I had an account show up on my credit report that I had been unaware of. After confirming that it was legit I called in and my call was taken very quickly. I talked to Stacey and she was able to provide me with all the information on my accounts and helped me resolve them very fast. I will update if the process is less smooth going forward but as of right now no complaints.

I have been waiting on an itemize list they told me they would pause the debt on my credit report until I had gotten the list and 30 days after that. I just called to set up a payment plan to find out they had already reported it to the credit bureau a month ago!

Be aware of this company!!Get the names and sources of your debts that they claim you owe, especially if they are medical bills. Next file with the FDCPA so you can request a debt validation letter. They purchased a settled account of mine from another collection agency after I proved to that company it was paid in full through my insurance at the time of the injury! When they called they said the debt was from CF Medical. If you Google CF medical a company, CF medical billing (which has a similar name), might pop up but that isn't the right company. I found the correct CF Medical linked to TX and ironically when I called the number it was Capio Collection (see their reviews) who also tried to go after me for my paid Medical bill before CFS. Obviously CFS doesn't screen the accounts they just recycle settled accounts hoping to make a profit. Medical collection companies really need to be monitored more closely by the CFPB because the mistakes they make devastate people's credit! Do not be afraid to file a complaint against this company and others to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Also file with the FDCPA for help with falsely reported debt, dispute questionable reporting across all credit bureaus and submit a review to on Google!

called me about hospital bill i already paid off years ago. these people and others are a scam trying to get money out of you. if you actually owed people like a hospital money, they will send a notice in the mail and you can call the hospital itself....you know, instead of some random person who called you

They keep repeatedly calling me saying it's about a debt but I have not one dollar of outstanding debt to be owed seeing as I paid all my debt off already. They won't tell me what "debt" is owed nore will they send me anything by mail. I believe they are trying to scam me into agreeing to a debt I don't owe.

Your company keeps calling and harassing my parents home even though they and myself have clearly told you that I do not live at that address or phone number and have not lived at that address or phone number for over 3 years. Yet you will not stop the harassment. How would you like it if I called and harassed your parents home and sent mail to your parents home repeatedly? I don’t think you would like it very much. Please stop immediately. This review WILL be posted to all review sites I have access to.

These people has the audacity to put almost a 2,000 dollar bill in collection and reported it to credit bureaus. The bill was open back on 11/20 of last year. In November I was with my family. I have never heard of Why Not Big Sandy. I called them told them I’m reporting them to the attorney general and credit bureaus they keep hanging up phone on me. They’re rude, unprofessional and scammers!!!

Fraudulent company. Making false debt up. They sent me a bill claiming I owed money for a hospital stay to a hospital I have never been at. Refuse to delete it off my credit report it is the only negative thing on my credit report. The bill they sent me also had no real details , just looks like someone typed it up on a computer. No information whatsoever besides hospital name and amount owed, these people need to be sued.

Yeah, I got a miss call from them on a Saturday morning @ 8 Am. I never even heard of the company. They didn't leave a message either. I googled the number and it came up with lots of annoying reports for that number. I found out it was a debt collector. I know for a fact I don't owe anyone or any company money. So, the only thing I can think of is the number that I have now use to belong to someone else that owe someone or some place money. Either way I blocked the number and move on with life.

These people put two collections on my credit for a hospital visit when I had insurance and never got other bills. Somehow they also put in two collections as well which they claim are two separate visits but I was only there once. The collection is from 2014 and they turned it in now because they saw me trying to buy a house. I called them and asked for proof of debt and an email getting it in writing that if these debts were paid it would be removed and I never got either. These scammers should be put out of business by now.

Called and tried to pay off debt. Was told they didn't own it anymore and to call this other place. Problem is is that they are reporting it on my credit. Finally found who did own debt tried to pay off and they said it was closed, over 7 years old, Common wealth still reporting it as open collection on my credit. Oh BTW when I asked why they were reporting it if they didn't own it I was told it's only temporary. Places like this deserve to get sued.

Update: Just fight the credit debt in Kredit app and it’ll be removed again. What they are doing is indeed illegal... I had an ER bill from 2013 (that was first put on my credit in 2014) that disappeared off my credit score about 6 months ago. Now it’s back all of a sudden with a new date of last month! Is this not illegal and called “re-aging”? I’ve been on Caresource now for 3 years so if the bill was from last month, it would be paid. They’re changing original dates to extend the debt on the credit score. If you google it, they’re not even BBB accredited!!

FRAUD ALERT! Not 1, not 2, but 3 mysterious reports on my credit about ER visits I've never made, I've always held medical insurance. Nice to know you'll never receive a bill and have bogus debts just pop up out the blue and ruin your credit. I'm definitely seeking legal representation if it happens again. ((Someone must be upset over there because of my review. I've been distupting another false debt collection and nothing has changed after 2 attempts, I haven't even received any mail regarding said debt, no proof of origin!))

I have collections on my account from this company (medical debt.) Trying to connect the dots, the original creditors aren't places I've ever been or received services from. I'm currently disputing these charges but wonder what happens if they respond that these are appropriate?

This is a bussiness placing fraudulent collections! I have contacted the federal trade comission, and will be contacting the attorney general! The collections report is false, i called the Hospital that supposedly originated the claim, thinking maybe someone was using my name, nope, I'm assuming these guys hit as many people as possible, and rake in whatever money they can get. Don't fall for it! Call your Local authorities if this place has put you in collections fraudulently!!!!!!!

Friendly staff, but I asked them to call back in 12 days when I got paid to settle a debt. They agreed and scheduled a call back. However, the proceeded to call me 4-6 times a day to collect a small debt, and never called back on the day I got paid. They stopped reaching out entirely, while my credit report took damage from them. Thank God for Equifax, I never would have remembered they were pursuing a debt!

Seen that I had medical bill that was dated back from 2016 on my credit score and had called them today. Spoken to Erin who was able to tell me all the information about the debt collection posted on my credit score, even the exact date of when it was charged to my account. She was an absolute delight to handle everything and I can assure you that this is not a fraud/scammer company. They will tell you the hospital it was from and if you are unsure you can call that hospital about the information provided to you by them and they will let you know if it was sent to collections. I know I had gone to the hospital back in July of 2016 and because of moving and changing phone numbers I was never given a bill, but I was able to pay it off today easily with the help of Erin.

I wish I could give negative stars. This company has contacted me alleging that I owe over $1000 for a medical bill that I have proof was paid in full, on time, 5 years ago. After sending a letter stating that I do not owe the money and demanding that they prove I owe it and cease all contact otherwise, they sent another statement alleging that my current balance was over $1000. However, when I called them, they stated that I had a balance of $0. Why then, was I sent two letters stating that I owe them money? This is obviously a fraudulent attempt at getting me to pay money that has already been paid in full. For the record, the woman I spoke to on the phone was very rude and curt with me when I demanded that they cease all communications with me in the future. I strongly urge anyone who receives an attempt at debt collection from this company to ensure that you do indeed owe them anything before attempting to pay. They will send statements with false balances in an attempt to collect zombie debt that you do not owe. DO NOT PAY THEM ANYTHING OR YOU ARE ACKNOWLEDGING YOUR DEBT. Fight this company, and file a report against them as I have. This "business" needs to be shut down, as it is clearly acting in fraudulent ways!

These people filed against my credit report with no notice on an old medical bill (more than 5 years old), citing a provider I have never to my knowledge used. I called immediately when CreditKarma notified me of the change and the person I spoke with actually hung up on me when I was trying to verify address information. I don't know how they can do that with no notice. Very unethical not to give people the opportunity to protect their credit rating. Truly shady operation and shame on Steward Hospital Group for employing them.

Scam! Not BBB accredited. Please do not pay these people if you think that there is any chance that it could be illegitimate! They marked my credit report saying that I racked up a hospital bill over 4 years ago ($3,499)! I called the Hospital and they said that I neither used services at that time, nor do/did they even use Commonwealth financial systems as their collection agency. Please do your research before giving them any money. Do not fall victim to ID theft like these people. And DO NOT give them your bank account number or any info linked to your bank! Good luck and God speed!

****Update: Commonwealth sent my deletion letter as promised and will be notifying all credit bureaus. They were having technical issues which caused a delay in the process. Every customer representative I dealt with was cooperative, kind, and listened to my concerns. **** I will change this review once I hear back from Commonwealth Financial Systems, INC. I called them to pay off my debt. I fully acknowledged the debt because they told me when/who exactly and this information was correct. I paid the debt on the condition that I would receive a deletion letter once the account was cleared. Well, the account was completely paid off yesterday and I have not received my deletion letter NOR am I able to reach anyone anymore. All of the sudden, this company is experiencing technical issues. I REALLY HOPE that the reason they have not reached out to me is due to these "technical issues."

I just called and settled my debt in one call with ease. 4 stars because I DID NOT receive notification about the collection, it just popped up on my credit report which is very frustrating but Adam handled my call with professionalism and advised me they report to the credit bureaus every week. If there are any changes I will update my review.

They will ruin your credit score. If you see this name on your credit report... well, good luck. My last reported alleged debt from them finally fell off my credit report after forever, but that relief was short lived because I got a notification from Credit Wise that this company had freaking reported a new debt. I'm pretty sure they just put the same debt back on there again. Do they have nothing better to do? I really, really didn't want to give this company the satisfaction of getting one penny from me after what they did to my credit, but I do need to try to build my credit back up so I went online and tried to set up a payment plan. I entered my account info and it couldn't even find my account, so I had no way to pay the money they seem to think so strongly that I owe them! This place must be run by people who can't tell their heads apart from their butts.

First off, you have to laugh at everyone who is angry in the reviews. If this wasn't a real business equifax, transfund, and creditkarma wouldn't be reporting it. It's a debt collector, that simple. I called in, was able to pay my debt and get my receipt on the same call. Had no issues with the company after.

Very shady business only to get your money. They say my husband owes $1200 from the Anesthesia department which is BS. My husband couldn't even get the surgery without paying his part. Whats the point of insurance if we still owe money!?!? I sent them a receipt which they ignored me on. Then I sent an email questioning them and they called the next day spitting out more BS.

This bogus company reported a 503 dollar medical collection to my credit report as I'm in the process of refinancing my car and purchasing a home. The hospital doesn't even have record of me owing any money to them, certainly not for that dollar amount, and has never sent me a statement saying I owe money. This company has not sent me a letter or anything verifying this debt, or date of service. Let me also mention I AM FULLY COVERED WITH HEALTH INSURANCE. As someone who takes their personal credit very seriously, you guys have horrible Google reviews and consumair affairs reviews and its obvious why. So add this one to your records!
