He responded to my questions quickly, put my mind at ease, provided great insight, and made the whole experience as easy as possible. My closing was on time (sooner than I expected in early January, even with the holiday disruption), I got a great rate and some cash out which I was not able to get on a previous financing elsewhere. This is my second loan with John, my first with CC. Everything so far has gone smoothy – the team was great, their website and document center easy to work with. I will definitely come back to Cross Country and to John, and recommend him wholeheartedly!

I've had nothing short of an amazing experience with customer service here! I was introduced to Peter several years ago through my mother. Peter has now helped mortgage my mom's coop apartment, my own first home, my mother-in-law's condo, and other refinancing. The home I purchased years ago was suddenly severely damaged by a ruptured water pipe after negotiations had already occurred. Cross Country are an absolute must in my book when seeking financing for a loan. My wife and I used them for 3 distinct transactions plus got advice on a home equity line of credit. Cost Isn't a concern since you get the retail rates, the brokers get a finders fee from the lending institutions. Any promotions like open a checking account and get a quarter of a point off still applies. For our third closing, they didn't have the best rate or couldn't do the deal so reached out to other lenders to find the best rate Bereucratic navigation You give your information once and they seek out the best loans for you and most importantly. If you need to apply for a specific bank they will put it out on a silver platter for you and then get answers back from banks quickly. If you try to walk in and submit an application to a bank on your own, you will wait 2 weeks minimum. Can do attitude This is the most important part and why working with Peter and his team was so good. Our most recent purchase was based on a home equity line of credit for the down payment, plus we needed to use income from renting our property at the time as an explication on how we'd be able to service the new 700k loan we wanted. The problem is there was no good paper trail for the rental. The mortgage brokerage team worked on our behalf and talked directly to the manager of various lending institutions to get our loan finally approved. This is the mortgage equivalent of bringing a person in a coma back to life.

I would highly recommend Peter Lucia and his team to anyone looking to refinance their mortgage. AVOID CROSSCOUNTRY AT ALL COST!! My agent Chris was pretty good 5 stars for him.. This review is about the company as a whole and my experience after my closing.Once you complete your purchase/refi you will be treated horribly, literally as if you don't exist. Dealt with multiple agents and 3 supervisors and it will take weeks if not longer to get any type of answers much less results and that's if you are lucky. My mortgage changed due to a tax increase. I am FULLY aware this has nothing to do with CrossCountry BUT they had no clue at all about the change until I contacted them. With 4 days left before being adt deadline they paid the difference. Never discussed my new mortgage or any communication at all. "We sent you a letter" which they didn't. Not only that they have next years taxes wrong which i have been waiting over 3 weeks just for a supervisor to call back to fix but yet they have no problem collecting the higher amount. AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!!!

Peter and his team were absolutely amazing. My husband and I wanted to purchase a home so badly and many mortgage companies simply turned us away. My husband didn't have a long enough job history, and even when we tried finding out what we needed to do to fix our situation, most places didn't take the time to help us. Peter not only took us on, but he ensured we were able to purchase the home we wanted. He, along with his team, broke everything down that we needed to do step-by-step, stayed in constant communication with us, and worked endlessly for us. They made the process not only possible, but pleasant and easy.
