Consumers Credit Union 54th St, Grand Rapids

I have been a member of Consumers CU for a short while, but I finally had my first visit inside the other day. The lobby and offices were very clean and the young lady who assisted me was very friendly and most helpful. Thank you Sam for making my first experience the best.

I was referred to Consumers CU to refinance my vehicle & every step Samantha Ralston, Assistant Manager, communicated with me, made this process worth trying & very easy. I’m happy & pleased with her help and their service.

Went in to get more information on a specific topic and now will be going to them for all my future banking needs! Very impressed with their Customer Service.

Our experience with Consumers Credit was fantastic! My fiancé and I were looking for our first home. After given the run around with LMCU and other institutions, a friend of mine suggested Consumers Credit. I called them one morning and within minutes I was able to talk to someone on getting a mortgage. Ellengrace was absolutely amazing! She gave us her cell number and was able to answer any and all questions we had on the mortgage process whenever they popped into our heads. She made the home buying process painless and we cannot recommend her enough. As far as Consumers Credit, we fell in love with this institution and switched all of our banking there. They definitely know what they are doing.

I always feel so relaxed and comfortable at this credit union. The employees talk to you like regular people and aren't all stuffy and uptight. I am so glad I found this credit union!

At my last visit to the 54th street branch everyone was fully dressed up for Halloween, it was fun to see. The gentlemen helping me was pleasant and had impressive communication/customer service skills. Online banking with Consumers has been very convenient and I would highly recommend them to my friends and family. Over the past 17 years I have only ever had good experiences with Consumers Credit Union.

This may be the only bank you can't interact with a teller. I would strongly avoid unless you're interested in a machine only experience. They are way ahead of their time which does not provide a good customer experience.

Hands down flat out one of the best places in Grand Rapids to do business. At consumers they treat you like a person and not like a number. If you want an even better experience see Stephanie or Samantha! I Donely are they grade it what they do but they actually care and communicate like nobody else. Way to go Consumers!
