    I finally decide to give a review to this Del Norte bank after having an account with them for 7 years. First experience: A completely different check with different account name and number was used to withdraw money from my account. It was solved and money was put back to my account. 2nd experience: went to deposit money, they count many times in their machine, money got stuck in the machine several times then those teller went backside to count the money and came out $10 short. When we count by hand it was $20 short. I told them so many times that 2 people have counted them 4-5 times it should not be short but they just did not listen and end up depositing $20 less. 3rd: Finally I decide to close the account and of course the teller doesn’t care at all to see if he/she can do something to solve this problem. The worst experience in banking business.

    Pretty bad customer service. On hold for over 30 minutes and when I leave my number for them to call back, they never do. I have 3 loans with this bank and am currently shopping them all. Being nice to your customers goes very far DNCU!

    I want to thank a teller their on 3286 Cerrillos Rd branch. I think I may be wrong on her name. URSELA maybe. she had black hair, jeans black maybe blue shirt. I had green slacks a black shirt I had to get a new debit card do to a fraud charge they flagged. She handled it very quickly during my 12 noon break she was very polite and nice! This has been my bank for about a year and a half, honestly I would rather find another one but I like that they are a credit union they just need to work on what they will actually help people with, and you have to really need something to sit through their long lines sometimes.

    I've been trying for a year to get access to my account online and through their app so I wouldn't have to call in to do everything (there is not a branch office in my town). Each time I was told I was good to access my account I found my account locked. I would call them again, they would tell me my account was good, and still my account would be locked. Then several months ago I called wanting to pay off my car loan. The operator was able to give me my payoff amount, but was not able to take the payment herself. She said she left a message on my account and that someone would get back to me. After a week, still no call. I called back, again asking to pay off my car loan. Again, the operator said they couldn't take my payment and that they would message the clerk who could and they would call me to take care of it. I never got a call. Way too much frustration and unresolved issues.

    This credit union has the most pathetic customer service I've ever dealt with. I spoke to 4 different representatives to simply get my title sent to me after the loan was paid off.. Then they said it was in the process for 10 days.. I'm absolutely positive this company only hires people with learning disabilities. Be smart and go elsewhere. Buncha clowns.

The funds that are used to pay off a loan must clear from issuing financial institution before we can process the title. We are sorry that this was not clearly explained to you.

    Just want to share how grateful I am for the staff and management at this branch. Everyone is always very helpful and nice when I come visit. I also appreciate them helping me getting on the right track so that I can become a homeowner. Shoutout to Karmella Apodaca-Vigil, she is really great, and is honest on what path is best suited for your long term financial goals. Never have I made as much progress towards my goals credit wise, until I joined DNCU. I started going here because it was close to my house and had positive experiences from day one. Even their drive thru is quick and easy. I called into the call center because I had a quick question and was very impressed. It took less than 10 minutes to get connected, and the woman who I spoke to was very knowledgeable and helpful. I was also very impressed she took the time to truly verify my identity. Aside from the usual identity verifying questions, she took the time to ask me my security question. In my experience at another institution, they often forgot to do that, which was one of the main reasons why I left. Just really positive experiences all around. Way to go DNCU for hiring efficient, kind, competent people. I also really appreciate the Saturday hours, it is so helpful because I am rarely able to make it during the week. I rarely leave reviews because I am a private person, but I think this bank and branch deserves a glowing one. A million thank yous to this branch and Karmella!! <3

    Yolanda is one if the worst customer service reps I have ever spoken to. She was unprofessional and oblivious to her job. I had fraud on my debit card all that she said was "ugh yeah idk I guess stop by a branch" and then transfered me to a random voicemail. Del Norte really has gone down hill recently.

    I have been a DNCU member for many years and would like to take the time to commend Nicki D. Gallegos from the Los Alamos branch. Nicki is very professional and has great customer service skills.     I needed a loan for some dental procedure and was able to get in contact with a woman by the name of Nicki Gallegos. Not only was she kind and knowledgeable, she went into great depths to figure out something that would work in my favor. Anytime I have ever had to contact her she does call back and follow up. I am very pleased with the excellent customer service I received and will continue to refer people to this branch as well as this kind woman. Thank you again Nicki for everything you have done to help me, you rock! Keep up the great work.

    It's extremely hard to get a hold of anyone. They're on line banking tools are terrible. I had a car loan in 2019. Had a horrible experience. It's 2021 and they ran my credit without my permission. Run from this credit union that is not following federal regulations.
