

Went to dependable looking to purchase my first vehicle. I definitely made the right choice coming here. Jeff went above and beyond. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Walked out of there feeling great about my purchase. Definitely recommend coming here for any first time buyers or anyone who is looking for a new car.

Very important, if you need a reliable shop to do some service work or body shop, try to go to a reliable one but not this one. Here is why: 1. I scheduled for service (oil change): They forgot about my appointment and I had to wait extra long. Work was decent. 2. Warranty/body shop work: I found corrosion on my car since it is still within warranty "Alex" took care of it but what he did was really unprofessional. He submitted everything according to him and I had to call a couple times before getting an answer if it is covered by warranty. I called and after it was granted I had some weeks coming up when I had no time to drop off my car and I asked Alex if we have any time limitations since I am travelling etc. He said no, unless 5 year warranty on that part! Great! So the next time I called to set an appointment up he said I will get a rental car, so I asked if this will work out when I bring the car tomorrow (I wasn't able to schedule a week ahead with this guy at all). He said he will give me a call back. Never happened. A few weeks later I called and asked about it and he told me it is over 90 days, he has to re-submit. I clearly asked exactly about timely limitation and he did not mention this. Another example of how sloppy this shop works. No recommendation and I will not go back. It was painful over and over and the signs were very clear. A very disappointment experience.

The service Department has been behind for sometime now. Understandable, (Circumstances Withstanding) Once you get here, The Experience is Great Overall. Carlos was Great!

just bought a used 2014 honda odyssey with this dealer last week and of course the most helpful man, true to his word and Honest. KEVIN is the name.. and also even after sales i complain a noise, still again so helpful. smooth and fast transaction and nice staff...5 stars for this dealer. Dont forget always look for KEVIN and Derek. and regarding on there service, i brought my 2018 jeep compass for oil change and tire rotation, service is awesome, when doing service look for David..all in all Great Customer Service

Jeff Toczynski sold us our car. Pleasant, helpful, thorough, and best part we were out of there in about 2 hrs with no pressure. Also, the was really nice and appreciated our business. The lady in finance (I am sorry I forgot here name) was extremely organized which helped get us through the process quickly. We went to Van Nuys dealership and our experience at Dependable Dodge far and away superior!

Staff was somewhat dismissive via text conversation, friendly & attentive in person. Reason for the 1 star rating (which can be fixed) is that they shook my hand & promised me several times that my second key fob for my '14 Jeep Grand Cherokee would be overnighted on Wednesday 9/22/21. I've asked the salesman that helped me (Kevin) for the tracking number several times. My most recent conversation with him yesterday (9/26/21) he assured me that my secondary key fob was mailed out on time and that he would provide tracking information today (9/27/21). I do understand that things happen and things tend to get forgotten... but to not do what was promised after asking several times (I've lost track of how many times we talked about this) is somewhat unprofessional & highly irritating. Hoping that Dependable Dodge will correct this issue. When I receive my secondary set of keys for my purchase, I will change & update this review. As of now, I recommend that potential car buyers go elsewhere.

I called in to make appointment for oil change they told me no need just come in first come first serve but was not the case, I went to the dealer and they told my they booked for all day.

Jeff (salesman) and Derek (GM) were so accommodating throughout the process! They helped me custom order my dream car, made sure I didn't get stuck with a bad lease and didn't force me to buy any add-ons unnecessarily. They were also constantly checking in with me while I was patiently waiting for the car to come to the dealer. I would 100% recommend this dealer to a friend or family member, and will likely buy another car from them in the future.

Car shopping right now is a frustrating experience. I couldn't find the car I wanted anywhere local, so I looked farther away and DCDJR showed the one I wanted in transit. I contacted Kevin and Derek and they were great - I made a deposit, we worked out the details, and they contacted me as soon as the car arrived. We set up a date for me to drive down and everything went smoothly. Buying process was great, they made sure the tank was full and it was fully charged. Took the time to make sure I understood how to access and use all the features that came with the car, made sure my kids had access to entertainment for the ride home, and followed up several times to make sure that I was satisfied with the vehicle. I would recommend working with Kevin and Derek for a great car purchasing experience.

I give 5 stars the highest for this auto dealer, they helped us a lot to get a car that suits our need. We got a honda odyssey 2014 exl Kevin and Derek helped us to get it in a very smooth way. They are super considerate and knows what we need. They are very good and nice people to transact with. We dont have any problems with the processing and we are so happy can't even believe that we got a new car! Even there aftersales they really took care of it seriously. Kudos to David in the service department. Our son was stranded in California when his van broke down in Malibu. Since he camps in it he was homeless. While the service department was very busy, and we didn't have an appointment, David personally inspected the vehicle to provide a timeline. He worked tirelessly to get the van in shape, and road test it for safety. He turned a disaster into a positive experience. Thank you David and the service department for fixing Nicholas' Promaster 2500 in such a speedy timeframe.

Bought my Jeep Renegade here a few months ago and had a pretty great experience all around, after having a pretty bad experience at one of the larger dealer 'factories' nearby. Was my last stop late in the day near their closing time, but Jeff was super friendly and helpful. I'll admit I was a pretty easy customer as I was in love at first sight with the one I wanted, but absolutely no pressure or icky tactics on their part. Everyone made the process easy, and they even stayed open later so we could finish the deal. Highly recommend checking out this smaller dealership with a friendly neighborhood feel if you're in the market.

Very happy with the customer service at Dependable CDJR. Went in with a beater, left with a heater. JON B. let me test drive a few of the cars on the lot, then sat me down, going above and beyond with scenarios working within my budget to get me what I wanted. He made it work. I thought it would stop there, but the Manager and Owner really went out of there way to help me through the process. Not my first run around buying a car, and this was by far the best. It helped that they were all very handsome and charming - they didn't even charge for that!

I was in desperate need of assistance installing my new license plates both; front and back of the car. The dealership where I bought the vehicle had also failed to install the front plate temporary (paper) plates. As I was driving down Canoga Park, I noticed the dealership and decided to go in. Derek (GM) was very welcoming and though I expressed the vehicle was not bought at this particular dealership was very professional and helpful. He soon called in the Service Department Technician, Juan. Juan was a gem, very polite, helpful and fixed my plates issue in a jiffy. Even though this was the first time I have been to this dealership, the time I spent there provided me to experience top notch service. I will definitely be coming back for future purchases. I highly recommend them.

Worst experience ever. I have tried calling for a service and I have left messages and talked to the appointment person, they take my number and name and never call me back. I spoke to one of the co-owners, and explained what is going on, he said that he would take care of it. Well he apparently just handed my name and number to the Manager that has been ignoring my message, and we lost connection and he never called me back. When I tried calling back, his answering machine was full and could not leave a message. I decided to start all over again by calling and leaving messages and no one is calling me back for an appointment. This has been going on for the one month. The worst experience ever. I never had these issues with the FORD and LINCOLD dealerships. I will never buy a Dodge just because of their service. NEVER EVER. Going back to Lincoln. The owners of this dealership don't even care. I will be driving to Simi in the meanwhile to get the service I needed. Well one of the owners responds right here and asks me to call. Well the problem is when we call the service department no one calls back. So how can I call to talk about this. As I mentioned in my original post, that one of the owners told me he would get the bottom of it. All he did was hand my number to the Automotive Manager. I missed his call and called him back in 10 minutes. Lost the connection, he never called me back and I could not leave a message. Check all the messages we left including several messages for the appointment female you have working and she never calls back just like your service manager.

I purchased a Jeep in April. The car has been great; the service, not so much. For three months now, I've been receiving emails from CarFax saying I am overdue for an oil change. That seems hard to believe. I have contacted Dependable Dodge many times in many different ways to learn the date and mileage of the last oil change before I bought the Jeep. No one has ever gotten back to me. Not once. Hello, is anybody reading this?
