Currency works with a sister company called Russ Darrow, it is this sister company I am reviewing. I started the process of buying a truck a month ago. I’ve been handed off from one person to another, the people I’ve supposedly been working with don’t know anything about my case and communication has just been none existent. I paid my down payment quite a While ago and here I am less than two weeks from my first monthly payment and I still don’t have the paperwork I need to register the truck so I can start making money.

As a small business owner it can be difficult to get funding from the big traditional banks. That's not the case at Currency. We got approved for funding the same day we applied, and the funds was released shortly thereafter. Head of Sales Peter Nguyen made the progress seamless and quick. Thank you Peter. I would recommend any small business owner that's in need of funding to give Currency a try...

We’ve been working with currency on equipment loans since start our business. They are very helpful for us, they do understand what we doing and always give us best loan options. Stevenan, she is our account executive and she is very kind and response our questions In timely manner,even we are in the different time zone. Looking forward work with her again.

BEWARE FRAUD!!!! Worst company to deal with and hidden fees that are dropped on you last minute! Once deal is done they wont send a statement, all they do is call and demand a payment over the phone. I have been trying for months to pay off the loan to no avail. All they do is give me the runaround. Asked for a statement and I can not get one. These guys are criminals!

There's a pattern for the "good" comments and the "bad" ones. This company is a total scam. I've done my research and if you see from the reviews, all the good reviews are from people who are posting for the first time. It even seems as if they make FAKE accounts and are posting these reviews on their own. I had a job offer here for 4 months and they rescinded my offer because they didn't meet their quarterly benchmarks. Do not get fooled by this company. I normally don't write reviews but I really don't want Currency Capital ruining people's investments and LIVES.

I have had a great experience with Currency. I only gave 4 stars because covid has put a longer times on things. Suggest them to anyone.

They're being very helpful to us, most of our equipment is being financed through them , and a couple of times it just took a phone call ,so we're very pleased with their services

We used Currency to finance a piece of heavy equipment. They were extremely fast, amazing payment terms, and Dodge was very good with communication. It was incredible how fast they approved everything, digital edocs, and funding to equipment company was so fast. Couldn't be happier.

Untrustworthy company at best. Go with someone more reputable. Over the phone alone, they have lied and broken the law. Their tactics are much like any telemarketing company. They make a sale or hang up on you. As for their business information, they are secretive and evasive. And, ultimately they will not tell you anything that an honest company would (and by law, must). I asked not just one, but 7 of their phone agents, one was a "manager" for the business address and their business license number. The most I was given was told to "Google it". While they were on the phone I did go online and their website is also devoid of information about the company. No information was available at all. I finally dug up some information from other customer's complaints online...But, in reality, if the agent could tell me to find it online then he could simply give it to me as requested. Incredibly Shady! Later, the company replied to another review of mine but came far short of telling me any information I requested. Very sketchy and dishonest. I wouldn't trust any of my finances with Currency Capitol. Given how they disregard the National Do Not Call List, and given how they are willing to break the law in refusing to provide the business address and/or their business license number when requested, and given how they lied to me on the phone, I wouldn't trust that their loans are fully complaint with the law either. For me, financial choices come down to one thing: TRUST. And, Currency Capitol CAN NOT be trusted. Put your money with a company that can be trusted. That's if you care about your financial future.

Please do not do business with this company I applied for a $80,000.00 loan and now owe over $205,000.00 this is a loan at 48.2% interest rate after everything is said and done. If this alone doesn't stop you from proceeding then don't say you were not warned. This company has one sided intentions and that is for them to make money. The reps are friendly but that is so that you feel comfortable and trusting with them. My rep was Ryan Schlegel I advised him that I was a new business and needed to build commercial credit in order for me to grow my business. I ended up applying for an equipment loan with the intentions of paying it off in a year. It wasn't until 6 months down the line I found out what type of loan I really was in. I was having issues with the online payment system so I had to call in. While on the phone I decided to ask what my balance was and she advised me I owed over $185,000.00. I though it was a joke but unfortunately for me it wasn't. Looking back at the conversations and the paperwork I see how easy it is to fall for these types of loans. The documentation doesn't state rates only terms or the cost of the actual equipment itself. Don't think I didn't ask during the loan process but I kept being reassured this is the way commercial loans are processed and everything was being done properly. I am now stuck in this ridiculous loan and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. So I am writing this in hopes that I help someone else make a better decision than me and look for funding elsewhere.

He was professional and was able to answer by 15+ questions without needing any additional help and also didn’t become impatient when I kept him on the phone for over an hour. After our first conversation, I called Currency with a few follow ups and was given good service with every call. Finally, I received my contract via mail and completed the transaction. While the process went well, I can’t say enough about Jake’s customer service job working with us. He helped my wife and I sleep much better at night.

I'm a current customer of Currency Capital, having both a business loan and a personal loan from the company. So far, I'm happy with the service they're provided. They get back to me on time and although there were a few hiccups they communicated with me throughout the process. I was happy with the loans I got and I felt the terms were fair.
