Connections Credit Union Emerald St, Boise

It’s a small town credit union with none of the charm. Customer service over the phone is usually very curt and not helpful. I banked with them because my family did too and will be switching over to a better more professional credit union. They don’t have an app, there’s no mobile deposit, and they aren’t even open on Saturday. All in all, you should consider banking with a place like ICCU instead. My wife has never had any complaints with them.

Tellers often times do not verify customer's identity upon asking to withdraw money out of their accounts. You'd think during a pandemic, they might take a little bit more precaution considering people are required to wear masks inside. Well, this time I was the victim of a teller not doing a job and noticed $500 missing out of my checking account as a result of "mistaken identity". Pretty scary sometimes they don't verify member ID numbers and signatures to avoid these issues. Glad I noticed and they returned the funds into my account. Reason for not giving a 1 out of 5.

I have been banking here for seven years and they are always very friendly, helpful, professional, and personable. I have done several loans through them, as well as routine banking and a credit card and I have had no problems whatsoever. I much prefer credit unions to traditional banks.

Walked in with a few questions and walked out satisfied and content. Teller was super friendly and helpful. I've been a customer since the mid 90' and will continue to be a customer for the foreseeable future. Keep up the blue ribbon service!

No customer service on Sunday and my account is locked out before I even got a chance to sign on and my automated phone password does not work. Only have had the same one since I signed up. So now I have to wait till Monday to see if I have been hacked and have any money in my account. This on top of having to get a code every time I use online banking even though I checked the box stating my computer was good. I appreciate precautions to keep my account safe but when there is a problem it would be nice to be able to resolve it quickly. Not very happy right now.

The Emerald branch is one of the most amazing credit unions I have ever dealt with. The teller line is top notch, very knowledgeable, welcoming, and super friendly. I will not go to any other credit unions.

The teller line is terribly UN-professional. I felt very un-welcome on a daily basis. I like having as much of my banking in as few places as possible for convenience. The rates and fee structures were luring but not worth the consistent condescending tones and "jokes".
