Hi Noel. You called at 3PM... we closed at 530PM. You showed up after we closed our doors for the night! Unfortunately once our doors are closed, because of insurance and liability we cannot reopen our doors after business hours. We politely asked for you to bring whatever you wanted to pawn on Monday morning at 930, when we re-open for the week. I am sorry that you had a bad experience, we are happy to help you with whatever you need during regular business hours.

This review is 100% false. This woman bought our least expensive lap top computer, a Windows 7 machine for $137.62 + $12.38 (tax) = $150 and expected it to run like a $1500 Mac. This computer was restored to its original factory settings prior to it being sold. In addition, we spent over a half hour of time showing her the computer worked & walked her through its settings prior to her purchase. Even though we have a strict "all sales final / no refunds" policy, she brought back the computer the day after purchase with the following complaints: When watching streaming videos on YouTube and on Netflix, the image is buffering too much, the computer did not come with any extra programs such as Microsoft Office. Even though we do not offer refunds, we thought a fair resolution/compromise to her problem would be to exchange the computer for a better but higher priced computer and just have her pay the difference. This was something she REFUSED to do. She thought she deserved the more expensive lap top for the same price she paid. After being the receiving end of an abusive, vulgar and bogus 1 hour verbal assault by her, we were ultimately put in a lose - lose situation and there was absolutely nothing else we could do to satisfy her. We have been in business for over 60 years and stand by everything we sell. Items are all tested prior to us taking them in & are tested again in-front of any customer trying to purchase an item (which was done with this customer). We stand by everything we sell. Customer service is our number 1 priority. Unfortunately, when someone comes in, emotional with an unreasonable request that would put our jobs on the line, there is really not much we can do.

Hello! When did you bring these items in? We just had a staff meeting about this review and each person working for the store, including me, has no recollection of anyone bringing these items into the store within the last 3 months. Additionally we do NOT deal with penny weight, we only deal with grams... Lastly, we would never quote on an item that isnt present, so we would not have given you a quote for gold coins unless you had them with you. Are you sure you are writing a review for the correct store? We pride ourselves on paying the most for items, a reason why we have been in business for over 60 years.
