I have been a member since 1987 and they had two teller windows over by the bowling alley. The staff is the BEST, friendly, knowledgeable and it has ALWAYS felt like family!! THE BRST Credit Union in Ventura County!!

Great credit union. Always happy to help with questions and provided me with multiple loans throughout the past decade. Only downside is they charge $10.00 for Credit Card/Debit Payments, so you'd have to make payments through a Check. Otherwise their interest rates are good and they are willing to Refi if you're in good standing with them.

I am a client since 1991, and I can say that I have never had any problem with this bank. Issues with some people they outsourced with in the past were resolved after I showed proof that in good faith I had been trying to get assistance from that company, but instead I had people calling me to help me with the debt during the housing crash in the year 2007-2008 while I became unable to walk on my feet or to work. I want to commend April (Attorney), Bob Emerick (Administrator), and some man that had an Italian last name...I cannot remember his last name. They all reviewed my situation, and assisted me in any way possible they could. Thanks God, I did not lose my house. People are friendly, and with online banking, I rarely go there for transactions. My three sons also have accounts with the same bank. Their interest rates are good.

The female loan office who was working today was rude to my mom. Not the first time she's acted like that ether . If she doesn't like her job she should work somewhere else . If she needs documentation she should explain why the documents are needed without an attitude.

These people are great...never an issue with them, always helpful...Seems the people that do not like them are the ones who expect the credit union to help them when they get behind....that is not their job or the agreement they borrower signed up for.

Friendly bilingual staff. Love how they know you by name. Can't go wrong banking here little to no fees and great loan rates.

Arguably the worst decision you could ever make in life is going with this company. They had my car repossessed when I was literally $60 short on a payment from a couple of months prior- even though I had continued to make my regular payments. Keep in mind, I had been paying off this 25k car loan for almost 4 years (a 6 year loan) and I owed less than $2500 on it. This was because I constantly made over payments when I could. They also did this less then 2 weeks after depositing my last payment. Also, to add a little conspiracy to the equation, my car was worth more tha 6x the amount that I owed and I was nearly paid off. I have a feeling they were hoping I wasnt going to collect my car so that they could auction and make money. Nevertheless, this little stunt they pulled cost me nearly 3k because they decided to do it on a Thursday and would not disclose my car location until Friday afternoon, when the impoud lot closed for the weekend (storage fees like crazy). Thanks CSFCU for showing your true colors. BEWARE BEFORE DECIDING TO USE THESE GUYS.

AVOID THIS PLACE...unless you want incompetent and lazy people mishandling your funds. They use outside vendors to monitor and process information and the tellers appear to have maxed their education out in junior high school. If you purchase something at a store they don't "approve" of they block your account and leave you in the cold until you call their outside vendor to assure that you bought some gum. I had been a credit union member since I got my first account in grade school. They have lost their path furing yo be like banks. This place is poorly managed and there's no accountability. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. There's a reason most public employees don't bank here. INCOMPETENT BUFFOONS

Inconvenient hours. Unfriendly staff. Horrible customer service. I would recommend finding a financial institution with a better reputation in the community.
