    I have an auto loan through this CU and they do nothing to assist the process of paying. Auto pay was always late dinging my credit so I went to manual payments which is just a nightmare. I wish more CUs would loan for work vans because these guys don’t seem like they even want my money. Every month it is the same hassle and I can’t imagine doing this for my 4 year contract. They have a lot to improve upon and sooner is better than later.

    Do yourself a favor and RUN! I've been a mastercard member with them for over 15 years. Out of that 15 years, I had one major dispute on my credit card regarding a merchants services. I started the dispute process in December of 2021 and it's June 2022! They initially lost all the supporting documentation I sent over. In addition, I was also given the wrong case number twice! I'm the one that has always had to call CUD throughout this entire mess because they can't take the initiative to call their members and give them an update. I have not received any correspondence in the mail, no responses to my emails, and the customer service representatives are completely useless each and everytime I call. After months of fighting the dispute, I was told over the phone by an extremely rude and condescending manager that I would get my money back. It has been almost 7 weeks and my account has still not been credited back. I even went down there in person and still got nowhere! It seems like they are lying to me. It is so disgusting. No consumer protection whatsoever. They need to be held accountable. It is criminal at this point.

    Took out a $10,000 loan for a vehicle. Two years later and upkept on payments apparently I owe $9,000. Makes so much sense. Money hungry much. Avoid getting a loan here at all cost please

    I've been with this bank for many years, after my bankruptcy they were the only bank that would take me and gave me a credit card, that alone earned my loyalty!!! They have ALWAYS been there to help me out of some unexpected situations and have been calm and courteous even when I wasn't. I wholeheartedly recommend this credit union to anyone and everyone! Would give them 10 stars if I could...THANK YOU Credit Union of Denver!!

    This was the one bank/credit union that gave me the best interest rate and monthly payment for my auto refinance loan. I went to other banks and Credit Union of Denver’s rates were HALF of what the other banks were. Feels like a family run type of place, really nice people. Would 100% recommend They saved me hundreds of dollars on my auto loan, and it was super easy to apply.

    I have been a customer for a very long time and today it's another reason why. When I discovered someone had emptied my checking account, they were quick to help out and the money was back in my account in 3 days! This isn't the first time they have helped out when something unexpected happened, other banks have made stolen cards or overdraft fees a nightmare, but these guys just help you out.

    The Credit Union of Denver is Fantastic. A car finance company offered me an interest rate of 4% and CUD offered 2.74. Approval and closing were a piece of cake. Highly recommend Credit Union of Denver for your banking needs.

    I recently refinanced my auto loan through Credit Union of Denver and received an awesome deal! The closing was smooth and quick and I got a much better rate. The main reason for my review though, is the excellent customer service I’ve received from Ashley McCormick - before, during and after the loan/refinancing process. She has been super helpful and quick to respond, so I wanted to make sure to give her some public recognition for all her hard work!

    I’ve had nothing but problems just trying to cash a check here at this place. Called ahead of time and verified it would be ok but still denied me when I go to the main branch location. The number of times they thought my activity on my card was fraud was too many times to count. I felt like I had to constantly call them and unlock it. The limited amount of locations really makes it difficult especially if you live further away since you have to do things at the main branch that you can’t at the other locations. To even close my account is painful since I have to have everything sitting at 0$ on payments and wait a certain amount of time. Just do yourself a favor and look else where or leave.

    I've been a member for a very long time. Service was beyond excellent at one time. Over the past few years service has become horrible. Hours indicate open at 8am. On both not just drive thru. Employee I asked said drive thru is what is open at 8am, and lobby isn't open until 9am. She got a bad attitude when I let her know hours showing don't indicate that. Also, Hours on actual website don't show open just that this location is closing early. Very disappointed.

    We recently refinanced our auto loan at CUD. Our first point of contact, Michele Lee, was very helpful and put us in in touch with Ashley in lending, who was very helpful as well and made the process easy. Curtis was our closing agent and was terrific. All were efficient, very nice and knowledgeable. The great rate was a bonus!! Very happy to be doing business with you all now. Thank you!

    So I have been a member here since I was 15, so close to 14 years. I have noticed a great decline in there services. Recently I had a really bad experience with this credit union which has made want to switch banks. I had automatic payments setup for my car insurance set up for payday. Well they denied the payment and my car insurance got canceled. I haven't had issue in the past several months. On top of that they changed me a overdraft fee for $0.67 for something that is supposed to come out on payday.

    Have had 2 different auto loans, not by choice but because it was who the dealership worked with. We were successful in transferring one of our loans to Blue CU (which by the way are amazing). Now we’re trying to transfer another loan.. started out like this. Called on the 20 for a payoff, and what they sent wasn’t a true payoff but it showed an amount around 7k. Then within a week they somehow increased our loan by 1200$ (convenient that it’s within 5 days of us trying to pay off the loan) and said it was because we didn’t have sufficient insurance which we have provided to them and they never said anything about it. They have the wrong phone number on file and it’s nearly impossible to update anything. We don’t have time to drive all the way down to Denver from Fort Collins during their business hours because we work like other normal people. Their customer service and communication is dog s**t.

    Credit Union of Denver is great for auto or motorcycle loans and even helping to build your credit. I have been using them for over a year now and haven’t had any trouble with customer service in person or over the phone. They will work with you during the rough months and above all keep your credit score increasing throughout the year. If you need proper financial professionals this is your place.

    I switched to this Credit Union after being with First bank for many years and I'm so happy I did. The Customer Service is wonderful every time I'm there and they dealt with switching my car loan quickly and effectively. I told them I was going on vacation for a week so they expedited the process so I could finish it before I left. Now that they have updated their website its wonderful and easy to use. I can pay my car, credit card and view my accounts all in one area, and easily from my phone.

    I have a car loan through this CU unfortunately. You have to have 2 online accounts, one for viewing your balance and the other to pay your loan payment. Their website is from 2005 and you need to jump through hoops to get online access.

    I have had my one of my accounts here since 2005. Had direct deposit that I had to move to my other financial institution due to my direct deposit always posting to my account around 10:00am and payments being returned.. when it always posts at midnight at my other Financial institution.

    Their None Sufficient fees are outrageous. For one $5 none sufficient fee they will charge you daily until it is beyond what you can pay. Terrible service and you cannot argue your position to the customer service representative.

    I've been a member of Credit Union of Denver since I was a kid and they are absolutely the best! I have my personal & business accounts here & also do my loans with them as well, I feel there is no need to go anywhere else. They have the best rates & take very good care of their members.     I have done business with them for a long time but my experience with them this time is so poor I will never do business with them again. The banker called me a liar, was very unhelpful and unprofessional. DO NOT USE THIS BANK.

    I finance a car with the Credit Union in May 2021. In November my payment went up by $40 without informing me. After receiving a Right to Cure for Christmas I managed to speak to a person after 4 hours on hold. It turns out it is Forced Play Insurance! I supplied the Credit Union with my insurance on day 1! Terrible service!

    I have been a member at CUD for 15+ years. Due to Credit Union Partners across the US and online services, I am able to go years without going to Lakewood or the Downtown Campus. Occasionally, I participate in member events as I choose. I use the partner ATMs when I am out of state. This setup works for me.

    What’s the purpose of your credit app saying I have a good score, when this is the second time I’ve tried to refinance my truck and turned down both times. I have 5 paid off vehicles that reports good, of course I’m upside down on a new truck I bought a year ago. This place is a joke. Do not bank with these people.

    This bank wasted weeks of my time applying for credit cards and loans I did not want instead of simply setting up a secured line of credit as requested. Then I find out they are selling my info to 3rd party partnered companies. This Credit Union should be ashamed of how they treat their members. Closed my account today and will never return. Stay far away.

    Called ahead to make sure I can cash a check drawn on this bank, as a non number, in the drive up because the lobby was closed, and the teller double-checked and confirmed that I can. I drove a half hour only to be refused. Not the first or second time this branch has wasted my time with incorrect information.

    I’ve been banking with CU of Denver for years and have never had issues with them whatsoever. I see a lot of reviews complaining about the wait times and distance; be smart and don’t go during rush hour. 7-eleven ATM withdrawals are free, so you can go there to get some cash, it’s a business and there’s always going to be somethings that the employees can’t control. Their interest rates for credit cards are one of the lowest I’ve ever had, and they do aaall sorts of savings accounts. I’m ultimately very impressed with this bank. Thanks!
