Danny Hart with Cottage Properties has been wonderful to work with. My husband and I first heard about Danny’s great reputation from a friend years ago and decided to go with him to manage one of our rental properties. He really went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. He is friendly, knowledgeable, patient and always quick to respond. He did a fantastic job of finding great tenants and weeding out any that would be problematic. We never had any issues with any of our tenants and felt at peace knowing he would take care of our property. Danny is also a realtor and recently helped us to sell a property and to purchase a home at the same time. The process was seamless. He stayed in constant communication with us and provided updates throughout the process. He really had our best interest at heart. I would recommend Danny to anyone looking to rent a property, have property managed or to purchase a property.

I have nothing but good things to say about cottage properties and Danny. He had always been very professional and fair. I moved into an older home and even though a few things did go wrong with it which is expected for the age of the home Danny was quick to get things fixed and back to normal. Even when my dishwasher hose busted he had a repair crew within a couple of hours there and working and containing the situation. Renting from Cottage Properties has been great and I would recommend them to anyone.

We are attempting to buy a house that Danny Hart, listing agent for Cottage Properties, had put on the market. He misrepresented the house as having a clear title when it did not. He repeatedly lied and misdirected us when questioned on details for closing on the property. He had failed to maintain the property as represented by the Cottage Properties rental agreement as neither the ground nor the interior had been maintained or cleaned. Do not use this company!

Danny Hart went above and beyond to help us with our rental. I always got a returned phone, text, or email. He is extremely professional.

I have worked with Danny Hart for years now. He has helped me get reliable tenants in my rental property over the years. They have kept my home in excellant condition and have paid their rent on time each month. When one tenant moves out, Danny is diligent in showing my rental home and getting new tenants in it in a timely manner. Danny keeps me informed of any maintenance needs, the companies he is working with, and the cost each and everytime. Danny's hard work has made this investment for me virtually worry free.

(In response to Danny Hart's "review")- I do not care what receipt you can provide. The fact is there was mold in the fridge, clothes in the dryer and weight equipment in the car port. The place was a dump! Maybe you should consider hiring a better cleaning company. What about all the times I tried to call you when things went wrong with the place? (i.e. the water main breaks and you are nowhere to be found and there is no emergency contact or answering service on the main business line) I had hundreds of gallons of water pouring out of the main and no way to contact anyone for help. Also, I went to submit a notice to vacate and remove one of the leaseholders from the lease and as usual, Danny was extremely unprofessional about the situation. He said "if your relationship is on the bricks, its not our problem". Really professional Danny. Your tenants relationships are none of your damn business. I really do not care about the $65 cleaning charge, the fact of the matter is your a terrible property manager, period. Like I said before, to anyone who is considering renting through these people, tread lightly and keep your expectations low. However, Chason Wachter was a great help when Danny was on his frequent hiatus. Run as far away as possible!!!! Its not worth the pain. Danny Hart to be specific. When I was looking in the Mobile area for a place to rent, I had only set aside a Friday-Sunday to look around as I had to be back in D.C. for work on Monday. I found a condominium that is managed by Cottage Properties in Daphne. After calling several times, I got in touch with someone who sent my information to Danny. Later that afternoon, I get a call from Danny. He actually refused to show the place during the weekend claiming "I try to keep my weekends free"! How in the world do you work in REAL ESTATE and refuse to show the place on a weekend. This should have been fair warning! Long story short, I could not find anything else that suited my needs so I changed my flight, took off of work and paid for another night in the hotel. After seeing the place on Monday, in very poor condition, I agree to lease it on several conditions. First, the place needed a good scrubbing. Second there was furniture still within the unit that I did not want there. Third, the carpets were in horrible condition. Danny assured me that he would take care of these items. Low and behold, I show up on moving day and NONE OF IT IS DONE. I nearly refused to accept possession of the condo due to the condition. However, I did not have a choice, where am I to go? After further inspection, there was mold in the fridge, dishes still in the cabinets, clothes still in the dryer and weight equipment in the carport area preventing me from utilizing the carport. I took it upon myself to discard most of these items (the owner came and moved the weight equipment) Needless to say, it was a pain. On top of that, I did not receive a mailbox key nor a key to the attached exterior storage closet. Having worked in property management for several years, making sure the tenant has the proper keys is standard practice....evidently, not for Cottage Properties. Having moved out a month early (still paying rent) Danny has the audacity to charge my security deposit a $65 cleaning charge for "dust bunnies" in the living room. Very professional term by the way. These people are idiots who just run an assembly line and do not care what-so-ever about their tenants. I'm just happy that I did not utilize their services for purchasing a home. BEWARE OF THESE LAZY CROOKS!

I've worked with Cottage Properties for 8 years. Boutique full service real estate office. Broker/Owner is knowledgeable, professional and overall nice guy. I was a client before becoming an agent. Second to none!
