Community Choice Credit Union 8th St, Altoona

I had 4 fraudulent charges on 3 different accounts. Some of the charges where in the same month. I had to go into the store countless times before I got what I needed. I have had my account for 11 years. I don't know what happened but I felt my money is no longer safe at the credit union so I'm leaving.

It has been a struggle to get a qualified individual to talk with me. I originally went through them for the ease of using an app to pay my truck loan...that was a joke from the start ...took my money to Veridian . They also talked me into a credit card , then they switched apps with the credit card and I have not been able to pay my credit bill because the app doesn't work and I have not been able to talk to a intelligent person to help me fix the issue . Terrible experience so far . Will be taking my money somewhere else !

This branch has the worst customer service ever! They never have any personnel to help open up accounts, I've gone countless times during the week & weekends to open up an extra account and nothing, plus my husband has tried to transfer his 401k and has gotten no response, no contact, no call back, nothing, when they told us they'd be in contact with us. We've gone to transfer our car loan from another credit union (which you'd think they'd be happy to do, it's business for them) well instead they try selling us another loan instead of doing what we asked them to do, we had to decline. I get rude remarks every time I go and ask for a certain amount of quarters, because the tellers (one in particular Op#203) is too lazy to get more quarters or open up a roll and give me extra quarters..... I used to work in a Credit Union & we brnt backwards for our guest not "customers" they pay our bills, we have a job because of the people who walk thrpugh the doors. A little respect and great service goes a long way. This branch is a complete joke! The only reason we continue to use it is because of convenience. I do not recommend this location to anyone!

Great customer service always. Always there to help no matter what you need. Also my pet Lucy knows she is to get a treat at drive up window. Cute.

We just recently opened up an account here and it was a great experience. Looking forward to a long time relationship.

We needed a home mortgage and he was efficient, responded quickly to calls and helped us close on our house by the deadline the seller gave us. Really good customer service. But I will be looking for a new bank. This is the first bank I've ever been a part of that charges me money to transfer my money from savings to checking when I've run out of money in my checking. UNBanking my behind!

I have been with CCCU for over 5 years now. I have always had a wonderful experience here. They have always been willing to go out of the way to help or look into a question for me. Obviously there are times that lines are slow, but it's a company that provides to all of it's members not just me. Edit 10/2: I'm not impressed with the system changes that Community Choice has implemented. The new online system is confusing if you have any joint accounts as all accounts are mushed into one instead of separated like they used to be. Also their new CC system limits clients to only paying their CC once every 3 days. Really disappointed lately. I hope they make some more changes as I really do not want to move to a different financial institution.

We switched to CC from Affinity CU and I love it. Staff is always friendly and I never have issues.

One of the older Bank Managers is extremely rude, makes it seem that you are wasting her time.
