Currency Exchange International E 1st Ave, Denver

A smooth experience. I initially tried to get Guatemala currency from my bank, but found they dealt with limited currencies, excluding Guatemala. Currency Exchange provided a prompt service at a fair exchange rate.

I went here for convenience and got ripped off. Do yourself a favor and go to your bank if they happen to exchange currency. It might take up to 48 hrs but al least you know your getting the best rates

So I went there with 55 Euros expecting everything to go smooth and simple like it should have went especially considering I'm exchanging such a low amount. The employee was clearly aware that I handed him 55 Euros as he repeated my order back to me before completing the transaction, however he only exchanged 50 Euros for me and left out the other 5 euros. I'm pretty sure cashier's at Mc donald's know how to handle money better than this guy. Forget about the fact that the exchange rates are a rip off if you're buying dollars, how can you have someone working there that doesn't know simple math or isn't fully paying attention? Thankfully it was a low amount and not anything crazy. Really not surprised this location has such a low rating. By the way when I told the employee of the mistake he went ahead and gave me $6.01 when the exchange rate is 1 Euro for $1.05. So should have been $5.25. I'm so confused as to how this guy is still working there. Isn't there a computer that does all calculations for you? Or do you just have your employees calculate and count on their own accord? What an unprofessional location.

We had a couple of communication issues, not with the staff at cherry creek, but at the 1/800 number for the company. Bernadino the employee at the actual kiosk was super helpful, very understanding and was extremely professional. For folks that said the kiosk wasn’t staffed when they arrived, keep in mind, it is a kiosk, freestanding, and there is only 1 employee. That means any bathroom breaks, meal breaks, etc, there won’t be a 2nd staff. Have some compassion, use your head, don’t be angry at the staff. As no remember, they DO match the current bank rate IF YOU ASK!!!!

I had read all the reviews and decided to go ahead and try them. And I was more and pleased with the service the gentleman I worked with Dylan was great explained everything to make the transaction great. I was getting Mexican pesos and I decided to do it here in the states I'm sick of getting to the airport in Puerto Vallarta with all the craziness going on trying to get pesos out of an atm. To me the price and the exchange is no issue knowing I don't have to deal with that pandemonium and PV.

Just now went there. Easy and fair. They take a 6% profit which is totally reasonable and saved me the hassle of having to try to exchange in a foreign country airport. Easy, fast, and fair. A+

Tried for an entire day off and on to order my currency online through their website and it kept declining my card for no discernible reason. Drove half an hour to the location at Cherry Creek mall only to be treated rudely by the unkempt employee who was late getting to work (supposed to open at 11, he didn’t arrive until 12:10) and get told they’ll have to order that currency and it will be two days before it comes in. They can’t ship it to my house I have to drive all the way back down here in two days. Good thing I have time before my trip. Extremely annoying and this will be the last time I ever use this company.

Fraudulent place of business place a order for currency and it may never come. And the company will not inform you that the currency you orderd with them is never arriving...Also anyperson you talk to is a manager/supervisor. Completely a waste of time.
