Dane County Credit Union, now Heartland Credit Union Struck St, Madison

My bank account is shared through them so I use them a lot to deposit money. Every single time I go and deposit there is an issue. Either they don’t read my wife’s name on the account correctly or they just have a hard time finding the account in general even when I give all the info. I leave recipes in my money pouch for them to reference like one of them asked, but I don’t think they actually use them most of the time.

I just moved in from out of state, and DCCU made it incredibly easy to set up my checking/savings accounts. I was able to use the debit card the very next day! I am so incredibly lucky to have DCCU in my neighborhood. (Like any union (and most banks), be careful of their overdraft fees. My ... Agent? Was incredibly kind and detailed in explaining the consequences, and multiple ways to prevent them)

First encounter with DCCU-awesome! Stopped for their community shred event and was impressed with how organized, friendly and helpful their staff were. DCCU is definitely on my radar to consider for future banking needs if this event is a snap shot of their staff and their dedication to the community!

I've had an account with them for over 6 years. I came in to make a wire transfer and was treated horribly and rudely. The women I was working with made it seem like what I was doing wasn't legit and I felt targeted because of how I look. I will most likely be closing my account with them. This has put a very Ill taste in my mouth knowing I've been profiled.

We Always have a joyous experience when we go there. I would recommend that if you have had a bad time that you talk with the management.

Very annoyed with this bank. Tried to make a purchase online from a different country and was told I am not allowed to order anything from that country because there has been fraudulent charges on other accounts from there. So, because other people have had issues I am not allowed to purchase what I want, when I want?! When I pointed out that's why banks are insured and again requested to be able to make my purchase I was again told I was not allowed to. Since when does your bank get to decide when, where, & how you spend your money? Will definitely be looking for a new financial institution.

I've been with DCCU since the start of my business and couldn't be more satisfied. Alyssa, Olena and all the staff are always friendly, helpful and available to assist with any needs that arise. Highly recommend for both personal and business banking needs.

DCCU has some wonky rules for their debit cards. But when those issues came up and I gave them a call. Got in touch with a member services rep named Julian. All I will say is give that man a raise. 10/10
