After contacting Bobby and his team in November 2021 we initiated the process of refinancing. We paid for an appraisal and took a hit to our credit for the credit check and we have yet to refinance by nearly Feb 2022. Bobby told us that our loan was in underwriting in late Dec 2021, and we have yet to get a response on whether or not this is actually happening after dragging it out for months. The last we have heard from him was early Jan 2022 and literally crickets since then. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and communication from this team. Would absolutely not recommend unless you want your time wasted. UPDATE: after writing this review i was contacted by Bobby in late february- not to apologize for his lack of communication, but rather to discuss another person’s refinance terms. after repeatedly telling him that i was not trying to refinance for an address i had never heard of and that i thought he had called the wrong person, he argued with me insisting that i had called him before realizing he had, in fact, called the wrong person. i don’t know what’s going on with this company but the unprofessionalism is unheard of. i know times are tough and people are overworked but this was uncalled for.

My wife and I recently moved across the country from Utah to Indiana and used Bobby Clifton and CrossCountry Mortgage based upon a friend's recommendation. Bobby got us a very competitive rate, but anyone who is willing to shop around can usually find a good rate. It was Bobby and his staff's thoroughness and timeliness in dealing with us from 2 time zones and 1,500 miles away that made the approval and closing process easy. They also did a great job in communicating directly with our real estate agent, insurance, etc. as and when needed on our behalf. It was a great experience and a big thank you to Bobby and staff for helping eliminate some of the hassle and stress that comes with moving and buying a house.

Bobby and team are a pleasure to work with. I financed my first home with CrossCountry, and I just went through a refinance with them at a time when it seemed like everyone in the country was refinancing - and they still made me feel like a top priority. On both occasions they were fast, communicative, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable in response to any questions I had.

Fantastic experience, start to finish. As first time home buyers, we needed more hand-holding than we knew of they probably signed up for. Mr. Clifton and his excellent team helped us and guided through credit issues, processing issues, underwriting issues, even through getting laid off during a global pandemic.
