Honest auto mechanic shops are hard to come by these days. Richard, the owner, at Danny Clark's Garage is just that. Personable, responsive, timely, knowledgable, and I don't get that "did i just get squeezed?" feeling that you get after you leave a lot of the big box service shops. My older vehicle has been in twice now, the first time he actually rode around with me to diagnose and explain the problem. Then when he called me with my estimate, he explained why I DIDN'T need the most expensive options. Second time was just an oil change and a "will it make it on a long trip" assessment. The vehicle is old enough that any mechanic could have searched until they found something to upcharge me on. I got out with an appropriately priced oil change, an air filter, and travel confidence. I'm so glad he's just right around the corner!
