I had spoke to a wonderful woman name Debbie McDonald at Credit Union 1 in the dispute Department. She was very pleasant very informative and I had a dispute on fraudulent charges and she took care of them in one day , but also refunded my money in my account that I had in there before someone hacked into my account. Debbie is very efficient and was very kind. She basically knew what she was doing.Debbie also suggested that I get Credit Union 1’s “ Card Keeper”. That I will be able to track faster of transactions and if it’s something I did not purchase I can call them let them know to lock my card. I had no idea. And I appreciate her for letting me know about it. Credit Union 1 need more people like “ Debbie” working for them. Thank you Debbie!!!

Rhea Lynch helped me refinance my car loan. She made the process so easy and stress free! All the instructions were easy to follow and she made sure to check up on me and sent reminder for anything I missed. Not only was the experience amazing but the rate was even better than I imagined. I recently had fraud on my Credit Union 1 credit card. After looking sing the dispute, I talked to VISA who said there was nothing more they could do and told me that I needed to call my credit union. I called and spoke with Caitlin who was very pleasant and professional and let me tell my whole story. She listened and took note and did not talk over me. I can’t tell how good that made me feel. That is customer service at it’s best!

Barb Shoaf still has it! After closing the Danville Branch, was not sure we would continue to get the service we were use to. Barb went above and beyond for us. She was able to help us close the deal that day on a new vehicle. Thank you for all your efforts and making it happen. I know it was not easy. Appreciate still getting some of that small town service, where the Credit Union still knows who we are! 🤗 Thanks Barb!!

Rhea Lynch at CreditUnion1 is superb! She was customer service focused, efficient, and personable! Most importantly, she understood my needs and excelled to complete the task.

Debbi was most helpful in the resolution of the problem we were having with Avast! I do not believe I could have done this without her! Not sure if I can recommend her to have anything special, but, if she can be recognized for the way she can deal with problems such as the one she helped me with I would like to recommend her for it! I have been with this Bank since 2005. They don't have a branch in the town that I live in, however I will not stop using them because their customer service is absolutely phenomenal.

I had been sent to 3 different departments before I reached Debbi McDonald. I was so happy to get her. She was very knowledgeable-understanding and patient with me. After I explain to her what information I needed she walked me through the process. What a blessing to have someone like that on your team. I’m really glad the company hired her. We took out a loan and it was such a positive experience thanks to Rhea. This was a more difficult loan since we had a down payment, the owner had a loan and we were taking out a loan. She was quick to answer all of my emails and always kept the owner in the loop. This helped a great deal since the owner was also offered a cash payment from someone else. We appreciate you Rhea! I had some issues with a stop payment situation and could not find the right branch to contact to resolve this issue. I live in California which have no branches so I called the Rantoul office and Kristen Wyatt the Assistant Branch Manager assisted me every step of the way. She listened to my issue, was empathetic and made sure some resolve was found before we stopped talking. I greatly appreciate her professionalism, but I appreciate even more her sincere effort to resolve my issue.

Debbie was very helpful resolving my issues with a particular merchant. Her communications skills with this merchant, resulting in a refund. She advised me what not to do with internet transactions. Thanks Henderson

This is a letter of sincere appreciation to Debbi McDonald, a stellar card service representative for Credit Union 1 based in Rantoul, Il. After I paid off a loan, I received a notice that I owed 11 cents. That later turned into a $24.01 late fee, and I heard "Send in the Clowns" from way too many CU1 employees after that. Although Ms. McDonald's job has nothing to do with solving my vexing problem, she took care and interest in this client of CU1 and made said problem go away. I cannot thank her enough for her kindness, and recommend her enthusiastically for any clients of Credit Union 1.

I worked with Ashley from Credit Union 1 on a car loan. Ashley was amazing to work with, I did everything over the phone and was approved for the loan and picking up the check within 45 minutes. We started the process at 4:15pm on a Friday with the bank closing at 5. Ashley was super helpful expediting the process so I could get the check before the weekend.
