Heard about Danny's and we had to check it out. Great selection for your gun needs. Layaway is available and the prices are decent. Staff was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Ammo is tight right now but you can definitely call ahead to ask about availability. Will be back.

So I went to Danny randomly and realized they offer 3 months layaway..on any item..super cool and convenient given these unprecedented times...so anything that you see u are able yo own by paying down whatever u can in the moment. It's a nice thrifty store I'll say

Bought my very First Gun at Danny's. I'm in a tight budget, so I can't afford the Price of a Brand new one. Moises helped me by showing me different options(Very Knowledgeable). Selection wise(A Lot)? I am very Surprised that they even have the gun that I wanted (Used but and in Very Good Condition) and it just came out. Not only that, they give 4 free passes so you can try your gun ASAP at Point Blank with a purchase. Im from Harlingen and it was worth the 30 minutes drive. Planning of getting my second Gun at this place.

I was assisted by Moises. Excellent service, and extremely knowledgeable about guns. He did everything in his power to make sure I took home the exact firearm I wanted. They didn’t have the rifle I wanted so they ordered it and had it within a week. I’m definitely buying from them again.

I can't say just how much I love this store. I just purchased my first fire arm here and they were willing to explain the process to me and recomended a gun to my taste. Just about every time I have been there they have someone opening the door while greeting you. The employees attend you really quick and in the gun and ammo area the one's there really know their stuff. Heck, the other day one was so passionate about guns he showed me one that they had received. You could tell from the way he was talking about it that he loved what he did. It even sounded like his dream gun too.lol I think that if you love guns, go here. If you also like jewelry such as watches you may find a few time pieces that you might like.

My husband and I love shopping at Danny's. Their always very helpful and very knowledgeable. And they have great prices on guns and ammo. We already bought 5 guns from them. Lengthy but worth a read. So, I went to Danny’s Pawn and Glick Twins as these were the only two establishments with Springfield’s Mod2 9mm in stock. (Specific firearm I was looking for and I had called in advance to confirm with both places if I could stop by.) My first stop was at Danny’s and it was about an hour before closing. I was immediately assisted and shown different versions for comparison. Jaime was a kind and attentive gentleman. He was excited even. I decided to not be impulsive and go to Glick’s for a second look. Now my next stop: Glick Twins— I arrived about 15 minutes before closing. The employee expected my arrival and knew what I was looking for. He initially showed me the wrong firearm, I clarified what I was in the market for and I was ready to buy. I was promoted a better price than the competition and better deal because my purchase would included extra accessories from the manufacturer. I told the seller I was interested and I would pay in full but I was turned down... because *it was almost closing time* I stated I was licensed and it would be no issue to wait and quickly fill out the forms but I was told to pay for my firearm and to pick up at a later date because the firearm was locked in the back. I probably should have walked out right then and there. The guy insisted it was the “last one” and that they were better than Danny’s but was anxious to kick me out as well because it was a second past closing time. At any rate, I paid and I immediately had buyers remorse because I handed them almost $600 and walked out with nothing. I went BACK to Danny’s. This was about 10 mins before closing. I not only got a better deal, I also got the manufacturers promotion (except I had to mail it in which was fine) a free day at the shooting range but I also walked out with TWO firearms. They waited until the very last person was done with their purchases. They didn’t pressure anyone out. I went back to Glick Twins and requested a full refund as I never got to walk out with the firearm, so thankfully I wasn’t slammed with a “restock fee” NEVER. AGAIN. I highly recommend Abraham, Jaime and Tere. I will make my next purchase (and all of them) from now on at Danny’s.

I need to start this review by saying a lot of this was my own fault for not usually going about buying this firearm they way I always had RESEARCH. But I was wide eyed for what I thought as the time was a lucky chance availability buy. So I bought it right away again my irresponsibility If I had known that this item was being manufactured again unlike what I thought was out of production I would not had bought right away. And this was concurred with the gentlemen that helped me that it was a chance buy as it was not manufactured. I do not believe he knew different I mean he wouldn't lie straight to my face just to make a sale right? MY GRIPE WITH THIS STORE IS OVERPRICED FIREARMS AND ACCESSORIES BY AT LEAST 25% AND NO WILLING TO WORK WITH A CUSTOMER ON A RETURN nature of their business as a pawn shop I guess well lesson learned the hard way. Every other firearm dealer I have ever dealt with has always been accommodating I guess they value repeat customers. Aside from that I was surprised at the random selection of firearm related items if they happen to have what your looking for that is. (pawn shop after all) But they did have a good selection of ammunition reloading supplies. Which I buy a lot of even though pricing is high it still is cheaper than getting online or traveling to get my supplies so I thought take the good with the bad i'd like to buy here in the future. Well I tried to return a pistol the day after I bought it still in the box never fired and they tried to stick me with a 20% restocking fee for a 900.00 dollar pistol I was like really ( again my stupidity didn't look at the receipt til then that it said that) They really expect that to fly? Again nature of their business? The manager or owner whoever it was said he'd be happy to take it back after the restocking fee. (ya of course you would buddy) So I will never be returning to this store for any future purchases of any kind even though it would had been a great convenience for my reloading supplies and now will have to pay more and go out of my way I'd rather do that than give them any more sales. And would had dumped a good amount of money seeing as I am a young firearm enthusiast with years of spending. But seeing as they have been around for a while and seem to be doing fine I doubt they will miss my future revenue or any customers like me. Take the info as you will readers just info for digestion
