Delta Community Credit Union Peachtree Pl, Atlanta

My girlfriend's account was stolen from, over a hundred dollars taken out for a cell phone company she doesn't do any business with. Delta closed the account, started an investigation, and assured us that the account was completely closed off and no one could pull money from her other accounts. Not only has it been over a week and they still haven't returned the money, but it happened again! Literally what they said wouldn't happened ended up happening; someone pulled from her compromised account again, and overdraft protection took the money from another account! They have no security, no idea what they are talking about, and are super slow to return stolen money, if they'll return it at all.

Be careful when setting up credit card payments: I recently set up checking and savings accounts, and then used the checking to autopay 2 of my credit cards. Even though funds were in my account, the autopay inexplicably declined, and no one from Delta bothered to contact me about it. I received automated emails, but if you don't check your email or online account often enough you can get yourself into trouble. UPDATE: Delta attaches 4 useless digits to the end of your checking account number when in online banking. If you include these numbers in your credit card payments, your payments will automatically decline, but not for some time, so it's hard to notice. I'm not sure why Delta would do anything this ridiculous, but it's the second blunder they've had in my first 5 or so months. On the bright side, Delta facilities are clean and well-staffed. To the owner who responded to my review: If you'd like me to take down my review, fix your web site and I'd be happy to.

Ratchet, time wasters, selling dreams. Business indended for poor working crowd to drain them out of their last pennies and to rob them out the precious time by creating a fake hope.

Terrible community service. Waited 30 mins with no attention paid to me whatsoever. Funny how your own people treat you in the “community”.

I’m am sending this with a heavy heart, because I love Delta Community Credit Union as a whole, and have referred several friend to create accounts at Delta Community Credit Union. All other branches have always accommodated me and are wonderful to work with in the same situation as I am about to describe. I went into the Peachtree Place branch in Atlanta on Nov. 2nd and made a deposit into my business checking account. The branch manager Angela Moon only allowed the release of a small amount of the deposit, I requested that a larger amount be released a little over half of the amount deposited. I was denied access to the money for the reason that “a check from that account has never cleared my account”. I explained that almost every month I have deposited money from that specific account, and gave a specific date of a said deposit. No change in the result. This will cost me almost $200 as I will incur a payment penalty as I need access to the money no later than tomorrow. (The hold is 2 days) After leaving the branch I called DCCU and asked if there was anything the agent on the phone could do, she was awesome and called on my behalf, Angela told her that there is nothing she would do. It is a shame that some people have a customer service position and do not get what that means. I have been a DCCU member fir 10+ years and it is a shame that 1 person from 1 Branch puts a stain on all DCCU branches. Although this is my most convenient location I will never return to that branch. It is not the first time I have walked out of that specific branch disappointed!

Don't get an account with them. It is impossible to close it. I had an account with them 8 years ago they kept over-drafting my checking and aggregating charges on credit card until now. Can't close it over the phone. Can't close it online. You need to walk to their branch (which is fun when you move out of Georgia) or send a signed request via usps letter and probably deliver with a pigeon, so their 1800s systems can understand what you want.

Horrible and waste of time, never rely on this unserious folks because you'd have wished you went elsewhere in the first place. The only thing they won't ask of you is your health status and insurance. Rubbish!

Excellent credit union, I highly recommend it for regular banking, mortgage and car loans, I’ve done it all with this bank. Great interest rates and top customer service!

I opened a mortgage account with Delta because their rates were competitive and the process was extremely organized. I had no idea that the general interactions with the branches and representatives over the phone would be the complete opposite. The general operators are inconsistent in their knowledge and just overall unhelpful. It doesn't stop there I realized when I visited the branch on Peachtree and literally spoke with a supervisor who failed to follow up on my requests twice. I don't recommend this credit union at all.

Great central location. Glad to have fairly easy access, parking, and a drive through option. They have a coin machine which makes depositing large amounts of coins much easier than rolling them as many banks make you do before they will accept the deposit. I use the shared branch program which has made my life so much easier as I am fairly new to Atlanta and still use a Credit Union that is located out of state. The staff here has always been friendly and efficient. It has been my 'go to' branch for some time now.
