Credit Union of Georgia Eagle Dr, Woodstock

I have been a credit union member for almost 2 years. The customer service is great. Kim Jackson has been my go to from the time I opened my account. She has helped me with all of my banking needs and given me some guidance along the way! Highly recommend!

I recently refinanced my mortgage with Credit Union of Georgia. It was a first class experience from beginning to end! Jason Blakely made the process so easy from becoming a member to the final loan closing process. I would recommend C U of Ga to anyone that is looking for a personal and professional mortgage lender!

I have been a member for years and have purchased all of my vehicles through credit union of Georgia. I submitted loan info on a Jeep Wrangler I was looking at purchasing. Elvis Washington approved me after 3 days of waiting at a 13.5 percent interest rate. That is more than double any rate they have ever given me. I shopped the rate and found another credit union that gave me a low single digit rate THE SAME DAY. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE from Elvis Washington on the way everything was handled. I have cancelled my account and they will receive no more of my business. I advise everyone to do the same, LOOK INTO OTHER OPTIONS

I recently purchased a used car and Kim Jackson at the Woodstock location made the entire loan process simple and quick. Great communication! I would highly recommend!

Jocelyn was both very knowledgeable and wonderfully friendly and helpful. I love the warmth of the new "main branch" and will continue to go to the CU of GA for opportunities that the big banks don't offer.

Honestly, this Credit Union has really done south. They used to be communicative, open, and responsive. Ive applied for an auto loan, and a credit card with them, and I am now 10 days in with no response. Calling the branch or any number is useless, and when you actually go into the branch, no loan officer is ever there to speak with. Its really frustrating y'all. I left no service Bank of America and Suntrust for a local credit union for a reason. Oh well, a place to stash my money I guess.

I’ve been with the credit union since 1993! There really is no comparison with a bank-the people that work there make all the difference. I really feel that the folks there CARE about your needs. Always! Recently, we closed on a loan and Bob Weber could not make things any easier! He explained everything in detail and was professional in every way! He made us feel CONFIDENT about what we were going. Wow, nice and easy! Thanks guys!

I am a member of another credit union, but routinely frequent this co-op branch to make deposits. The staff is always welcoming and generally helpful. My only criticism is that ever time I've been there is no more than two tellers and not uncommon at all for only one to be working. Regardless of the number of people in line, the teller(s) working move with little sense of urgency or concern for the time of others waiting. No matter how trivial the question, remark on the weather, observation regarding traffic on that particular day- whatever it is the tellers are always willing to indulge in conversation. But again, my experience is strictly dealing with co-op branch services, specifically making cash deposits. Based on the totality of my experiences I would seriously consider becoming a member if I decide to leave my current credit union and would recommend without reservations friends and family to do their banking with Credit Union of GA.

Just wanted to tell you we had a wonderful experience with Kathy Ilacqua. She has been so sweet to us over the years, and today we came in on a time crunch and needed help with getting some statements and she was so helpful and accommodating. Very personable as well.

I love this bank. Staff is always friendly. You have to be patient sometimes with all the customers there. The tellers give each and everyone the same friendly smile and attention they gave the last customer. It's a lot better than the last banking facility I was at. Thank you.

Not only did Ishrat Malik get my husband and I (we both got new vehicles) a MUCH better rate on our car loans but she also worked faster and harder for me than any loan officer I've ever had. And my situation was only made more complicated when I RETURNED my car to carmax after experiencing some issues with it. Ms Malik quickly took care of everything and I was able to get yet another vehicle the same day!! I will be using her for all my lending and loan needs from now on.

5.20.2022-Update. I still appreciate the customer service folks, but deducting another star because the website is THAT BAD. 5.3.22-Update - Super nice people, terrible, terrible, terrible website. The last one was bad, but the newer one is SO MUCH worse (and has been from the start), I'm deducting 2 stars from my first review. Their website should not have the power to change the (correct) information I add to info (payment addresses) that is just wrong. This interferes with my ability to pay my bills on time. ESPECIALLY my mortgage. The people who manage the message box pretty much threw up their hands and said CUGA has no control over the people who manage the website. Then they gave me a phone number so I can waste more time complaining about something that's probably never going to get changed. *** CUGA was highly recommended to me by a colleague a few years ago. It took some time, but I finally decided I'd had enough of the "big bank" treatment, and wanted to make the change to CUGA. I also needed to secure a HELOC. Years of health issues and medical debt had taken a toll on my life savings and credit cards. Beth W. worked hard to help me get that loan, and my life has changed 100% for the better!!! In addition, getting in touch with a person is easy. The reps I've spoken to have been very friendly and show a genuine interest in helping. So far, either Beth or customer service has been able to give me the help I need as soon as I ask for it. I'll be a life-long customer, and I hope you decide to join, too!
