CU Strategic Planning is a powerhouse of passionate and highly effective community development professionals! As CEO of Commodore Perry Federal Credit Union, we worked with CUSP for several years, and they worked successfully to help us obtain our CDFI designation, as well as wrote an award-winning CDFI grant application. The level of detail CUSP shows is unmatched, from understanding the unique economic challenges of your own community, to understanding how to navigate the ever-changing CDFI grant requirements. Working with CUSP has made a tremendous positive impact for our credit union, and ultimately the communities we serve.

I highly recommend CUSP. Their ability to make a substantial impact on the financial performance of the credit unions they work with, coupled with the increased impact on the communities served, is second to none. They are very easy to work with, are up to date with all relevant issues, and have an incredible track record of successful grant writing.

This review will not do them justice, because it is hard to put into words what a great job CU Strategic Planning did assisting us with our CDFI certification and the subsequent CFFi grant proposal/award. They have this process dialed, I would not hesitate to use them again (and we have for other grant opportunities) or to recommend them and their services to other credit unions. But, from a bigger picture they have sharpened our point-of-viewand truly helped us live our mission to be a community focused credit union.
