Decatur Jewelry and Pawn is the best pawn shop in town. The staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I was in the store for over 2 hours today browsing for the perfect gift and the staff, including Jake, we're more than willing to answer any questions I had about the items themselves and also their layaway payment plans. After finally deciding on my purchase, my paperwork was finalized quickly, helping me to get on with the rest of my day. This is not my first experience with Decatur Jewelry and Pawn, and definitely will not be the last. Best of all they will keep in touch with you on your loans and even have a service that tells you about new products coming into the shop.

The staff here is awesome. The store is clean and has great merchandise to choose from. They have an in house jeweler, install watch batteries, repair and design jewelry. Decatur Jewelry and Pawn is definitely recommend!!

I found my grandpa's poles that were stolen in this pawn shop, did the police report, called back next day and Jake tells me to stop calling and wasting their time and mine that the poles were not mine because they were pawned by different people on different days, I tried to explain to him the details about them on how I KNOW they are mine and he rudely tells me to stop calling and bothering them. I now since they did not want to work with me to give me my poles back had to put the 3 poles remaining on layway so I can get my grandpa's poles back. For me to go out of my way and still purchase them after the police report should prove this man they really mean something to me, old poles or not. Now I'm going to end up paying 70$ for poles that were considered no big deal and irrelevant to this worker. He gave me such a bad experience. I will buy my poles back and never step foot in this business again. Very turned off by this whole experience and the fact that my issue was no big deal to him at all and considered a waste of his time. So sad. Such horrible customer service skills, or lack there of.

Had a Christmas watch took it to several places no one knew how to get the back of it off. They all recommended DJ&P. They worked on it 3 minutes and was done. Good job and the price was right !! The jewelry guy was very knowledgeable and very polite

Decatur Jewerly and Antiques has a great gun shop with very helpful staff especially “Lana”. Have had wonderful service from them. The lady at the pay window “Debbie” is so kind and a pleasure to work with. Their ammo prices are as fair as any gun shop.

My husband designed a new ring for me for our anniversary. Jenny helped create an amazing ring with all of the details he had for it. The ring turned out amazing. Jenny and the staff at Decatur Jewelry and Pawn provided amazing customer service.

While I will preface with stating I am not the first person to take something to a pawn shop to sell it, I have had nothing but positive experiences when selling here at Decatur Jewelry and Pawn. The staff is beyond friendly and I've felt I've gotten wonderful offers and deals on everything I've sold here. I was then verbally berated by the owner after requesting a refund. I would only recommend to someone I did not care for very well. Considering consulting an attorney. I was then written a nasty disrespectful message from Perry the owner. Response from the owner 2 hours ago Not much of a response needed here. Just facts. Joe is in his living room. Loads magazine into a firearm that he fails to check to see if it's loaded. IT IS. Points gun at wall & pulls trigger, blasting his wall. Tries hiding stupidity from wife & kids. He FAILS every gun safety fundamental there is. He's embarrassed & asks to return firearm because it's defective. I explain how he failed every gun safety measure & suggest he takes a gun safety course before owning a firearm. Of course, this is all our fault. Enough said. 1. I had a snap cap in one hand and a bullet in the other and mixed them up by accident. (As I told Perry the owner) 2. I do NOT HAVE A WIFE OR KIDS! (He has completely fabricated that nonsense) 3. I NEVER claimed the gun was defective. 4. The only fault that Perry and his shop are responsible for is the fact that I was told the gun was new, or I would not have purchased it. 5. Why don't we honest people just puke at the thought of this pitiful putz and move on.

Wow!!! What a wonderful, clean and very professional business this is. I have done business with them several times and have never had anything but a great experience. I always walk out happy and glad that I came. The staff are all very nice and make you feel very comfortable. When you walk in you do not get that scummy feeling like with alot of pawn places. The store is always spotless and feels very warm/welcoming. They have always got me in and out in reasonable time and will give you the fairest price. They never low ball you and are honest. I have always walked out with more money than I thought I would recieve. I will never go anywhere else! I'm telling ya they are it! ☺

My family has purchased several items at this store. Electronics, guns, jewelry, tools, etc. we have been VERY satisfied with all merchandise. I’ve also had many jewelry repairs done. Gerri, the very meticulous jeweler, does excellent work and strives for customer satisfaction. She checks all mounts whenever something is brought in and makes sure all stones are snug and safe. She stands behind her work. She’s courteous and pays great attention to detail. Costs for repairs are generally better than their competitors. I highly recommend Decatur Jewelry and Pawn.

I lost my father 3 years ago and he left me the ring that he proposed to my mother with. The ring needed a serious repair but I felt extremely nervous about handing it off to just anyone to fix. The ring was cut in half and needed to be resized. My fiancé reached out to jake and he reassured him that the ring would be safe. Two months later my fiancé proposed with that very ring. I can’t begin to explain the emotions I felt when I saw it. The ring I looked at and admired since I was a little girl was on my finger in perfect condition. They did such a good job and I can’t wait to keep passing down this ring for generations to come. If you’re looking for a place to treat you like family, this is it!!!

Purchased a product from Decatur online. Prior to purchasing I reached out to confirm the product options and availability to ship to MA. I received quick and clear communication from them. The product was listed very well with many clear photos and a great description. They shipped it quickly (even though USPS was delayed) and provided me excellent communication on the shipping info and tracking number. When I called to make the payment they were also very friendly and prompt. I read many review on Decatur prior to buying and knew I’d have a pleasant experience based on them. I bought a gun from them on layaway paid over half of it off and decided to pay it off early to get it last year and when i went in they claimed i missed a payment and wouldnt refund me or give me the item even though they never contacted me Edit to reply to the owners response: google changed my name some time ago so this isnt my real name it would be under Chance Grosberger but i appreciate your response if you can find the records i can call after Christmas (i assume youll be closed til the holidays are over)

Decatur Jewelry and Pawn is not only the best pawn shop I have ever been too but they offer so much more than just a pawn shop. I have been a customer for well over a decade and I have never been disappointed. Perry the owner is a great person and businessman. My latest purchase was from Lana and as always a smooth and flawless transaction. Her knowledge of her department is excellent and she always has a smile on her face. Lana is always willing to go the extra mile for her customers!!!! What I love is the greeting you receive when you enter and some of the employees even call you by name which is always a plus! I highly recommend them for anything from jewelry, electronics, music equipment, tools, generators to hunting equipment and more! Support local!!!

After my dealings with this company I see now that they pump there own reviews attention to the 1 star reviews because sadly to say they are true. I dealt with Perry who seemed sketchy at best, it is what it is. I will go elsewhere next time. Stay away.
